A Probe into C-E Translation of Publicity Materials of Red Tourism in Hu.nan Province

Hunan Province is rich in red tourism resources, and many scenic spots in the region proudly echo the glory of China's revolutionary history. Publicity materials of red tourism in Hunan Province play the role of publicizing and promoting historical sites and places linked with China's revolutionary history. However, at present the C-E translation of publicity materials of red tourism in Hunan province is far from satisfaction. Reasonable application of eco-translatology in C-E translation of publicity materials of red tourism in Hunan Province will allow the translator to enjoy a much greater degree of flexibility in translating and produce appropriate translation which produce functionally the same effect on the target readers as the original on the readers.

On C-E Translation of Chinese Tang Poetry from the Perspective of Ecotranslatology

Tang poetry is a shining pearl in the history of Chinese literature.C-E translation of Tang poetry is regarded as a very complex and hard task because of its special style and form,concise diction and profound artistic conception.Eco-translatology provides a new perspective for the study on C-E translation of Tang poetry.Based on analysis of some practical examples,this paper discusses some C-E translation methods of tang poetry from the perspective of eco-translatology,namely,adaptive transformation from linguistic,cultural and communicative dimensions.

Eriocalyxin B Inhibits Adipogenesis in 3T3-L1 Adipocytes by Cell Cycle Arrest

Eriocalyxin B,an ent-Kaurene diterpenoid extracted from a traditional Chinese herb Isodon eriocalyx,has been shown to possess multifunctional activities such as anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory.However,the function and mechanism of the compound in adipocyte differentiation is still unknown.Here we reported that eriocalyxin B blunted adipogenesis remarkably by inhibiting the accumulation of lipid droplets,triglycerides and the expressions of adipogenesis-related factors,including C/EBPβ,C/EBPα,PPARγ,and FABP4.Moreover,we showed that the inhibition might be the consequence of cell cycle being arrested at the G2/M phase during the mitotic clonal expansion of adipocyte differentiation,most likely by suppress-ing mRNAs and proteins of CDK1,CDK2,Cyclin A and Cyclin B1.Overall,we conclude that eriocalyxin B is capable of inhibiting adipocyte differentiation at the early stage through downregulating the proteins involved in cell cycle progression.

Discussion on Adjustments of Redundancies in C-E Interpretation

Information redundancy is one of the important factors of successful language communication.It makes the implications more obvious and clearly,which helps the receiver get enough information,making the interpreters complete the task successfully.However,if an interpreter just translates the Information redundancy without any adjustment in C-E interpretation,it will cause the overloads or loss of information which will affect a successful communication.The article discussed the ways to adjust Information redundancy in C-E interpretation in order to achieve dynamic redundancy equivalence through practices and examples.

Mechanisms of eriocalyxin B on antileukemia activity by human cDNA microarray

OBJECTIVE Eriocalyxin B(EriB)is a natural diterpenoid purified fromIsodoneriocalyxvar.laxiflora,traditional Chinese herbal medicines,possesses strong antileukemic activity with low toxicity.In murine t(8;21)leukemia models,EriB remarkably prolong the survival time and decreased the xenograft tumor size by targeting AML1-ETO oncoprotein.In angiogenesis research by the highly vascularized chorioallantoic membrane(CAM)of the chicken embryo further confirm its antiangiogenic activity.Microarray offers a high efficient approach to study the gene expression profile treated by EriB,so as to provide systematic information about potential mechanisms of EriB curing AML.METHODS The t(8;21)AML cell line Kasumi-1 is most sensitive to EriB.Cells are treated with Eri-B(0.5μmol·L-1)and collected in 2,6,12 and 24h,respectively.Using human cDNA microarray,we investigate the changes of differential gene expression of Kasumi-1cells by time before and after Eri-B treatment.Meanwhile,the mRNA expression of TRAF2,DEDD2,BAG3,SAT1,IQGAP1,C-myc and GRB2 is detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR and real-time quantitative PCR.RESULTS The genes regulated significantly are correlated with cell proliferation,apoptosis,cell circle,regulation of transcription,response to stimulies and metabolism.Regulation of TNFR mediated apoptotic signaling by EriB plays a key role to induce apoptosis and cell circle,involved NF-κB,Ras-MAPK,cAMP/PKA,PI3K/Akt,Cyt c/caspase and p53-Rb signal pathways.After detected by SqRT-PCR and real-time quantitative PCR,the mRNA expressions of BAG3,DEDD2,SAT1 and C-myc are significantly changed.CONCLUSION These findings describes the probable mechanisms involved and the value of EriB as a promising candidate targeting apoptosis cascade and cell circle in treatment of AML.

On the C-E Translation of Cultural Information in Tourist Publicity Materials

Chinese scholar Qiu Maoru points out that the aim of translation is,partly,to establish cultural equivalence between the source text and the target text.He also argues that whether or how to establish cultural equivalence depends on the following four factors:1) the type of source text;2) the significance of cultural flavor in the source text;3) the purpose of translation;4) the type of readers of the target text.This theory provides a good perspective for the C-E translation of cultural information in Tourist Publicity Materials.Under the guidance of this theory,this paper attempts to explore the methods of establishing cultural equivalence in translation of Tourist Publicity Materials.

A Study on C-E Translation of Product Introductory Texts on Company Websites Under Skopos Theory

This paper takes the C-E translation of product introductory texts on official websites of three mobile phone makers as the study object under the Skopos theory, with an aim to identify and analyze the distinctive translation features of such special type of text. The exhausted parse and analysis bring out the findings that there exists a significant translation difference between the Chinese and English-version product introductory texts on official websites. It is found that Chinese introductory texts are more inclined to rely on exquisite words and redundant expressions to describe products’ features and functions, while switching to the corresponding English version, simple vocabularies and compact sentence structure are more frequent. Hereafter, this paper raises two practical guidelines to instruct translation activities in business contexts.

Role of Natural Product Eriocalyxin B in Promoting Apoptosis of Colon Cancer Cells through ERK1/2 Pathway

[Objectives] To investigate the role of Eriocalyxin B (EriB) in promoting colon cancer cell apoptosis through ERK1/2 pathway in vitro, and to provide a natural candidate drug for colon cancer treatment. [Methods] Colon cancer cells treated with different concentrations of EriB were detected by CCK-8 assay;cell scratch assay and crystal violet staining were used to detect the invasion and migration of colon cancer cell;cell apoptosis was detected by Annexin V/PI double staining, and cell cycle was detected by PI staining;Western Blotting was used to detect epithelial-mesenchymal transition and apoptosis-related proteins in colon cancer cells treated with EriB. [Results] After EriB treatment, the proliferation, migration and apoptosis of colon cancer cells were significantly inhibited, and the ratio of P-ERK1/2 to ERK was significantly decreased. [Conclusions] EriB can effectively inhibit the proliferation of colon cancer cells and promote the apoptosis of colon cancer cells through ERK1/2 pathway.

C-E进针手法在肝硬化患者静脉留置针穿刺中的应用

目的:探究肝硬化患者静脉留置针穿刺中应用C-E进针手法的效果。方法:选取2020年1-12月福建医科大学孟超肝胆医院接收肝硬化长期输液患者158例作为研究对象。采用数字表法将其分为对照组(n=79)和观察组(n=79)。对照组采取常规进针手法行静脉留置针穿刺,观察组采取C-E进针手法行静脉留置针穿刺。比较两组一次穿刺成功率、平均留置时间、不同时间段(第1、2、3、4天)留置针留置状况及穿刺满意度。结果:观察组一次穿刺成功率高于对照组(P<0.05);观察组静脉留置针平均留置时间长于对照组(P<0.05);观察组第3、4天留置针留置状况均优于对照组(P<0.05);观察组穿刺总满意度高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:在肝硬化患者静脉留置针穿刺中,采用C-E进针手法效果显著,可提升一次穿刺成功率,延长留置针留置时间,且患者对进针手法满意度高,值得推广。

On C-E Translation Strategies and Methods of Zhiba Culture for Global Communication

A Contrastive Study on the C-E Translation of the Verb of Perception zhijian from the Perspective of Subjective Consciousness and Objective Consciousness

Verbs of perception include sight,hearing,smell,taste and touch,of which zhijian belongs to sight is very common in literary works,and its semantic meaning also begins to change with the development of time.Based on the original text and two translated versions of the Water Margin,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the translation strategies of zhijian on the basis that Chinese emphasizes subjective consciousness and the mixed consciousness of subjectivity and objectivity,while English stresses objective consciousness with a clear boundary between subjectivity and objectivity.According to previous studies,this paper regroups the appearance of zhijian and divides it into two categories,namely zhijian at the beginning of a sentence and at the beginning of a minor sentence.On the basis of the context and the changing function of zhijian,that is,the function of being a verb and being a discourse marker,it can be concluded that as the meaning of a verb,the real action,the meaning of zhijian is expressed by“seeing”,so translators usually adopt literal translation;while as a discourse marker,it is no longer the main component of sentence structure,but to highlight the following information,translators will adopt deletion,conversion and retaining.It can be seen that translators often need to convert Chinese characterized by subjective consciousness into English dominated by objective consciousness,thus conforming to various meaning of zhijian.
