The introduction of the concept of new quality productivity has attracted a great deal of attention in the educational community.However,there is an urgent need to align it with policy orientation and advancements in science and technology moving forward.Colleges and universities themselves should be the leaders of advanced thinking and scientific and technological development,and play their due roles in line with the development of the times to provide quality and urgent talents and intellectual support.For this reason,this paper proposes that universities should consciously establish a set of regular operation mechanisms,namely,the linkage mechanism between“social demand”and“connotation construction,”and operate regularly under the guarantee of the system.This enables universities to lead or grasp the pulse of scientific and technological development,constantly improve the level of connotation construction,promote high-quality employment,and provide high-quality services for modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. 展开更多

In order to solve the defect of large error in current employment quality evaluation,an employment quality evaluation model based on grey correlation degree method and fuzzy C-means(FCM)is proposed.Firstly,it analyzes the related research work of employment quality evaluation,establishes the employment quality evaluation index system,collects the index data,and normalizes the index data;Then,the weight value of employment quality evaluation index is determined by Grey relational analysis method,and some unimportant indexes are removed;Finally,the employment quality evaluation model is established by using fuzzy cluster analysis algorithm,and compared with other employment quality evaluation models.The test results show that the employment quality evaluation accuracy of the design model exceeds 93%,the employment quality evaluation error can meet the requirements of practical application,and the employment quality evaluation effect is much better than the comparison model.The comparison test verifies the superiority of the model. 展开更多

The employment quality of college graduates in China is a topic of widespread concern.This paper uses authoritative data sources,including the China Labor Statistics Yearbook,China Statistical Yearbook,and data from provincial statistical bureaus,to examine the employment quality of college graduates in different regions of China.Specifically,the paper explores three aspects:salary level,job intensity,and job stability.The research results indicate that undergraduate graduates experience lower job intensity than college counterparts.However,while North,East,and South China show high salary levels and job stability,issues such as high work intensity,high cost of living,and small living space exist.Therefore,this paper offers policy development recommendations to promote job market reform and improve employment quality.These recommendations aim to address the challenges faced by college graduates in various regions of China and to promote the stability of the country’s social and economic development.By examining the employment quality of college graduates in different regions of China,this paper provides valuable insights for scholars,policymakers,and practitioners. 展开更多

In the context of the era of continuous development of artificial intelligence, the labor value of university students is impacted by technological substitution. Simultaneously, university students are also required to constantly update their skills. All of the above will be the challenge of university students’  employment prospects. However, artificial intelligence will also bring new opportunities, which will stimulate the innovation ability of university students and bring new directions for employment. In order to better cope with the possible impact of artificial intelligence, universities should incorporate employment guidance services into the “three-wide education” system. To achieve this, universities need to take the following measures: developing the dynamic monitoring system of university employment based on big data, constructing the employment guidance curriculum system of university students throughout the whole process, updating the mode of diversified employment guidance service as well as establishing a team of employment guidance teachers keeping pace with the times. These measures aim to better adapt to the job market demands in the context of artificial intelligence, guide students to actively respond to the possible impact of artificial intelligence technology, cultivate their core competencies and qualities that are less likely to be replaced by artificial intelligence, and promote the high-quality employment of university students. 展开更多

The skill training exerts a significant effect on employment and urban adaptation of land-expropriated farmers. The mode of skill training promoting employment quality was proposed. Skill training can raise human resource level of land-expropriated farmers,and increase their labor and employment skills,to help them realize regular employment and smoothly become citizens. For fund sources for skill training,government and land expropriation unit should bring into play active role. Tourism is an important economic sector globally contributing to economic development of many countries.Though the tourism sector has been credited with the creation of millions of jobs to populations’worldwide,there has been wide-ranging apprehension on its capacity to improve the populaces’quality of life.This study therefore sought to establish whether the nature of jobs created had an influence on quality of life of employees working in the STMES found in Mombasa County,Kenya.A mixed methods research design using the embedded approach was adopted.Primary data was collected using researcher administered semi-structured questionnaires and semi-structured interviews.The target population was the 1572 employees in the SMTEs.Probability Proportional to Size Sampling was used for the SMTEs employees where a total of 464 employees formed the sample size while purposive sampling was used for interview respondents.Linear regression was used to analyse quantitative data while tables were used for data presentation.The nature of employment had a statically significant effect on employees’quality of life(R=0.881;P=0.000;V=0.804).This finding has implications for developing a regulatory framework that would enable SMTEs create productive employment in that,it is a wake-up call to the government to re-look at the implementation of the economic blue print(Vision 2030)and identify functional implementation strategies it can use to ensure its’overall goal of providing a high quality of life for citizens is achieved. 展开更多

At present, the problems of employment quality in China are mainly reflected in the labor contracts, working time, labor remuneration, job stability, safety in production, job hygiene, social security, and the respects of basic human rights and participating in the democratic management by the laborers, etc. During the economic transition period, the work relation fields in China appear some special colonies, such as the farmer's colony, the colony of ownership transformed enterprises, the colony of flexible persons who obtain employment themselves, whose employment quality demonstrates the questions of some peculiar ones and need special concern. 展开更多

From prolonging life to prolonging working life: Tackling unemployment among liver-transplant recipients 被引量:2

Return to active and productive life is a key goal of modern liver transplantation(LT). Despite marked improvements in quality of life and functional status, a substantial proportion of LT recipients are unable to resume gainful employment. Unemployment forms a threat to physical and psychosocial health, and impairs LT cost-utility through lost productivity. In studies published after year 2000, the average postLT employment rate is 37%, ranging from 22% to 55% by study. Significant heterogeneity exists among studies. Nonetheless, these employment rates are lower than in the general population and kidneytransplant population. Most consistent employment predictors include pre-LT employment status, male gender, functional/health status, and subjective work ability. Work ability is impaired by physical fatigue and depression, but affected also by working conditions and society. Promotion of post-LT employment is hampered by a lack of interventional studies. Prevention of pre-LT disability by effective treatment of(minimal) hepatic encephalopathy, maintaining mobility, and planning work adjustments early in the course of chronic liver disease, as well as timely post-LT physical rehabilitation, continuous encouragement, self-efficacy improvements, and depression management are key elements of successful employment-promoting strategies. Prolonging LT recipients' working life would further strengthen the success of transplantation, and this is likely best achieved through multidisciplinary efforts ideally starting even before LT candidacy. 展开更多

To investigate the impact of hepatic encephalopathy before orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) and neurological complications after OLT on employment after OLT. METHODSOne hundred and fourteen patients with chronic liver disease aged 18-60 years underwent neurological examination to identify neurological complications, neuropsychological tests comprising the PSE-Syndrome-Test yielding the psychometric hepatic encephalopathy score, the critical flicker frequency and the Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status (RBANS), completed a questionnaire concerning their occupation and filled in the short form 36 (SF-36) to assess health-related quality of life before OLT and 12 mo after OLT, if possible. Sixty-eight (59.6%) patients were recruited before OLT, while on the waiting list for OLT at Hannover Medical School [age: 48.7 ± 10.2 years, 45 (66.2%) male], and 46 (40.4%) patients were included directly after OLT. RESULTSBefore OLT 43.0% of the patients were employed. The patients not employed before OLT were more often non-academics (employed: Academic/non-academic 16 (34.0%)/31 vs not employed 10 (17.6%)/52, P = 0.04), had more frequently a history of hepatic encephalopathy (HE) (yes/no; employed 15 (30.6%)/34 vs not employed 32 (49.2%)/33, P = 0.05) and achieved worse results in psychometric tests (RBANS sum score mean ± SD employed 472.1 ± 44.5 vs not employed 443.1 ± 56.7, P = 0.04) than those employed. Ten patients (18.2%), who were not employed before OLT, resumed work afterwards. The patients employed after OLT were younger [age median (range, min-max) employed 47 (42, 18-60) vs not employed 50 (31, 29-60), P = 0.01], achieved better results in the psychometric tests (RBANS sum score mean ± SD employed 490.7 ± 48.2 vs not employed 461.0 ± 54.5, P = 0.02) and had a higher health-related quality of life (SF 36 sum score mean ± SD employed 627.0 ± 138.1 vs not employed 433.7 ± 160.8; P < 0.001) compared to patients not employed after OLT. Employment before OLT (P < 0.001), age (P < 0.01) and SF-36 sum score 12 mo after OLT (P < 0.01) but not HE before OLT or neurological complications after OLT were independent predictors of the employment status after OLT. CONCLUSIONHE before and neurological complications after OLT have no impact on the employment status 12 mo after OLT. Instead younger age and employment before OLT predict employment one year after OLT. 展开更多

The results suggest that different employer groups share similar expectations on high-quality interpretation, but the value they attach to each criterion varies according to their affiliations. Psychological quality of life and employability skills among newly registered first-year students: Opportunities for further university development

In accord with new European university reforms initiated by the Bologna Process, our objective was to evaluate influences on the relationship between psychological quality of life (QoL) and the acquisition of academic employability skills (AES) among first-year students at the University in Luxembourg. At the beginning (2 months in) and the end (9 months) of the academic year, 973 newly registered students participated in this study involving two cross-university surveys. Students who redoubled or who had studied at other universities were excluded. Data were collected with an online questionnaire comprising the psychological Whoqol-bref subscale, AES scale, and questions about other related factors. The AES score decreased from 74.2 to 65.6. At both time points, the psychological Whoqol-bref was positively correlated with environmental and social relations QoL and perceived general health. Multiple regression models including interaction terms showed that a higher psychological QoL was associated with better general health (difference satisfied-dissatisfied 9.44), AES (slope 0.099), social relationships QoL (0.321), and environmental QoL (0.298). No interaction with time effects was significant, which indicates that the effects remain stable with time. If the university could maintain the QoL indicators at appropriate levels or manage decreases as they occur, it would have implications for health promotion and the creation of new student support systems. 数字经济的发展为农民工高质量就业注入了新动能,为其转型升级提供了契机,但同时也带来了新困境。基于2018年中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)数据,采用HLM模型从多层视角剖析了数字经济对农民工就业质量的影响及其内在机制,并揭示了农民工就业... 数字经济的发展为农民工高质量就业注入了新动能,为其转型升级提供了契机,但同时也带来了新困境。基于2018年中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)数据,采用HLM模型从多层视角剖析了数字经济对农民工就业质量的影响及其内在机制,并揭示了农民工就业质量各个维度的实际问题。研究结果表明,数字经济在宏观层面优化了就业结构,在微观层面促进了弱关系社会资本以及人力资本的积累,进而显著改善了农民工的就业质量,尤其是在收入水平提升和劳动合同签订率方面;但也存在部分低收入农民工无法享受“数字收入红利”以及“灵活化”劳动合同的问题。数字经济对工作时间的影响表现出双向效应,数字经济的快速发展所催生的新型职业岗位和劳动关系模式,也暴露出劳动保障缺失的制度漏洞。异质性分析进一步表明,数字经济会对具有某些特征的农民工群体产生偏向性,会加剧农民工内部的不平等。最后针对性地提出了改善农民工就业质量的政策建议。 展开更多

实现农民工高质量就业是解决收入不平等、实现共同富裕的一个重要途径。文章基于2017年中国流动人口动态监测调查(CMDS)数据,构建OLS、Probit回归模型探讨了社会交往内卷化对进城农民工就业质量的影响和作用机制。研究发现,社会交往内... 实现农民工高质量就业是解决收入不平等、实现共同富裕的一个重要途径。文章基于2017年中国流动人口动态监测调查(CMDS)数据,构建OLS、Probit回归模型探讨了社会交往内卷化对进城农民工就业质量的影响和作用机制。研究发现,社会交往内卷化显著抑制进城农民工就业质量的提升,分维度回归结果显示,社会交往内卷化抑制了农民工劳动合同的签订以及医疗保险的获取,同时也增加了工作时间,但并没有发现社会交往内卷化对其工资水平有不利影响;机制检验表明,社会交往内卷化通过降低居留意愿、减少工会参与、强化就业歧视而抑制进城农民工就业质量的提升;异质性分析显示,社会交往内卷化对“新生代”农民工就业质量的影响更大。因此,应当加深进城农民工的城市融合,优化制度设计并加强劳动监管,推动农民工居留意愿长期化,增加教育培训投入等。 展开更多

本文选取2009—2018年省级层面数据,运用面板固定效应模型分析人工智能应用对高质量就业的影响及其传导机制。研究结果表明,人工智能应用总体能够促进高质量就业。调节效应检验结果显示,财政支出能够正向调节人工智能应用对高质量就业... 本文选取2009—2018年省级层面数据,运用面板固定效应模型分析人工智能应用对高质量就业的影响及其传导机制。研究结果表明,人工智能应用总体能够促进高质量就业。调节效应检验结果显示,财政支出能够正向调节人工智能应用对高质量就业的积极影响,并由于财政支出呈现结构偏向的特征,不同性质的财政支出会使人工智能应用程度对高质量就业的影响产生差异。作用机制结果显示,人工智能应用程度会通过产业结构升级间接促进高质量就业。异质性分析结果表明,在地区分布上,人工智能应用程度对高质量就业的积极影响主要体现在东部地区;在时期分布上,在自动化赋能阶段(2009—2014年),人工智能应用程度呈现出对高质量就业的促进作用,而在智能化创新阶段(2015—2018年)则不明显。本文的研究结论为挖掘人工智能应用在中国如何实现更高质量就业,以及探究财政政策导向在其中的作用提供参考。 展开更多
