The integral expressions of transient oil film force under fixed coordinate system are developed for segmented squeeze film using Reynolds equation. The transient vibration behaviour of the rotor supported on FHSFD under impact loading of sudden unbalance and nonlinear oil film force is simulated successfully using the finite element-Wilsonθ method. Much discussion is given on the effect of oil film clearance and flange ring stiffness on transient vibration of rotor system. The simulation results show that tile expressions of transient oil film force presented in thes paper are feasible, vibration induced by impact loading can he greatly attenuated if oil film clearance and flange ring stiffness are designed properly.展开更多
