Exploration of French-Chinese Translation Methods of Electrical Engineering Terminology Using Online Image-Text Retrieval Mode

With the incessant propulsion of the Open Door Policy,which is related to the consolidation of international collaborative partnerships,an increasing number of Chinese companies are moving toward cooperating countries to participate in infrastructure construction,employing a win-win strategy in favor of the people and governments of both countries.Among the cooperation domains,our country’s electrical companies have achieved a series of remarkable results in the international Engineering,Procurement,and Construction(EPC)project market with their outstanding business capabilities and technical advantages.Nevertheless,some shortcomings cannot be overlooked,the most notable of which appears to be the impediment associated with engineering translation,which has always been an obsession among translators of Chinese companies.Taking the transmission line project in the Republic of Madagascar as an example,an analysis of French-Chinese translation methods of electrical engineering terminology in the field of the transmission line is carried out.

Analysis of Efficient 32 Bit Adder Using Tree Grafting Technique

Adder with high efficiency and accuracy is the major requirement for electronic circuit design.Here the optical logic gate based adder circuit is designed for better performance analysis of optical input signals varied with the wavelength.Efficiency of the adder can be improved by increasing the speed of operation,reducing the complexity and power consumption.To maintain the high efficiency with accuracy,a new combination of adder has been proposed and tested in this work.A new adder by combining the logics of Brent Kung,Sklansky and Kogge Stone adders by Tree Grafting Technique(BSKTGT)has been tested along with individual Brent Kung,Sklansky,Kogge Stone,Knowles,Han Carlson and Ladner Fischer adders.All the existing and proposed adders have been designed and tested for efficiency with the help of Cadence platform with 45 nm technology.Efficiency in terms of Size reduction,Power reduction,Power Delay Product(PDP)and accuracy in adding 8 bit,16 bit and 32 bit values had been tested for all the adders and found that the 32 bit BSKTGT adder performed well in all aspects and have produced better efficiency with the power consumption of 52.512426μW with 3.16%of power saving over Brent Kung adder,utilised an area of 631.191 with 8.55%reduction over Kogge Stone Adder,has the cell count of 132 which is 10.61%reduction over Brent Kung Adder and PDP value of 122.6695 J,which is 0.46%less than that of the Han Carlson Adder.

Construction of Software Design and Programming Practice Course in Information and Communication Engineering

Innovation and entrepreneurship education is becoming one of the important goals of higher education in China.According to the requirements of the Ministry of Education to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneur-ship education in colleges and universities,we propose a core principle of“from basis to comprehensiveness,and then to innovation”to construct the software design and programming practice course in the information and communication engineering discipline.We have integrated specialized knowledge teaching with innovation and entrepreneurship training,implemented a series of experimental projects that integrate theory with practice,and explored mixed teaching methods and diversified examination methods.In this paper,details about software design and programming practice course construction are shown from aspects of teaching content,teaching methods,and examination methods.These course construction experiences will benefit teachers who engage in innovative practical courses in the information and communication engineering discipline.

Radio-Acoustic Integrated Network for Ocean Information Transmission:Framework and Enabling Technologies

An important vision of next generation mobile system is to provide global internet access.The Space-Terrestrial Integrated Network(STIN)has been proposed and intensively studied to tackle this challenge.Due to the severe attenuation of radio signals in water,the STIN cannot be directly applied in underwater scenarios.In this paper we envision a framework of integrated radio-acoustic network arming at high-efficient data transmission in underwater scenarios,where acoustic signal is for underwater communication and radio signal is for surface and air communications.Since radio links have much higher data transmission rate and lower delay,in the integrated radio-acoustic network,the acoustic links easily become congested,at the same time the radio links are not fully utilized.We therefore propose that the integrated radio-acoustic network should be properly designed to minimize the hop count of acoustic links,as well as the signaling overhead in the acoustic subnetwork.We then present a novel network framework and the relative technologies to help moving the signaling overhead to the radio subnetwork.

Opportunity and challenge of big data in improving chronic non-communicable diseases： by health system engineering approaches

Chronic non-communicable diseases （NCDs） is a sick- state in the complex system of human body. Healthsystems engineering approach can be used to recover health state by many different ways of system adjustments, including physical exercises, nutrition and psychological intervention, and drug therapies. To evaluate and assess the effects of these adjustments, many parameters of the system states have to be monitored （such as molecular high- throughput technologies, physiological, image, etc.）, and estimated at the different levels （such as molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, and system levels） and on the different dimensions （such as metabolic, immune, neural, etc.） for human system. Huge data have been produced during the whole process, and health systems engineering approach will model health and sick state in the human system by detecting and analyzing these multi-dimension and multi- level big-data in order to find personal suitable adjustment method.

Self Fault-Tolerance of Protocols: A Case Study

The prerequisite for the existing protocols' correctness is that protocols can be normally operated under the normal conditions, rather than dealing with abnormal conditions. In other words, protocols with the fault-tolerance can not be provided when some fault occurs. This paper discusses the self fault-tolerance of protocols. It describes some concepts and methods for achieving self fault-tolerance of protocols. Meanwhile, it provides a case study, investigates a typical protocol that does not satisfy the self fault-tolerance, and gives a new redesign version of this existing protocol using the proposed approach.

Quantum communication via controlled holes in the statistical distribution of excitations in a nanoresonator coupled to a Cooper pair box

We propose a scheme to transmit information via the statistical distribution of excitations of a nanomechanical resonator. It employs a controllable coupling between this system and a Cooper pair box. The success probability and the fidelity are calculated and compared with those obtained in an atom-field system in different regimes. Addtionaly, the scheme can also be applied to prepare low excited Fock states.

A Hybrid Formal Description Method Based on FSM,CSP and ADT for Communication Protocol

Since communication protocol deals with complex issues related to distribution such as communication, concurrency and synchronization, their development needs to be traced by using sophisticated formal description methods. This paper presents a new hybrid formal method for communication protocol specification. In this method, finite state machine (FSM), communication sequential process (CSP) and abstract data type (ADT) are mixed and the best features of these approaches are offered. In this paper, the main formal description techniques (FDT) for protocol engineering are brieny introduced and a hybrid formal description method based on the FSM, CSP and ADT for communication protocol is described. Finally, this paper presents the formal specification of an example protocol for LAN by using the proposed hybrid formal method. The results of studies show that the hybrid formal description method for communication protocol is an available and effective approach.
