To study the indoor air qualities(IAQ)of large commercial office buildings in Hunan province of China and the corresponding improvement methods,the IAQ of a large commercial office building in Changsha in July,2008,...To study the indoor air qualities(IAQ)of large commercial office buildings in Hunan province of China and the corresponding improvement methods,the IAQ of a large commercial office building in Changsha in July,2008,is investigated.A questionnaire survey and field tests are used to collect data.According to the data of twelve rooms in this building,objective evaluation and the subjective evaluation of the IAQ are obtained.Almost all of the environmental parameters in these rooms basically meet the standards of the objective evaluation.But the average concentration of carbon dioxide in most rooms cannot reach the value of the cleanliness standards,1 255 mg/m^3.The average acceptability of the IAQ in these rooms is 71%,which is lower than the value of the ASHRAE 55—1992 standards,80%.The proper increase in the wind speed and the indoor fresh air supply can greatly improve the objective evaluation and the subjective evaluation of the IAQ.展开更多

The methods of fuzzy techniques, neural networks, classical factorial analysis and other data analysis are used in the system to analyze the objective and subjective data, and to build the relationship between them. Given the objective data of a new fabric sample, the system can provide its sensory hand data and its total hand grade. In meantime, the total hand grade can be obtained directly from the sensory fabric hand data if provided. [ Method] Depending on analyses of the radar observation data, hail shooting data and artificial hail suppression operation data in the middle region of Inner Mongolia ( represented by Huhhot) from 1990 to 2007, and combining capability of the artificial hail suppression operation tool (" 37" anti-aircraft gun), nucleation rate of the catalyst and suitable catalyst volume in hail cloud per unit volume, objective evaluation of the manner and effect for artificial hail suppression operation in the area was obtained. [ Result] It was exacter to distinguish shape and intensity of the hail cloud, but it was uncertain to distinguish height of the hail cloud, when selecting operation target cloud. Operation height was still lower, and perfect seeding height couldn't be attained. Operation occasion was controlled well, but there still were phenomena of the late operation. Shell amounts of the operation were few obviously, needing to increase shell amount or to improve nucleation rate of the catalyst. [ Conclsion] Syntheti- cally, manner of the artificial hail suppression operation in central Inner Mongolia was suitable, and total efficiency was about 85%.展开更多

Firstly, ...In order to solve the problem of complicated fabric texture interference on the pilling segmentation during the objective evaluation of fabric pilling, a new method of pilling image acquisition was proposed. Firstly, multi-direction lights were projected on the pilled fabric surface and its pilling images were captured, which mixed with invariant fabric background texture and pilling profile information modulated by the variant light projections. The captured fabric pilling images were analyzed by independent component analysis method. Using the spectrum feature analysis method, the independent components belonging to the complicated fabric background texture were separated and the pilling images are reconstructed with the left components. The experimental results showed that this method can effectively separate the pilling image from complicated fabric texture, which provides one possibility for colored fabric pilling objective evaluation.展开更多

Three groups were compared (N = 70): mutation carriers with less than 12.5 years to disease onset (n = 16), mutation carriers with 12.5 or more years to disease onset (n = 16), and noncarriers (n = 38). Episodic memory was assessed using the Fuld Object Memory Evaluation, which included multimodal presentation and selective reminding, and the Claeson-Dahl Learning Test which included verbal repeated presentation and recall trials. Both carrier groups demonstrated deficient episodic memory compared to noncarriers. The results suggest deficient episodic memory in prodromal HD, and that inconsistent retrieval contributes to these deficits. Multimodal presentation attenuates the deficits.展开更多

However, they fuse appearance...Current mainstream unsupervised video object segmentation(UVOS) approaches typically incorporate optical flow as motion information to locate the primary objects in coherent video frames. However, they fuse appearance and motion information without evaluating the quality of the optical flow. When poor-quality optical flow is used for the interaction with the appearance information, it introduces significant noise and leads to a decline in overall performance. To alleviate this issue, we first employ a quality evaluation module(QEM) to evaluate the optical flow. Then, we select high-quality optical flow as motion cues to fuse with the appearance information, which can prevent poor-quality optical flow from diverting the network's attention. Moreover, we design an appearance-guided fusion module(AGFM) to better integrate appearance and motion information. Extensive experiments on several widely utilized datasets, including DAVIS-16, FBMS-59, and You Tube-Objects, demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms existing methods.展开更多
Objective To analyze the characteristics of tongue imaging color parameters in patients treated with percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)and non-PCI for coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CHD),and to observethe...Objective To analyze the characteristics of tongue imaging color parameters in patients treated with percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)and non-PCI for coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CHD),and to observethe effects of PCI on the tongue images of patients as a basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of patientswith CHD.Methods This study used a retrospective cross-sectional survey to analyze tongue photographs and medicalhistory information from 204 patients with CHD between November 2018 and July 2020.Tongue images ofeach subject were obtained using the Z-BOX Series traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)intelligent diagnosisinstruments,the SMX System 2.0 was used to transform the image data into parameters in the HSV color space,and finally the parameters of the tongue image between patients in the PCI-treated and non-PCI-treated groupsfor CHD were analyzed.Results Among the 204 patients,112 were in the non-PCI treatment group(38 men and 74 women;average age of(68.76±9.49)years),92 were in the PCI treatment group(66 men and 26 women;average age of(66.02±10.22)years).In the PCI treatment group,the H values of the middle and tip of the tongue and the overall coating of thetongue were lower(P<0.05),while the V values of the middle,tip,both sides of the tongue,the whole tongueand the overall coating of the tongue were higher(P<0.05).Conclusion The color parameters of the tongue image could reflect the physical state of patients treated withPCI,which may provide a basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients with CHD.展开更多

This paper describes a structural similarity metric that does not use a reference image for image fusion evaluations. The metric is based on the universal image quality index and addresses not only the similarities between the input images and the fused image, but also the similarities among the input images. The evaluation process distinguishes between complementary information and redundant information using similarities among the input images. The metric uses the information classification to estimate how much structural similarity is preserved in the fused image. Tests demonstrate that the metric correlates well with subjective evaluations of the fused images.展开更多

Visual performance can be measured electrophysiologically with VEP, which reflects the objective func- tion from the retina to the primary visual cortex. The VEP ts without and with AO correction were preliminarily carried out using this system, demonstrating the great potential of this system in the objective visual performance evaluation. At first, the speech signal is decomposed in frequency domain using an auditory filter-bank. Then, the sample-based features, namely cumulative energy and its increment speed, in each band were computed. Finally, using principle component analysis, these features were fused into one combined feature vector for assessment. Since the algorithm is based on perceptual properties of human auditory ear using non-uniform and multi-band analysis, the improvements of the consistence between the proposed approach and subjective evaluation are obtained.展开更多
