The pace of economic construction in the west is advanced step by step,and all kinds of economic construction subjects show obvious increasing trend. As one of the regions with rich agriculture and animal husbandry resources,it is inevitable to face the problems that wild resources are gradually consumed,and environmental pollution is severe in Tibet. While developing the economy,it must not damage the environment. To a certain extent,the resource and environment infrastructure is the material basis for economic development. With the gradual progress of economic construction,improvement of residents' living standards,and updating of consumption structure,it needs to build,produce and live in the environment of " beautiful Tibet with clean water,blue sky and green". In this paper,based on resource-saving and environment-friendly angle,it sufficiently understands the importance and urgency of accelerating sustainable development of agriculture and animal husbandry in Tibet from the global and strategic heights. It should accelerate Tibet agriculture and animal husbandry taking " resource-saving and environment-friendly",put the sustainable development of agriculture and animal husbandry in an important historical development opportunity,and impel large economic development of plateau agriculture and animal husbandry.展开更多

To further strengthen concentration degree of the chemical industry, improve the production efficiency and utilization rate of emissions, realize the comprehensive utilization of energy development and the green development. In China' s zinc smelting industry, the use of most of the zinc smelting raw materials contain a small amount of the cobalt, zinc in the process of leaching into the zinc sulfate solution, as a harmful effect of the zinc impurities. For zinc sulfate leaching solution cobalt purification, most of the factories are using zinc powder replacement purification method, the output of the purification of zinc slag in the vast majority of zinc with small part of cadmium and a small amount of nickel, cobalt, copper, manganese and so on. This paper proposes the novel systematic method of the Zinc leaching residue re-use that will promote the further development of the green industry.展开更多

One important area where the development of economically viable products can improve the quality and comfort of human existence is natural ventilation inside a building. Despite the wide distribution of air pollutant ...One important area where the development of economically viable products can improve the quality and comfort of human existence is natural ventilation inside a building. Despite the wide distribution of air pollutant sources, the concentration of indoor pollutants may be the dominant risk factor in relation to personal exposure, as most people spend an average of 87% and 6% of their time within enclosed rooms and vehicles, respectively. Under these circumstances, wind driven rotating ventilators, which use natural energy and are cheap to manufacture, install and maintain, can become very effective non-polluting means of alleviating the problems within enclosed spaces. The author has been pioneering design and performance studies of environment friendly products such as the rooftop ventilator for over a decade at the University of New South Wales in Australia. The purpose of this paper is to detail the basic working principles of this ventilator and the series of detailed experimental and numerical investigations that has been performed in the optimization of the rooftop ventilator in terms of performance with higher air mass extraction rate and improved safety in operation has been achieved. Findings from these studies have been incorporated in the design of ventilators that are now commercially produced and marketed throughout the world by CSR Edmonds Pry Ltd of Australia. The conduct and outcomes of these works form the basis of this keynote paper.展开更多
Potassium-ion batteries (KIBs) are promising candidates for large-scale energy storage due to the abundance of potassium and its chemical similarity to lithium.Nevertheless,the performances of KIBs are still unsatisfa...Potassium-ion batteries (KIBs) are promising candidates for large-scale energy storage due to the abundance of potassium and its chemical similarity to lithium.Nevertheless,the performances of KIBs are still unsatisfactory for practical applications,mainly hindered by the lack of suitable cathode materials.Herein,combining the strong inductive effect of sulphate and the feasible preparation of Fe^(2+)-containing compounds in oxalate system,a compound with novel architecture,K_(4)Fe_(3)(C_(2)O_(4))_(3)(SO_(4))_(2),has been identified as a lowcost and environmentally friendly cathode for stable potassium-ion storage.Its unique crystal structure possesses an unprecedented two-dimensional framework of triple layers,with 3.379Åinterlayer distance and large intralayer rings in the size of 4.576×6.846Å.According to first-principles simulations,such a configuration is favorable for reversible K-ion migration with a very low volume change of 6.4%.Synchrotron X-ray absorption spectra and X-ray diffraction characterizations at different charging/discharging states and electrochemical performances based on its half and full cells further verify its excellent reversibility and structural stability.Although its performance needs to be improved via further composition tuning with multi-valent transition metals,doping,structural optimization,etc.,this study clearly presents a stable structural model for K-ion cathodes with merits of low cost and environmental friendliness.展开更多
Purpose:The aim of the present study was to analyze the associations of youths' sedentary behavior(SB) with parents' and siblings' SB and physical activity(PA),as well as the associations of youths' co...Purpose:The aim of the present study was to analyze the associations of youths' sedentary behavior(SB) with parents' and siblings' SB and physical activity(PA),as well as the associations of youths' coparticipation with parents,siblings,and friends in PA and SB with youths' SB.Methods:The sample consisted of 1543 youths(12.02±2.51 years;788 boys) enrolled in the baseline cohort of the UP&DOWN study.SB was assessed by accelerometry and questionnaire.Participants reported the time spent by their parents and siblings watching television,playing videogames,surfing the Internet,sitting/resting,and doing PA.Further,participants reported coparticipation with parents,siblings,and friends in these activities.Linear mixed models,including school and city as random effects,were performed.Results:Parents' television time was positively associated with youths' screen-based SB.Coparticipation with friends in playing videogames(in boys) and in surfing the Internet(in girls) showed a positive association with screen-based SB and a negative association with educational-based SB.Moreover,coparticipation with siblings and friends in PA was inversely associated with accelerometer-based SB in boys and girls.Conclusion:Our results emphasize the important role of social modeling in the development of sedentary lifestyles in youths.Interventions aimed at reducing health risk behaviors in youths could be more effective if they are oriented from a social perspective that involves their families and networks of their closest friends.展开更多
