Generation of multiparticle three-dimensional entanglement state via adiabatic passage

A scheme is proposed for generating a multiparticle three-dimensional entangled state by appropriately adiabatic evolutions, where atoms are respectively trapped in separated cavities so that individual addressing is needless. In the ideal case, losses due to the spontaneous transition of an atom and the excitation of photons are efficiently suppressed since atoms are all in ground states and the fields remain in a vacuum state. Compared with the previous proposals, the present scheme reduces its required operation time via simultaneously controlling four classical fields. This advantage would become even more obvious as the number of atoms increases. The experimental feasibility is also discussed. The successful preparation of a high-dimensional multiparticle entangled state among distant atoms provides better prospects for quantum communication and distributed quantum computation. 展开更多

By the negative eigenvalues of partial transposition of density matrix, this paper investigates the time evolution of entanglement of the two entangled atoms in the system of two atoms interacting with SchrSdinger cat state. The result shows that the two atoms are always in the entanglement state, and the degree of entanglement between the two atoms exhibits ordinary collapses and revivals at 0.2 degree of entanglement, when the light field is large enough. On the other hand, the reinforcement of three different light fields on the degree of entanglement between two atoms is not evident. 展开更多

In this article, a protocol for the teleportation of an unknown two-panicle entanglement is proposed. The feature of the present protocol is that we utilize an asymmetric threeparticle entangled state as the quantum channel. The optimal discrimination between two nonorthogonal quantum states is adopted. It is shown that an unknown two-particle entangled state can be probabilistically teleported from the sender to the remote receiver on condition that the co-sender successfully collaborates. The fidelity in this protocol is one. In addition, the probability of the successful teleportation is calculated and all kinds of transformations performed by the sender and the receiver are provided in detail. 展开更多

In this paper, after a brief review on the entangled squeezed states, we produce a new class of the continuous-variable- type entangled states, namely, deformed photon-added entangled squeezed states. These states are obtained via the iterated action of the f-deformed creation operator A = f(n)a+ on the entangled squeezed states. In the continuation, by studying the criteria such as the degree of entanglement, quantum polarization as well as sub-Poissonian photon statistics, the two- mode correlation function, one-mode and two-mode squeezing, we investigate the nonclassical behaviors of the introduced states in detail by choosing a particular f-deformation function. It is revealed that the above-mentioned physical properties can be affected and so may be tuned by justifying the excitation number, after choosing a nonlinearity function. Finally, to generate the introduced states, we propose a theoretical scheme using the nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings model. 展开更多

The most distinctive advantage of our scheme is that the non-maximally entangled atoms may be far from or near each other and their degree of entanglement can be maximally amplified. The photon-number-dependent parts in the effective Hamiltonian are cancelled with the assistance of a strong classical field, thus the scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field. 展开更多

In this paper, we propose three entanglement concentration protocols (ECPs) for Bell-type HES, W-type HES, and cluster-type HES, respectively. After performing these ECPs, we can obtain the maximally entangled HES with some success probability. All the ECPs exploit the single coherent state to complete the concentration. This paper introduces two types of two-mode excited entangled coherent states (TMEECSs) ψ±((α,m,n)), studies their entanglement characteristics, and investigates the influence of photon excitations on quantum entanglement. It shows that for the state (ψ+ (α, m, m)} the two-mode photon excitations affect seriously entanglement character while the state [ ψ-(α, m, m)) is always a maximally entangled state, and shows how such states can be produced by using cavity quantum electrodynamics and quantum measurements. It finds that the entanglement amount of the TMEECSs is larger than that of the single-mode excited entangled coherent states with the same photon excitation number. 展开更多

By separating the coherent state into ]a) = co|0) + √-Co2|α), we derive exact results of the logarithmic negativity EN, which quantifies the degree of entanglement between the two bosonic modes. Without particle losses, E~ = 1 for the NOON state; while for the ECS, E jr increases from 0 to 1 as |α|-→∞. In the presence of photon losses, we find that the ECS with large enough photon number is more robust than that of the NOON state. In this paper, we investigate the dynamical behaviour of entanglement in terms of concurrence in a bipartite system subjected to an external magnetic field under the action of dissipative environments in the extended Werner-like initial state. The interesting phenomenon of entanglement sudden death as well as sudden birth appears during the evolution process. We analyse in detail the effect of the purity of the initial entangled state of two qubits via Heisenberg XY interaction on the apparition time of entanglement sudden death and entanglement sudden birth. Furthermore, the conditions on the conversion of entanglement sudden death and entanglement sudden birth can be generalized when the initial entangled state is not pure. In particular, a critical purity of the initial mixed entangled state exists, above which entanglement sudden birth vanishes while entanglement sudden death appears. It is also noticed that stable entanglement, which is independent of different initial states of the qubits (pure or mixed state), occurs even in the presence of decoherence. These results arising from the combination of the extended Werner-like initial state and dissipative environments suggest an approach to control and enhance the entanglement even after purity induced sudden birth, death and revival. 展开更多

An arbitrary three-particle state can be perfectly teleported probabilistically if the sender performs three generalized Bell-state measurements and sends to the two receivers the classical result of these measurements, and either one of the two receivers adopts an appropriate unitary transformation conditioned on the suitable measurement outcomes of the other receiver. It is based on the resonant atom-cavity field interaction. In the scheme, only one cavity is involved, and the number of the atoms needed to be detected is decreased compared with the previous scheme. Since the resonant atom-cavity field interaction greatly reduces the interaction time, the decoherence effect can be effectively suppressed during the teleportation process. The experimental feasibility of the scheme is discussed. The scheme can easily be generalized to the teleportation of N-atom Greeninger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) entangled states. The number of atoms needed to be detected does not increase as the number of the atoms in the GHZ state increases. 展开更多

The two distinct advantages of the present scheme are: (i) The discrimination of 16 orthonormal cluster states in the standard teleportation protocol is transformed into the discrimination of single-atom states. Consequently, the discrimination difficulty of states is degraded. In this scheme, an m-qubit GHZ state serves as the control parameter. The m control qubits are shared by m(s1, s2… sm) spatially-separated supervisors. With the aid of local operations and individual measurements, including Bell-state measurement, Von Neumann measurement, and mutual classical communication, etc., Bob can faithfully reconstruct the original state by performing relevant unitary transformations. However, even if one participant does not cooperate during the process, the receiver Bob cannot fully recover the original state. This protocol can be extended to probabilistic controlled teleportation of an arbitrary N-qubit state and some other N-qubit entangled states. 展开更多
