Optimized Composition of Functional Bacteria for Bioremediation of Sediment Environment of Shrimp Culture

After the single-strain abilities of organic-pollutant-degrading bacteria in bioremediation of sediment environment of shrimp culture are determined, the multi- strain degrading effect of the compositions of different strains is measured. The results indicate that the multi-strains groups have higher degrading ability than the single -strain groups. Three-strain groups are better than two-strain groups, and four-strain groups are better than three-strain groups and five-strain groups, the groups composed of strains Lt7222, Lt7511, Fc6308 and Gy7018 has the best degrading effect, the CODMn removal rate is 73.2 % in 66 h, and gets to 82.7 % in 114 h, 30 % higher than that of the best single-strain group; Groups of Lt7222, Lt7511, Lt7451 and Gy7018 are the second, whose CODMn removal rate is 82.1 % in 114 h. It is suggested that multi-species bacteria be used as functional bacteria in bioremediation of mariculture environment.

Environmental Cultural Landscape Characteristics of Agricultural Vocational Colleges: A Case Study of Bioengineering Branch of Yangling Vocation and Technical College and Doucun Farm

Based on the overall planning of environmental cultural construction of Yangling Vocational & Technical College and the college–enterprise co-construction of Doucun Farm, this paper combined environmental cultural reformation inside and outside the college and reform of off-campus teaching experiment farm in view of outstanding agricultural characteristics of the bioengineering branch, with environmental health preservation as the fundamental goal and "health-preserving agriculture" as the link. In addition, four major characteristic landscape frameworks of "point, line, surface, and body" were established, and the effective construction approaches of health-preserving environmental cultural landscapes in vocational colleges were explored.

How to establish a first-class international scientific journal in China?

Hundreds of scientific journals are published in China. However, only scores of them are included in Science Citation Index by the Institute for Scientific Information, with impact factors of only 1 or less. Thus, how to establish a first-class international scientific journal in China is an important but difficult topic that deserves extensive exploration. World Journal of Gastroenterology (WJG) sets a good example although it has experienced setbacks on the road towards success. Concepts and pursuits that affirm the overall development direction, innovation and dreams that provide impetus and aspiration for higher objectives, team work and unique pattern that assure excellent quality and service, and culture and environment that also determine the speed and direction of the development, are believed to be the major factors contributing to the success of WJG. It is recommended that the effective resolution to the above issue is to learn from Chinese examples such as WJG rather than from “how foreign journals do”.

INFLUENCE OF MIXING DEVICE ON SERUM-FREE CULTIVATION OF INSECT CELLS IN SPINNER FLASKS

A culture system was developed and successfully employed for the serum-free cultivation of Tn-5B1-4 (Tn5 ) insect cells. With our adaptation procedure, it was possible to obtain cells fully adapted to serum-free media in stationary T-flasks and then enable these adapted cells to grow well in spinner flasks immediately. In today＇s world, where re-examination has been given to cultural globalization, the relationship between architectures and specific regions is one of many specific issues. At this time, the study of architecture from the perspective of geography has significant meaning for treasuring regional characteristics and protecting the essence of ethnic culture. The study of geo-architecture includes two aspects： the influence of geographical environment upon architecture and reflexively, architectural responses to geographical environment. In ＂Geo-Architecture and Landscape in China＇s Geographic and Historic Context Series＂（4 volumes）, published by Springer Nature in 2016, the contents of ＂geo-architecture＂ has been interpreted from various angles as form, function, semantics and symbol. This book is the first to be entitled ＂Geo-Architecture＂, which studies the relationship between geography and architecture from the perspective of geographical environment and historical context in China. The book＇s research reveals the influences of different geographical scales, such as zone（macro）, region（middle） and site（micro） scales, on architecture; it discusses dynamic and systematic thought, including such research elements as ＂Object-Subject-Time＂, and it reflects views on pattern and process of cultural landscape. Research on geo-architecture aims to help construct the security pattern of the cultural landscape for the new requirements of a new era, which is used to optimize spacial structure, stimulate heritage conservation and renewal, respect the geographical environment, pay attention to historical culture and sustain emotional memory.

The Moderating Effect of the Ski Resort Environment on the Skier’s Travel Radius under the Restriction of Skill Consumption

Starting from the skill characteristics of ski tourism,this paper discusses the impact of consumer skill on travel decisions,and the moderating effect of the ski resort’s comprehensive leisure environment(including the ski resort sports environment and the regional cultural tourism environment),in order to both understand their impacts on the travel distance characteristics of skiers and attempt to provide necessary research support for the development of China’s ski industry and the construction of destinations.Based on the data from multi-period visitor surveys,this paper constructs the consumption skill-travel radius decision-making influence model under the moderating effect of the ski resort comprehensive leisure environment.The results show three main characteristics.(1)The travel radius obviously differs among skiers with different skill levels.The skill level of skiers has a significant positive effect on the larger travel radius,and a significant negative effect on the smaller travel radius.That is,skiers with a higher skill level are more inclined to undertake long-distance skiing travel,while skiers with a lower skill level are more inclined to undertake short-distance skiing travel.(2)The comprehensive leisure environment has a significant moderating effect on the skiers’travel radius,with a significant positive impact on enlarging the travel radius,while the influences on high-skill and low-skill skiers are significantly higher than on middle-skill skiers.(3)In the comprehensive leisure environment,there are differences in the moderating effect of the ski resort sports environment and the regional cultural tourism environment on the skiers travel radius,and the positive moderating effect of the ski resort sports environment on the high-skill skiers’travel radius is more obvious.While the regional cultural tourism environment has a more obvious positive moderating effect on the travel radius of non-skiers and junior skiers,it is more conducive to promoting domestic travel.In general,the skier skill level in China was generally lower,and the ski resort comprehensive leisure environment optimization is conducive to overcoming the limitation of the travel radius caused by the disadvantageous skill level of consumers.However,to promote the development of China’s ski industry in the long run,it is necessary to focus on improving the consumer’s ski skill level,but prevent the risk of losing high-skill consumers overseas.In the course of improving the level of domestic ski sports facilities,we should also focus on the domestic leisure cultural tourism environment to better enhance the attractiveness of domestic ski destinations.
