Learner Language Analysis of the Use of“Past Tense”

The study focuses on uses of different category of verbs in two learners’writing about the events happened in the past.The results suggest that errors of past tense include:present tense used instead of past tense,overuse of past tense,misuse of verb’s past tense form,perfect used instead of past,and be added before verb instead of past.The results of errors for each verb category are that states and activities are made more errors in past tense expressions,and there was little difference between states and activities.

中国学生英语动词使用错误研究——基于语料库的实证研究

在中国学习者英语语料库中,动词错误率达到15.1%,是名词错误率的两倍(8.34%)之多,居各类词汇错误之首。鉴于此,在错误分析理论的指导下作者对中国学习者英语语料库中的动词错误展开了实证研究。研究的结论将有助于英语动词教学的实行。

非谓语动词结构的写译策略探究

大学生英文写作和汉译英中许多语言错误都可归因为非谓语动词结构即不定式、-ing分词和-ed分词的漏用和误用。其中最突出的错误是一个句子里有多个动词同时出现,导致句子有两个或多个谓语动词。因此从有意识地试图去运用、尽量正确地运用、巧妙多变地运用非谓语动词结构等三个层面来逐步提高非谓语动词结构的使用频率,达到像英语母语者那样的熟练程度,不愧为一条行之有效、必不可少的英语写译策略。
