Facing international environment of entering into World Trade Organization,the country accelerates construction pace of human resource management subject in colleges and universities,which provides professional channel for management efficiency and market competition ability of Chinese enterprise,but it is still far from practice. In this paper,the concept,origin and inhibition factors of ingroup preference are elaborated. Based on the visual angle of ingroup preference,started from four dimensions( enterprise incentive system,talent management idea,psychological contract and employee communication consciousness),main problems existing in employee relationship management of modern enterprise are explored. It is specially emphasized that manager often holds the blame in front of dealing with the crisis after contradiction,which is " fatal point" neglected in employee relationship management of modern enterprise. To improve its core competitive power,enterprise must value harmonious relationship with employees.展开更多
The underrepresentation in top management positions has made women’s status in the hospitality industry a great concern.The study examined hospitality students’,educators’,and industry recruiters’perceptions of fa...The underrepresentation in top management positions has made women’s status in the hospitality industry a great concern.The study examined hospitality students’,educators’,and industry recruiters’perceptions of facilitators and constraints on women’s career advancement and identified if there were any significant differences among them.Data were collected through an online survey.Perceptions of gender differences of facilitators and constraints in women’s career advancement and gender issues were analyzed within the three groups(students,educators,and recruiters).Results revealed significant gender differences between male and female educators and recruiters.The findings suggested that hospitality education should make a contribution and reveal barriers and gender issues in the industry.展开更多
Purpose:Goal Setting Theory(GST)created by Edwin Locke and Gary Latham has proven to be an incredibly versatile theory.Its widespread utilization has proven it to be a valuable theory to further explore and understand...Purpose:Goal Setting Theory(GST)created by Edwin Locke and Gary Latham has proven to be an incredibly versatile theory.Its widespread utilization has proven it to be a valuable theory to further explore and understand.The purpose of this paper is to examine current approaches to and practices of GST.Methodology:This systematic literature review is based on 12 recent articles using GST and examining their collective findings.The articles were a mix of theory description,quantitative experiments,empirical experiments,and literature review.Findings:Most of the reviewed literature agreed that further and more defined research would be greatly beneficial for future applications of this theory.Given the broad nature of this theory,a more defined approach would likely prove useful for future utilization.Value:Exploring the multitude of ways this theory has already been applied gives an understanding of shortcomings as well as successes.Reviewing the current available literature allows GST to be utilized in a more precise way in the future.展开更多
