Objectives: To assess knowledge about stroke among workers, exp...Background: Stroke causes multiple complications, sequelae and a high mortality rate. Therefore, it is important to initiate or improve stroke awareness. Objectives: To assess knowledge about stroke among workers, explore workers’ attitudes towards stroke victims and identify factors influencing knowledge about stroke and workers’ attitudes. Methods: It was an analytical cross-sectional study. It was conducted from 16 August to 30 December 2020 (4.5 months). It was carried out in public and private enterprises in the formal sector in Brazzaville. It focused on workers aged 19 years and above. The study variables were socio-professional, psychosocial, epidemiological and clinical. Results: This study included 543 workers who fulfilled inclusion criteria. The knowledge scores for at least one warning sign and one risk factor were 74% and 77.7%, respectively. The average knowledge scores for warning signs and risk factors were 11.4% and 16.7%, respectively. For prevention measures, average knowledge score was 16.5%. The average score of knowledge for items related to post-stroke life of stroke victims was 78.3%. The average rate of positive attitudes of workers towards stroke victims was 81.4%. The determinants of knowledge about stroke were education (p = 0.039) and information (p = 0.040). The factors influencing workers’ normal attitude were education (p = 0.023) and knowledge about stroke (p Conclusion: Although the attitudes towards stroke victims are overall good, the level of knowledge about warning signs, risk factors and prevention measures is low. The underlying rationales include: 1) creating the measuring items for the complex decision problems;2) applying factor analysis to reduce the complex measuring items into fewer constructs;3) employing Bayesian network classifier technique to discover the causal directions among constructs;4) using partial least squares path modeling to test the causal relationships among the items-constructs. The proposed framework is implemented for knowledge discovery to a case of high-tech companies’ enterprise resource planning (ERP) benefits and satisfaction in Hsinchu Science Park,Taiwan. The results show that the proposed framework for ANP modeling can reach a satisfactory level of convergent reliability and validity. Based on the findings, pragmatic implications to the ERP venders are discussed. This study has shed new light on the long neglected, yet critical, issue on decision structures and knowledge discovery for ANP modeling.展开更多

T...Formal training can play a particularly important role in supporting the internationalization of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). However, the demand for education services by the latter still appears limited. This is due to known structural and cultural limits that are found widely in this type of business and to the fact that the provision of training---especially that which is funded^oes not seem to address adequately SMEs' needs; in many cases, such training is not stimulating, because it is perceived as too general. In fact, SMEs do not constitute a single homogeneous group and therefore assistance needs vary among the different types of firms. So, especially in relation to internationalization, it is clear that there are important differences to consider due to the variety of approaches and ways of developing this process. In order to optimize the resources to invest in the promotion of training, there is a need to find a proper balance between providing "viable solutions for all businesses" and offering "targeted responses and tailored services". In such a context, the main objective of this paper is to identify and systematize the variables that most influence the SMEs' training needs related to internationalization by taking into account the differences among them. To this end, an empirical analysis was developed involving a significant number of Italian SMEs by using a combination of qualitative research methods. The results show the critical issues faced by the investigated firms during their internationalization process and highlight some important variables that affect their training needs: export involvement, characteristics of the product/market, characteristics of the company, exporting strategy, and human resources. Based on these variables, the writers identified clusters of firms characterized by similar needs and problems to be faced.展开更多

On the basis of this, the structure and function modules of the knowledge atlas are designed, and the drawing steps of project-oriented enterprise knowledge map are explained in details, which aims to help project-oriented enterprises to find effective knowledge management tools in the process of knowledge management, to improve the level of knowledge management, to further strengthen the innovation of products and services.
文摘Enterprise diagnosis is a complex process in which various enterprise knowledge are involved. It is proved that hybrid inference mechanism is an effective solution to deal with such problems. Aimed at the issue that current representation of diagnosis knowledge depends excessively on the inference mechanism, the strategy that separates the enterprise model knowledge and the inference knowledge is adopted in this paper. By systematically analyzing the diagnosis knowledge of enterprise model, a general representation of diagnosis model knowledge is put forward based upon XML schema and its validity and feasibility is tested through a practical application.
文摘Knowledge transfer is widely emphasized as a strategic issue for firm competition. A model for intra-firm horizontal knowledge transfer is proposed to model horizontal knowledge transfer to solve some demerits in current knowledge transfer researches. The concept model of intra-firm horizontal knowledge transfer was described and a framework was provided to define the main components of the transfer process. Horizontal knowledge transfer is that knowledge is transferred from the source to the same hierarchical level recipients as the target. Horizontal knowledge transfer constitutes a strategic area of knowledge management research. However, little is known about the circumstances under which one particular mechanism is the most appropriate. To address these issues, some significant conclusions are drawn concerning knowledge transfer mechanisms in a real-world setting.

文摘This paper proposes an integrative framework for network-structured analytic network process (ANP) modeling. The underlying rationales include: 1) creating the measuring items for the complex decision problems;2) applying factor analysis to reduce the complex measuring items into fewer constructs;3) employing Bayesian network classifier technique to discover the causal directions among constructs;4) using partial least squares path modeling to test the causal relationships among the items-constructs. The proposed framework is implemented for knowledge discovery to a case of high-tech companies’ enterprise resource planning (ERP) benefits and satisfaction in Hsinchu Science Park,Taiwan. The results show that the proposed framework for ANP modeling can reach a satisfactory level of convergent reliability and validity. Based on the findings, pragmatic implications to the ERP venders are discussed. This study has shed new light on the long neglected, yet critical, issue on decision structures and knowledge discovery for ANP modeling.

文摘Organizational learning capability is an important embodiment of the competitive advantage of enterprises in the era of knowledge economy. Based on the embeddedness theory,six factors are discussed that influence organizational learning capability from the perspective of knowledge embeddedness: employees embeddedness, tools embeddedness, tasks embeddedness,interpersonal relationship embeddedness, organizational culture embeddedness and network environment embeddedness. Combined with the survey data of textile and apparel manufacturing industry,the research proves the important function of knowledge embeddedness in the construction of organizational learning capability, and proposes three research countermeasures for industrial upgrading.
文摘Nowadays, knowledge in Public Sector environment becomes very vast and increasing day by day at speedy pace. So, to handle and manage the knowledge becomes a tedious job, resulting into degrading the overall affectivity and productivity of the system. Hence, the need of effective architecture arises, which can increase the performance of disseminating knowledge in public sector. This results the implementation of knowledge management (KM) using Multi Agents (MA). Using Multi Agents reduces the time overhead for serving relevant knowledge to end users. The objective of this paper is to propose KM architecture using MA which will be helpful and effective in circulating knowledge to public sectors in a much better and easier manner, due to which it enhances the productivity and performance. The paper firstly, gives the understanding of literature on various knowledge management frameworks and tools for implementing Multi Agents. Then it proposes a MA enterprise knowledge management architecture (MAEKM), stating that how knowledge circulation will be done. At the end, using JADE framework, paper implements MAEKM architecture for public sector. The paper describes the necessity of implementing this architecture and its usefulness in disseminating knowledge in public sectors.
文摘Formal training can play a particularly important role in supporting the internationalization of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). However, the demand for education services by the latter still appears limited. This is due to known structural and cultural limits that are found widely in this type of business and to the fact that the provision of training---especially that which is funded^oes not seem to address adequately SMEs' needs; in many cases, such training is not stimulating, because it is perceived as too general. In fact, SMEs do not constitute a single homogeneous group and therefore assistance needs vary among the different types of firms. So, especially in relation to internationalization, it is clear that there are important differences to consider due to the variety of approaches and ways of developing this process. In order to optimize the resources to invest in the promotion of training, there is a need to find a proper balance between providing "viable solutions for all businesses" and offering "targeted responses and tailored services". In such a context, the main objective of this paper is to identify and systematize the variables that most influence the SMEs' training needs related to internationalization by taking into account the differences among them. To this end, an empirical analysis was developed involving a significant number of Italian SMEs by using a combination of qualitative research methods. The results show the critical issues faced by the investigated firms during their internationalization process and highlight some important variables that affect their training needs: export involvement, characteristics of the product/market, characteristics of the company, exporting strategy, and human resources. Based on these variables, the writers identified clusters of firms characterized by similar needs and problems to be faced.
