Active metasurfaces with dynamically reconfigurable functionalities are highly demanded in various practical applications.Here,we propose a wideband low-scattering metasurface that can realize an in-band reconfigurabl...Active metasurfaces with dynamically reconfigurable functionalities are highly demanded in various practical applications.Here,we propose a wideband low-scattering metasurface that can realize an in-band reconfigurable transparent window by altering the operation states of the PIN diodes loaded on the structures.The metasurface is composed of a band-pass frequency selective surface(FSS)sandwiched between two polarization conversion metasurfaces(PCMs).PIN diodes are integrated into the FSS to switch the transparent window,while a checkerboard configuration is applied in PCMs for the diffusive-reflective function.A sample with 20×20 elements is designed,fabricated,and experimentally verified.Both simulated and measured results show that the in-band functions can be dynamically switched between beam-splitting scattering and high transmission by controlling the biasing states of the diodes,while low backscattering can be attained outside the passband.Furthermore,the resonant structures of FSS also play the role of feeding lines,thus significantly eliminating extra interference compared with conventional feeding networks.We envision that the proposed metasurface may provide new possibilities for the development of an intelligent stealth platform and its antenna applications.展开更多

Recognizing the adaptive capability of modular systems, we introduce a modular reconfigurable flight array(MRFA) to pursue a multifunction aircraft fitting for diverse tasks and requirements,and investigate the attitude control and the control allocation problem by using the modular reconfigurable flight array as a platform. First, considering the variable and irregular topological configuration of the modular array, a center-of-mass-independent flight array dynamics model is proposed to allow control allocation under over-actuated situations. Secondly, in order to meet the stable, fast and accurate attitude tracking performance of the MRFA, a fixed-time convergent sliding mode controller with state-dependent variable exponent coefficients is proposed to ensure fast convergence rate both away from and near the system equilibrium point without encountering the singularity. It is shown that the controller also has fixed-time convergent characteristics even in the presence of external disturbances. Finally,simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed modeling and control strategies.展开更多

In the case of massive data,matrix operations are very computationally intensive,and the memory limitation in standalone mode leads to the system inefficiencies.At the same time,it is difficult for matrix operations t...In the case of massive data,matrix operations are very computationally intensive,and the memory limitation in standalone mode leads to the system inefficiencies.At the same time,it is difficult for matrix operations to achieve flexible switching between different requirements when implemented in hardware.To address this problem,this paper proposes a matrix operation accelerator based on reconfigurable arrays in the context of the application of recommender systems(RS).Based on the reconfigurable array processor(APR-16)with reconfiguration,a parallelized design of matrix operations on processing element(PE)array is realized with flexibility.The experimental results show that,compared with the proposed central processing unit(CPU)and graphics processing unit(GPU)hybrid implementation matrix multiplication framework,the energy efficiency ratio of the accelerator proposed in this paper is improved by about 35×.Compared with blocked alternating least squares(BALS),its the energy efficiency ratio has been accelerated by about 1×,and the switching of matrix factorization(MF)schemes suitable for different sparsity can be realized.展开更多
With the current integration of distributed energy resources into the grid,the structure of distribution networks is becoming more complex.This complexity significantly expands the solution space in the optimization p...With the current integration of distributed energy resources into the grid,the structure of distribution networks is becoming more complex.This complexity significantly expands the solution space in the optimization process for network reconstruction using intelligent algorithms.Consequently,traditional intelligent algorithms frequently encounter insufficient search accuracy and become trapped in local optima.To tackle this issue,a more advanced particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed.To address the varying emphases at different stages of the optimization process,a dynamic strategy is implemented to regulate the social and self-learning factors.The Metropolis criterion is introduced into the simulated annealing algorithm to occasionally accept suboptimal solutions,thereby mitigating premature convergence in the population optimization process.The inertia weight is adjusted using the logistic mapping technique to maintain a balance between the algorithm’s global and local search abilities.The incorporation of the Pareto principle involves the consideration of network losses and voltage deviations as objective functions.A fuzzy membership function is employed for selecting the results.Simulation analysis is carried out on the restructuring of the distribution network,using the IEEE-33 node system and the IEEE-69 node system as examples,in conjunction with the integration of distributed energy resources.The findings demonstrate that,in comparison to other intelligent optimization algorithms,the proposed enhanced algorithm demonstrates a shorter convergence time and effectively reduces active power losses within the network.Furthermore,it enhances the amplitude of node voltages,thereby improving the stability of distribution network operations and power supply quality.Additionally,the algorithm exhibits a high level of generality and applicability.展开更多

Reconfigurable modular robots feature high mobility due to their unconstrained connection manners.Inspired by the snake multi-joint crawling principle,a chain-type reconfigurable modular robot(CRMR)is designed,which c...Reconfigurable modular robots feature high mobility due to their unconstrained connection manners.Inspired by the snake multi-joint crawling principle,a chain-type reconfigurable modular robot(CRMR)is designed,which could reassemble into various configurations through the compound joint motion.Moreover,an illumination adaptive modular robot identification(IAMRI)algorithm is proposed for CRMR.At first,an adaptive threshold is applied to detect oriented FAST features in the robot image.Then,the effective detection of features in non-uniform illumination areas is achieved through an optimized quadtree decomposition method.After matching features,an improved random sample consensus algorithm is employed to eliminate the mismatched features.Finally,the reconfigurable robot module is identified effectively through the perspective transformation.Compared with ORB,MA,Y-ORB,and S-ORB algorithms,the IAMRI algorithm has an improvement of over 11.6%in feature uniformity,and 13.7%in the comprehensive indicator,respectively.The IAMRI algorithm limits the relative error within 2.5 pixels,efficiently completing the CRMR identification under complex environmental changes.展开更多

Environment perception is one of the most critical technology of intelligent transportation systems(ITS).Motion interaction between multiple vehicles in ITS makes it important to perform multi-object tracking(MOT).How...Environment perception is one of the most critical technology of intelligent transportation systems(ITS).Motion interaction between multiple vehicles in ITS makes it important to perform multi-object tracking(MOT).However,most existing MOT algorithms follow the tracking-by-detection framework,which separates detection and tracking into two independent segments and limit the global efciency.Recently,a few algorithms have combined feature extraction into one network;however,the tracking portion continues to rely on data association,and requires com‑plex post-processing for life cycle management.Those methods do not combine detection and tracking efciently.This paper presents a novel network to realize joint multi-object detection and tracking in an end-to-end manner for ITS,named as global correlation network(GCNet).Unlike most object detection methods,GCNet introduces a global correlation layer for regression of absolute size and coordinates of bounding boxes,instead of ofsetting predictions.The pipeline of detection and tracking in GCNet is conceptually simple,and does not require compli‑cated tracking strategies such as non-maximum suppression and data association.GCNet was evaluated on a multivehicle tracking dataset,UA-DETRAC,demonstrating promising performance compared to state-of-the-art detectors and trackers.展开更多
Interdisciplinary applications between information technology and geriatrics have been accelerated in recent years by the advancement of artificial intelligence,cloud computing,and 5G technology,among others.Meanwhile...Interdisciplinary applications between information technology and geriatrics have been accelerated in recent years by the advancement of artificial intelligence,cloud computing,and 5G technology,among others.Meanwhile,applications developed by using the above technologies make it possible to predict the risk of age-related diseases early,which can give caregivers time to intervene and reduce the risk,potentially improving the health span of the elderly.However,the popularity of these applications is still limited for several reasons.For example,many older people are unable or unwilling to use mobile applications or devices(e.g.smartphones)because they are relatively complex operations or time-consuming for older people.In this work,we design and implement an end-to-end framework and integrate it with the WeChat platform to make it easily accessible to elders.In this work,multifactorial geriatric assessment data can be collected.Then,stacked machine learning models are trained to assess and predict the incidence of common diseases in the elderly.Experimental results show that our framework can not only provide more accurate prediction(precision:0.8713,recall:0.8212)for several common elderly diseases,but also very low timeconsuming(28.6 s)within a workflow compared to some existing similar applications.展开更多
Dynamic Bayesian networks(DBNs)are commonly employed for structural digital twin modeling.At present,most researches only consider single damage mode tracking.It is not sufficient for a reusable spacecraft as various ...Dynamic Bayesian networks(DBNs)are commonly employed for structural digital twin modeling.At present,most researches only consider single damage mode tracking.It is not sufficient for a reusable spacecraft as various damage modes may occur during its service life.A reconfigurable DBN method is proposed in this paper.The structure of the DBN can be updated dynamically to describe the interactions between different damages.Two common damages(fatigue and bolt loosening)for a spacecraft structure are considered in a numerical example.The results show that the reconfigurable DBN can accurately predict the acceleration phenomenon of crack growth caused by bolt loosening while the DBN with time-invariant structure cannot,even with enough updates.The definition of interaction coefficients makes the reconfigurable DBN easy to track multiple damages and be extended to more complex problems.The method also has a good physical interpretability as the reconfiguration of DBN corresponds to a specific mechanism.Satisfactory predictions do not require precise knowledge of reconfiguration conditions,making the method more practical.展开更多
Maximizing the utilization of lithium-ion battery capacity is an important means to alleviate the range anxiety of electric vehicles.Battery pack inconsistency is the main limiting factor for improving battery pack ca...Maximizing the utilization of lithium-ion battery capacity is an important means to alleviate the range anxiety of electric vehicles.Battery pack inconsistency is the main limiting factor for improving battery pack capacity utilization,and poses major safety hazards to energy storage systems.To solve this problem,a maximum capacity utilization scheme based on a path planning algorithm is proposed.Specifically,the reconfigurable topology proposed is highly flexible and fault-tolerant,enabling battery pack consistency through alternating cell discharge and reducing the increased risk of short circuits due to relay error.The Dijkstra algorithm is used to find the optimal energy path,which can effectively remove faulty cells and find the current path with the best consistency of the battery pack and the lowest relay loss.Finally,the effectiveness of the scheme is verified by hardware-in-the-loop experiments,and the experimental results show that the state-of-charge SOC consistency of the battery pack at the end of discharge is increased by 34.18%,the relay energy loss is reduced by 0.16%,and the fault unit is effectively isolated.展开更多
The end-to-end separation algorithm with superior performance in the field of speech separation has not been effectively used in music separation.Moreover,since music signals are often dual channel data with a high sa...The end-to-end separation algorithm with superior performance in the field of speech separation has not been effectively used in music separation.Moreover,since music signals are often dual channel data with a high sampling rate,how to model longsequence data and make rational use of the relevant information between channels is also an urgent problem to be solved.In order to solve the above problems,the performance of the end-to-end music separation algorithm is enhanced by improving the network structure.Our main contributions include the following:(1)A more reasonable densely connected U-Net is designed to capture the long-term characteristics of music,such as main melody,tone and so on.(2)On this basis,the multi-head attention and dualpath transformer are introduced in the separation module.Channel attention units are applied recursively on the feature map of each layer of the network,enabling the network to perform long-sequence separation.Experimental results show that after the introduction of the channel attention,the performance of the proposed algorithm has a stable improvement compared with the baseline system.On the MUSDB18 dataset,the average score of the separated audio exceeds that of the current best-performing music separation algorithm based on the time-frequency domain(T-F domain).展开更多

The concept of unmanned weapon system-of-systems(UWSoS)involves a collection of various unmanned systems to achieve or accomplish a specific goal or mission.The mission reliability of UWSoS is represented by its abili...The concept of unmanned weapon system-of-systems(UWSoS)involves a collection of various unmanned systems to achieve or accomplish a specific goal or mission.The mission reliability of UWSoS is represented by its ability to finish a required mission above the baselines of a given mission.However,issues with heterogeneity,cooperation between systems,and the emergence of UWSoS cannot be effectively solved by traditional system reliability methods.This study proposes an effective operation-loop-based mission reliability evaluation method for UWSoS by analyzing dynamic reconfiguration.First,we present a new connotation of an effective operation loop by considering the allocation of operational entities and physical resource constraints.Then,we propose an effective operationloop-based mission reliability model for a heterogeneous UWSoS according to the mission baseline.Moreover,a mission reliability evaluation algorithm is proposed under random external shocks and topology reconfiguration,revealing the evolution law of the effective operation loop and mission reliability.Finally,a typical 60-unmanned-aerial-vehicle-swarm is taken as an example to demonstrate the proposed models and methods.The mission reliability is achieved by considering external shocks,which can serve as a reference for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of UWSoS.展开更多
Person search mainly consists of two submissions,namely Person Detection and Person Re-identification(reID).Existing approaches are primarily based on Faster R-CNN and Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)(e.g.,ResNet).Wh...Person search mainly consists of two submissions,namely Person Detection and Person Re-identification(reID).Existing approaches are primarily based on Faster R-CNN and Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)(e.g.,ResNet).While these structures may detect high-quality bounding boxes,they seem to degrade the performance of re-ID.To address this issue,this paper proposes a Dual-Transformer Head Network(DTHN)for end-to-end person search,which contains two independent Transformer heads,a box head for detecting the bounding box and extracting efficient bounding box feature,and a re-ID head for capturing high-quality re-ID features for the re-ID task.Specifically,after the image goes through the ResNet backbone network to extract features,the Region Proposal Network(RPN)proposes possible bounding boxes.The box head then extracts more efficient features within these bounding boxes for detection.Following this,the re-ID head computes the occluded attention of the features in these bounding boxes and distinguishes them from other persons or backgrounds.Extensive experiments on two widely used benchmark datasets,CUHK-SYSU and PRW,achieve state-of-the-art performance levels,94.9 mAP and 95.3 top-1 scores on the CUHK-SYSU dataset,and 51.6 mAP and 87.6 top-1 scores on the PRW dataset,which demonstrates the advantages of this paper’s approach.The efficiency comparison also shows our method is highly efficient in both time and space.展开更多

Hydrogen is currently mainly produced from fossil sources,requiring additional CO_(2)capture to decarbonize, which energy intense and costly. In a recent Green Energy & Environment paper, Cheng and Di et al. proposed a novel integration process referred to as SECLR_(HC) to generate high-purity H_(2) by in-situ separation of H_(2)and CO without using any additional separation unit. Theoretically, the proposed process can essentially achieve the separation of C and H in gaseous fuel via a reconfigured reaction process, and thus attaining high-purity hydrogen of ~99%, as well as good carbon and hydrogen utilization rates and economic feasibility. It displays an optimistic prospect that industrial decarbonization is not necessarily expensive, as long as a suitable CCS measure can be integrated into the industrial manufacturing process.展开更多

文摘It is assumed that reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)is a key technology to enable the potential of mmWave communications.The passivity of the RIS makes channel estimation difficult because the channel can only be measured at the transceiver and not at the RIS.In this paper,we propose a novel separate channel estimator via exploiting the cascaded sparsity in the continuously valued angular domain of the cascaded channel for the RIS-enabled millimeter-wave/Tera-Hz systems,i.e.,the two-stage estimation method where the cascaded channel is separated into the base station(BS)-RIS and the RIS-user(UE)ones.Specifically,we first reveal the cascaded sparsity,i.e.,the sparsity exists in the hybrid angular domains of BS-RIS and the RIS-UEs separated channels,to construct the specific sparsity structure for RIS enabled multi-user systems.Then,we formulate the channel estimation problem using atomic norm minimization(ANM)to enhance the proposed sparsity structure in the continuous angular domains,where a low-complexity channel estimator via Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers(ADMM)is proposed.Simulation findings demonstrate that the proposed channel estimator outperforms the current state-of-the-arts in terms of performance.

文摘Integrated satellite unmanned aerial vehicle relay networks(ISUAVRNs)have become a prominent topic in recent years.This paper investigates the average secrecy capacity(ASC)for reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)-enabled ISUAVRNs.Especially,an eve is considered to intercept the legitimate information from the considered secrecy system.Besides,we get detailed expressions for the ASC of the regarded secrecy system with the aid of the reconfigurable intelligent.Furthermore,to gain insightful results of the major parameters on the ASC in high signalto-noise ratio regime,the approximate investigations are further gotten,which give an efficient method to value the secrecy analysis.At last,some representative computer results are obtained to prove the theoretical findings.

文摘In the case of massive data,matrix operations are very computationally intensive,and the memory limitation in standalone mode leads to the system inefficiencies.At the same time,it is difficult for matrix operations to achieve flexible switching between different requirements when implemented in hardware.To address this problem,this paper proposes a matrix operation accelerator based on reconfigurable arrays in the context of the application of recommender systems(RS).Based on the reconfigurable array processor(APR-16)with reconfiguration,a parallelized design of matrix operations on processing element(PE)array is realized with flexibility.The experimental results show that,compared with the proposed central processing unit(CPU)and graphics processing unit(GPU)hybrid implementation matrix multiplication framework,the energy efficiency ratio of the accelerator proposed in this paper is improved by about 35×.Compared with blocked alternating least squares(BALS),its the energy efficiency ratio has been accelerated by about 1×,and the switching of matrix factorization(MF)schemes suitable for different sparsity can be realized.

文摘With the current integration of distributed energy resources into the grid,the structure of distribution networks is becoming more complex.This complexity significantly expands the solution space in the optimization process for network reconstruction using intelligent algorithms.Consequently,traditional intelligent algorithms frequently encounter insufficient search accuracy and become trapped in local optima.To tackle this issue,a more advanced particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed.To address the varying emphases at different stages of the optimization process,a dynamic strategy is implemented to regulate the social and self-learning factors.The Metropolis criterion is introduced into the simulated annealing algorithm to occasionally accept suboptimal solutions,thereby mitigating premature convergence in the population optimization process.The inertia weight is adjusted using the logistic mapping technique to maintain a balance between the algorithm’s global and local search abilities.The incorporation of the Pareto principle involves the consideration of network losses and voltage deviations as objective functions.A fuzzy membership function is employed for selecting the results.Simulation analysis is carried out on the restructuring of the distribution network,using the IEEE-33 node system and the IEEE-69 node system as examples,in conjunction with the integration of distributed energy resources.The findings demonstrate that,in comparison to other intelligent optimization algorithms,the proposed enhanced algorithm demonstrates a shorter convergence time and effectively reduces active power losses within the network.Furthermore,it enhances the amplitude of node voltages,thereby improving the stability of distribution network operations and power supply quality.Additionally,the algorithm exhibits a high level of generality and applicability.

文摘We consider a scenario where an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV),a typical unmanned aerial system(UAS),transmits confidential data to a moving ground target in the presence of multiple eavesdroppers.Multiple friendly reconfigurable intelligent surfaces(RISs) help to secure the UAV-target communication and improve the energy efficiency of the UAV.We formulate an optimization problem to minimize the energy consumption of the UAV,subject to the mobility constraint of the UAV and that the achievable secrecy rate at the target is over a given threshold.We present an online planning method following the framework of model predictive control(MPC) to jointly optimize the motion of the UAV and the configurations of the RISs.The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated via computer simulations.

文摘Reconfigurable modular robots feature high mobility due to their unconstrained connection manners.Inspired by the snake multi-joint crawling principle,a chain-type reconfigurable modular robot(CRMR)is designed,which could reassemble into various configurations through the compound joint motion.Moreover,an illumination adaptive modular robot identification(IAMRI)algorithm is proposed for CRMR.At first,an adaptive threshold is applied to detect oriented FAST features in the robot image.Then,the effective detection of features in non-uniform illumination areas is achieved through an optimized quadtree decomposition method.After matching features,an improved random sample consensus algorithm is employed to eliminate the mismatched features.Finally,the reconfigurable robot module is identified effectively through the perspective transformation.Compared with ORB,MA,Y-ORB,and S-ORB algorithms,the IAMRI algorithm has an improvement of over 11.6%in feature uniformity,and 13.7%in the comprehensive indicator,respectively.The IAMRI algorithm limits the relative error within 2.5 pixels,efficiently completing the CRMR identification under complex environmental changes.

文摘With the advantage of programmable electromagnetic properties,Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces(RISs)havedrawn wide attention from both industry and academia.RIS-assisted communication systems can promote hugewireless channel quality improvement and remarkable coverage enhancement.This paper proposes generalpathloss model,radiation pattern and mirror beam effect of 1-bit RIS at sub-6 GHz band.Field trails have beencarried out in outdoor and indoor deployment scenarios.The proposed model is validated through extensivesimulations and field-trial measurements.In addition,an optimized RIS phase-shit design process for the mirrorbeam elimination is proposed and validated with simulations.The proposed theoretical model and measurementresults can promote future research and application in RIS-assisted communications.

文摘This paper proposes a quantitative reconfigurability evaluation method for control systems with actuator saturation and additive faults from the perspective of system stability.Placing the saturated feedback law in the convex hull of a group of auxiliary linear controls,the sufficient reconfigurability conditions for the system under additive faults are derived using invariant sets.These conditions are then expressed as linear matrix inequalities(LMIs)and applied to quantify the degree of reconfigurability for the fault system.The largest fault magnitude for which the system can be stabilized,the largest initial state domain from which all the trajectories are convergent,and the minimum final state domain to which the trajectories will converge are investigated.The effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated through an application example.

文摘This paper presents the multi-step Q-learning(MQL)algorithm as an autonomic approach to thejoint radio resource management(JRRM)among heterogeneous radio access technologies(RATs)in theB3G environment.Through the'trial-and-error'on-line learning process,the JRRM controller can con-verge to the optimized admission control policy.The JRRM controller learns to give the best allocation foreach session in terms of both the access RAT and the service bandwidth.Simulation results show that theproposed algorithm realizes the autonomy of JRRM and achieves well trade-off between the spectrum utilityand the blocking probability comparing to the load-balancing algorithm and the utility-maximizing algo-rithm.Besides,the proposed algorithm has better online performances and convergence speed than theone-step Q-learning(QL)algorithm.Therefore,the user statisfaction degree could be improved also.

文摘Environment perception is one of the most critical technology of intelligent transportation systems(ITS).Motion interaction between multiple vehicles in ITS makes it important to perform multi-object tracking(MOT).However,most existing MOT algorithms follow the tracking-by-detection framework,which separates detection and tracking into two independent segments and limit the global efciency.Recently,a few algorithms have combined feature extraction into one network;however,the tracking portion continues to rely on data association,and requires com‑plex post-processing for life cycle management.Those methods do not combine detection and tracking efciently.This paper presents a novel network to realize joint multi-object detection and tracking in an end-to-end manner for ITS,named as global correlation network(GCNet).Unlike most object detection methods,GCNet introduces a global correlation layer for regression of absolute size and coordinates of bounding boxes,instead of ofsetting predictions.The pipeline of detection and tracking in GCNet is conceptually simple,and does not require compli‑cated tracking strategies such as non-maximum suppression and data association.GCNet was evaluated on a multivehicle tracking dataset,UA-DETRAC,demonstrating promising performance compared to state-of-the-art detectors and trackers.

文摘Interdisciplinary applications between information technology and geriatrics have been accelerated in recent years by the advancement of artificial intelligence,cloud computing,and 5G technology,among others.Meanwhile,applications developed by using the above technologies make it possible to predict the risk of age-related diseases early,which can give caregivers time to intervene and reduce the risk,potentially improving the health span of the elderly.However,the popularity of these applications is still limited for several reasons.For example,many older people are unable or unwilling to use mobile applications or devices(e.g.smartphones)because they are relatively complex operations or time-consuming for older people.In this work,we design and implement an end-to-end framework and integrate it with the WeChat platform to make it easily accessible to elders.In this work,multifactorial geriatric assessment data can be collected.Then,stacked machine learning models are trained to assess and predict the incidence of common diseases in the elderly.Experimental results show that our framework can not only provide more accurate prediction(precision:0.8713,recall:0.8212)for several common elderly diseases,but also very low timeconsuming(28.6 s)within a workflow compared to some existing similar applications.

文摘Dynamic Bayesian networks(DBNs)are commonly employed for structural digital twin modeling.At present,most researches only consider single damage mode tracking.It is not sufficient for a reusable spacecraft as various damage modes may occur during its service life.A reconfigurable DBN method is proposed in this paper.The structure of the DBN can be updated dynamically to describe the interactions between different damages.Two common damages(fatigue and bolt loosening)for a spacecraft structure are considered in a numerical example.The results show that the reconfigurable DBN can accurately predict the acceleration phenomenon of crack growth caused by bolt loosening while the DBN with time-invariant structure cannot,even with enough updates.The definition of interaction coefficients makes the reconfigurable DBN easy to track multiple damages and be extended to more complex problems.The method also has a good physical interpretability as the reconfiguration of DBN corresponds to a specific mechanism.Satisfactory predictions do not require precise knowledge of reconfiguration conditions,making the method more practical.

文摘Maximizing the utilization of lithium-ion battery capacity is an important means to alleviate the range anxiety of electric vehicles.Battery pack inconsistency is the main limiting factor for improving battery pack capacity utilization,and poses major safety hazards to energy storage systems.To solve this problem,a maximum capacity utilization scheme based on a path planning algorithm is proposed.Specifically,the reconfigurable topology proposed is highly flexible and fault-tolerant,enabling battery pack consistency through alternating cell discharge and reducing the increased risk of short circuits due to relay error.The Dijkstra algorithm is used to find the optimal energy path,which can effectively remove faulty cells and find the current path with the best consistency of the battery pack and the lowest relay loss.Finally,the effectiveness of the scheme is verified by hardware-in-the-loop experiments,and the experimental results show that the state-of-charge SOC consistency of the battery pack at the end of discharge is increased by 34.18%,the relay energy loss is reduced by 0.16%,and the fault unit is effectively isolated.

文摘The end-to-end separation algorithm with superior performance in the field of speech separation has not been effectively used in music separation.Moreover,since music signals are often dual channel data with a high sampling rate,how to model longsequence data and make rational use of the relevant information between channels is also an urgent problem to be solved.In order to solve the above problems,the performance of the end-to-end music separation algorithm is enhanced by improving the network structure.Our main contributions include the following:(1)A more reasonable densely connected U-Net is designed to capture the long-term characteristics of music,such as main melody,tone and so on.(2)On this basis,the multi-head attention and dualpath transformer are introduced in the separation module.Channel attention units are applied recursively on the feature map of each layer of the network,enabling the network to perform long-sequence separation.Experimental results show that after the introduction of the channel attention,the performance of the proposed algorithm has a stable improvement compared with the baseline system.On the MUSDB18 dataset,the average score of the separated audio exceeds that of the current best-performing music separation algorithm based on the time-frequency domain(T-F domain).

文摘To simplify the fabrication process and increase the versatility of neuromorphic systems,the reconfiguration concept has attracted much attention.Here,we developed a novel electrochemical VO_(2)(EC-VO_(2))device,which can be reconfigured as synapses or LIF neurons.The ionic dynamic doping contributed to the resistance changes of VO_(2),which enables the reversible modulation of device states.The analog resistance switching and tunable LIF functions were both measured based on the same device to demonstrate the capacity of reconfiguration.Based on the reconfigurable EC-VO_(2),the simulated spiking neural network model exhibited excellent performances by using low-precision weights and tunable output neurons,whose final accuracy reached 91.92%.

文摘The concept of unmanned weapon system-of-systems(UWSoS)involves a collection of various unmanned systems to achieve or accomplish a specific goal or mission.The mission reliability of UWSoS is represented by its ability to finish a required mission above the baselines of a given mission.However,issues with heterogeneity,cooperation between systems,and the emergence of UWSoS cannot be effectively solved by traditional system reliability methods.This study proposes an effective operation-loop-based mission reliability evaluation method for UWSoS by analyzing dynamic reconfiguration.First,we present a new connotation of an effective operation loop by considering the allocation of operational entities and physical resource constraints.Then,we propose an effective operationloop-based mission reliability model for a heterogeneous UWSoS according to the mission baseline.Moreover,a mission reliability evaluation algorithm is proposed under random external shocks and topology reconfiguration,revealing the evolution law of the effective operation loop and mission reliability.Finally,a typical 60-unmanned-aerial-vehicle-swarm is taken as an example to demonstrate the proposed models and methods.The mission reliability is achieved by considering external shocks,which can serve as a reference for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of UWSoS.

文摘Person search mainly consists of two submissions,namely Person Detection and Person Re-identification(reID).Existing approaches are primarily based on Faster R-CNN and Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)(e.g.,ResNet).While these structures may detect high-quality bounding boxes,they seem to degrade the performance of re-ID.To address this issue,this paper proposes a Dual-Transformer Head Network(DTHN)for end-to-end person search,which contains two independent Transformer heads,a box head for detecting the bounding box and extracting efficient bounding box feature,and a re-ID head for capturing high-quality re-ID features for the re-ID task.Specifically,after the image goes through the ResNet backbone network to extract features,the Region Proposal Network(RPN)proposes possible bounding boxes.The box head then extracts more efficient features within these bounding boxes for detection.Following this,the re-ID head computes the occluded attention of the features in these bounding boxes and distinguishes them from other persons or backgrounds.Extensive experiments on two widely used benchmark datasets,CUHK-SYSU and PRW,achieve state-of-the-art performance levels,94.9 mAP and 95.3 top-1 scores on the CUHK-SYSU dataset,and 51.6 mAP and 87.6 top-1 scores on the PRW dataset,which demonstrates the advantages of this paper’s approach.The efficiency comparison also shows our method is highly efficient in both time and space.
文摘Low-carbon hydrogen can play a significant role in decarbonizing the world. Hydrogen is currently mainly produced from fossil sources,requiring additional CO_(2)capture to decarbonize, which energy intense and costly. In a recent Green Energy & Environment paper, Cheng and Di et al. proposed a novel integration process referred to as SECLR_(HC) to generate high-purity H_(2) by in-situ separation of H_(2)and CO without using any additional separation unit. Theoretically, the proposed process can essentially achieve the separation of C and H in gaseous fuel via a reconfigured reaction process, and thus attaining high-purity hydrogen of ~99%, as well as good carbon and hydrogen utilization rates and economic feasibility. It displays an optimistic prospect that industrial decarbonization is not necessarily expensive, as long as a suitable CCS measure can be integrated into the industrial manufacturing process.
