(1988a,b,c, 1989a,b). The effects of peakness factor and water depth are discussed. In the case of deep water the e-quilibrium range is reduced to the form first proposed by Toba (1973) and the coefficient of the formula is shown to be the function of nondimensional fetch or peak frequency. This feature has been attributed to energy balance in spectral space by many researchers. In this paper we point out that white noise on an oscillation system can also lead to a similar inverse power law in the corresponding displacement spectrum, implying that the – 4 power law for the equilibrium range of wind wave spectra may probably only reflect the randomicity of the wind waves rather than any other dynamical processes in physical space. This explanation may shed light on the mechanism of other physical processes with spectra also showing an inverse power law, such as isotropic turbulence, internal waves, etc.展开更多

This research analyzed the influences of different energy quota allocation plans with various weights of equity and efficiency, using a dynamic computable general equilibrium(CGE) model for 30 province-level administrative regions. The results show that the efficiency-first allocation plan costs the least but widens regional income gap, whereas the outcomes of equity-first allocation plan and intensity target-based allocation plan are similar and are both opposite to the efficiency-first allocation plan′ outcome. The plan featuring a balance between efficiency and equity is more feasible, which can bring regional economic losses evenly and prevent massive interregional migration of energy-related industries. Furthermore, the effects of possible induced energy technology improvements in different energy quota allocation plans were studied. Induced energy technology improvements can add more feasibility to all allocation plans under the total energy consumption control policy. In the long term, if the policy of the total energy consumption control continues and more market-based tools are implemented to allocate energy quotas, the positive consequences of induced energy technology improvements will become much more obvious.展开更多

Whether the entire PCL should be retained during CR-TKA is controversial.AIM To evaluate the clinical outcomes of PCL preservation in CR-TKA and the methods used to deal with the PCL during surgery.METHODS A retrospective review of patients with osteoarthritis undergoing primary CRTKA(176 patients, 205 knees) in our institution between March 2012 and March 2014 was performed. A PCL protector was used to preserve the intact PCL bone block. The status of the PCL was recorded during surgery. Intact PCL preserved,pie-crusting and repairing were used to balance the tension of the PCL. Range of motion(ROM) and the Knee Society Clinical Rating system(KSS) were evaluated preoperatively and at the endpoint of follow-up.RESULTS The mean ROM of the knee was 103.2 ± 17.2°, KSS clinical score was 47.6 ± 9.5 and KSS functional score was 46.3 ± 11.9 before surgery. The mean ROM of the knee was 117.5 ± 9.7°, KSS clinical score was 89.2 ± 3.6 and KSS functional score was 84.6 ± 9.8 at 5 years follow-up. ROM, KSS clinical scores and KSS functional scores were significantly improved after surgery(P < 0.01). Thirty-two(23.7%)TKAs involved PCL pie-crusting and 18(13.3%) involved PCL repair. Eighty-five(63.0%) TKAs applied standard operating procedures and preserved intact PCL.At 5 years follow-up, in the intact PCL group, the mean ROM of the knee was 118.0 ± 8.3°, KSS clinical score was 89.1 ± 3.7 and KSS functional score was 84.9 ±9.6. In the PCL pie-crusting group, mean ROM of the knee was 114.0 ± 13.5°, KSS clinical score was 88.8 ± 3.4 and KSS functional score was 83.8 ± 10.5. In the PCL repair group, mean ROM of the knee was 120.3 ± 7.0°, KSS clinical score was 89.0± 3.6 and KSS functional score was 89.4 ± 4.5. There were no significant differences in ROM, KSS clinical scores and KSS functional scores among the three groups(P > 0.05).CONCLUSION The clinical outcomes of preserving the PCL in CR-TKA are encouraging. Piecrusting and PCL repair do not affect the function. The PCL protector effectively protected the PCL bone block.展开更多

The goal of this experiment is to study the reaction rate of 18Ne(,p)21Na reaction, which mightbe a key breakout reaction from the hot CNO cycle to rp-process in X-ray burst and nova. Yet its reaction rate ispoorly known.Explosive hydrogen burning is thought to be the main source of energy generation and a source of nucleosynthesisin X-ray burst and nova[1;2]. For example, XRBs are characterized by a sudden increase of X-ray emission withinonly a few seconds to a total energy output of about 1040 ergs, which is observed to repeat with some regularity. The recurrence time for single bursts can range from hours to days at the typical temperature of 0.4~2 GK. Thebursts have been interpreted as being generated by thermonuclear runaway on the surface of a neutron star thataccretes H- and He-rich material from a less evolved companion star in a close binary system. As shown in Fig. 1,under its typical temperature, the hydrogen burning in X-ray burst occurs from the hot CNO cycle:展开更多

Using the joint distribution of wave periods and heights proposed earlier by the second author, the authors define the generalized apparnt energy distribution and derive the analytical form of the so called generalized outer frequency spectrum or nth-order frequency spectrum. Some possible relationships between it and the Fourier frequency spectrum are discussed. It is shown that the widely used Bretschneider spectrum can be easily obtained from the above definition and that generalized outer frequency spectrum has equilibrium range with exponent -(n+3) whose upper limit is -3.展开更多

Strong convergence of the sequence generated by thesealgorithms is proved in uniformly smooth and strictly convex real Banach spaces with Kadec-Klee property. Furthermore, several applications of our theorems are also presented. Finally, our theorems are significant improvements on several important recent results for this classof nonlinear problems.展开更多

The incident beam energies ranged from 114MeV to 127MeV in steps of 200keV. The angular analysis region was continuous from 50°to 90°in the center of mass system. An angular coherent width, at least 4n° was obtained. This long-range angular correlation could not be interpreted in the framework of the standard statistical reaction theory with state of equilibrium or near equilibrium, maybe it reveals the formation of a new kind of dissipative structure in the reaction of 27Al+27AI with the state that is far from equilibrium.展开更多
