The primary reasons of excess capacity of Chinese traditional manufacturing industry are the discordant between consumption and investment, the irrational industrial structure, export is not ideal and other causes. Overcapacity of traditional manufacturing industry will lead to business failures, unemployment citizen, deflation, financial risk and other series consequences. We should learn from foreign experience in the processing of excess capacity of traditional manufacturing industry and deal with excess capacity of traditional manufacturing industry in different aspects, so as to ensure stable and healthy development of our country' s economy.展开更多
In order to improve the thermal properties of coke, an industrial experiment on the coke spraying with ZBS additive solution was carried out at coking plant and No. 6 blast furnace (2 000 m^3 ) of Kunming Iron and S...In order to improve the thermal properties of coke, an industrial experiment on the coke spraying with ZBS additive solution was carried out at coking plant and No. 6 blast furnace (2 000 m^3 ) of Kunming Iron and Steel Co Ltd. The coke reaction index (CRI) of the coke spraying with ZBS additive solution decreases by 10. 56 %, and the coke strength after reaction (CSR) increases by 7.80% in comparison with those of the un-sprayed coke. During the experiment, the average iron output increases by 66. 69 t/d, and the coke rate is reduced by 5. 21 kg per ton iron, while the fluctuation of furnace temperture is small, and sulphur content in hot metal and 100% of hot metal are acceptable.展开更多
Copper electrolyte was purified by copper arsenite that was prepared with As2O3.And electrolysis experiments of purified electrolyte were carried out at 235 and 305 A/m2,respectively.The results show that the yield of...Copper electrolyte was purified by copper arsenite that was prepared with As2O3.And electrolysis experiments of purified electrolyte were carried out at 235 and 305 A/m2,respectively.The results show that the yield of copper arsenite is up to 98.64% when the molar ratio of Cu to As is 1.5 in the preparation of copper arsenite.The removal rates of Sb and Bi reach 74.11% and 65.60% respectively after copper arsenite is added in electrolyte.The concentrations of As,Sb and Bi in electrolyte nearly remain constant during electrolysis of 13 d.The appearances of cathode copper obtained at 235 and 305 A/m2 are slippery and even,and the qualification rate is 100% according to the Chinese standard of high-pure cathode copper(GB/T467-97).展开更多

Production parameters of a local steel bar manufacturing industry of Pakistan is optimized by using six Sigma-Define, measure,...Optimization of a manufacturing process results in higher productivity and reduced wastes. Production parameters of a local steel bar manufacturing industry of Pakistan is optimized by using six Sigma-Define, measure, analyze, improve, and controlmethodology. Production data is collected and analyzed. After analysis, experimental design result is used to identify significant factors affecting process performance. The significant factors are controlled to optimized level using two-level factorial design method. A regression model is developed that helps in the estimation of response under multi variable input values. Model is tested, verified, and validated by using industrial data collected at a local steel bar manufacturing industry of Peshawar(Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan). The sigma level of the manufacturing process is improved to 4.01 from 3.58. The novelty of the research is the identification of the significant factors along with the optimum levels that affects the process yield, and the methodology to optimize the steel bar manufacturing process.展开更多
