Exploration on Teaching Reform of Medical Functional Experimental Science for International Students

Medical Functional Experiment Science, a bridge between basic medicine and clinical medicine, integrates classical experimental teaching contents of three courses including physiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology. This course not only helps students to verify and reinforce theoretical knowledge, but also cultivates their capability of scientific thinking to discover and solve problems. Based on the characteristics of international students and current situation of the teaching platform in the laboratory at Yangtze University, this paper discusses a series of problems in the Medical Functional Experiment Science teaching for international students and puts forward some measures for teaching reform including optimizing experimental content, innovating experimental teaching methods and establishing effective experimental evaluation mode, in order to cultivate more international medical students with innovative ability.

Teaching Experiment in Engineering Mechanics Based on Simulation Technology:A Case Study

This paper explores the integration of simulation technology in Engineering Mechanics(EM)teaching in vocational colleges.A case study was conducted using the tensile test as an example,and digital resources,such as colored Mises stress nephograms,were obtained.These resources were integrated into the original curriculum to conduct teaching experiments.The results show that the use of digital resources significantly improved the quality of teaching in EM.The integration of simulation technology in EM teaching provides a promising direction for the improvement of vocational education and the cultivation of high-quality skilled talents.The development and application of more simulation-based teaching cases should be studied by scholars.

Reform and Practice of University Physics Experimental Teaching Based on OBE Concept

Aiming at the problems of unclear teaching objectives,obsolete content,and single method in the experimental teaching of university physics at our university,we have implemented a series of reform initiatives.It mainly includes clarifying the student-centered teaching objectives,optimizing the experimental content,innovating the teaching methods,improving the assessment and evaluation system,and improving the experimental conditions[1,2].After the implementation of the reform,the learning effectiveness of students has been significantly improved,the teaching level of teachers has been significantly enhanced,the curriculum system has been optimized,the efficiency of teaching management has been enhanced,and social recognition has been strengthened.Practice shows that the teaching reform based on the outcome-based education concept effectively improves the quality of university physics experimental teaching and lays the foundation for cultivating innovative talents.

Construction and Practice of First-Class Courses on Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching of Urban Overpasses

Virtual simulation experiment,as a new way to promote the digital transformation of education,has a broad development prospect and application value.The civil engineering experimental volume and space are huge,it has a long construction period,is highly dangerous,and is difficult to experiment with.In order to solve the contradiction between the traditional theory teaching of civil engineering and the engineering training of students,the construction of virtual simulation experimental teaching courses with a high degree of realism,intuition,and accuracy can be used as a useful supplement and innovation of experimental and practical teaching.This paper takes the virtual simulation experimental teaching course of urban overpasses as an example,introduces the necessity and practicability of the course construction,and describes the experimental principle structure of the course,the simulation scene design,the experimental teaching process,the experimental method,etc.The course has achieved good application results,and it has been recognized as the first-class virtual simulation teaching course of the Chongqing Municipal Government,which provides certain references to the construction of the same type of courses in the civil engineering profession.

Research on the Digital Transformation of English Teaching in Vocational Education

With the advancement of technology,exploring the impact of digital transformation on vocational education English teaching has become crucial.This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of digital transformation in English teaching in vocational education in China by exploring students’and teachers’attitudes,views,and experiences on the use of digital technology in English teaching.This study employed a mixed method of qualitative and quantitative analysis.The research results indicate that digital transformation has had a positive impact on vocational education English teaching,as it enhances the teaching process,promotes communication and collaboration,and increases students’enthusiasm and participation.However,implementing digital transformation in vocational education English teaching also poses challenges,including a lack of resources,infrastructure,and training.This study provides an in-depth understanding of the advantages and challenges of digital transformation in vocational education English teaching and proposes strategies to improve the implementation of digital technology in this context.

Railway Engineering Experimental Teaching Research Based on the Combination of Field Experiment and Virtual Reality(VR)Technology——Taking Central South University as an Example

At present,rail transit is developing rapidly in the world,and this means new and changing requirements for the training of talents in railway engineering experiments.Given the current problems of limited laboratory/field instruments for railway engineering experimentsand the safety/administrative difficulties of going to the frontline of railway lines to teach railway engineering experiemnts in the field,the Department of Railway Engineering of Central South University tried to introduce virtual reality(VR)technology to teach students experiments in the field of railway engineering.Through the virtualized experimental methods,students can carry out railway engineering experiments such as;vehicle wheel pair off-axis experiments,track geometry and position detection,etc.by immersive means.It was observed that after performing virtual simulation experiments,students appeared conversant in subsequent field experiments.Thus,VR greatly improves the teaching efficiency of railway engineering experiments.

Research and Exploration on Ideological and Political Theories Teaching in the Course of Soil Science Experiment:Taking Pingdingshan University as an Example

Experimental course is an important link of ideological and political education in colleges and universities under the new situation,and plays an important role in the construction of ideological and political theories teaching in the course.Taking Pingdingshan University as an example,by introducing the real soil cases in Pingdingshan area,the ideological and political elements of the course are integrated into the teaching links of laboratory safety training,self-study before class,experimental teaching implementation,evaluation and improvement.By implementing the concept of"All-round Education"in experimental teaching,we are committed to realizing the comprehensive coverage of value shaping,knowledge inheritance and ability training,and explore and practice the reform of ideological and political theories teaching in the course of Soil Science Experiment.

Application of Intravenous Indwelling Needle in Undergraduate's Pharmacology Teaching Experiment

In this study,an intravenous indwelling needle was placed in the central artery of rabbit ear for collecting blood.The results show that this method greatly improves the success rate of blood sampling and well controls the experimental time.The students'unanimous feedback was that the method is simple and easy to operate,which is of great help to the stability of the experimental results.

A Teaching Experiment between Design Concept and Structural Behaviour： Full-Scale Constructions in a Second-Year Studio

Consciousness is the main quality one can ask architecture students. Consciousness means the ability to recognize that the design process is a ＂problem solving＂ activity and not an exercise of uncontrolled imagination. In architectural education, small structures are a common subject in American and European universities where the inductive teaching is practiced routinely. This teaching experiment is developed within a design studio course in the second year of an architecture degree course and regards design and construction of a small bridge l：l scale. The exercises focus on the role of structural behaviour within architectural design. The teaching method contributes to the perception of the great complexity of the design process, to the acquisition of an attitude of prudence in design choices and to attention to detail in the development of creativity.

Reform of Paleontology Experiment Teaching for Geology Majors

Due to the development of science and technology and the transformation of society’s demand for talents of geology majors,many changes have taken place in the arrangement of teaching hours and teaching content of paleontology experiment teaching.The paleontology experiment teaching of geology majors has problems such as unreasonable experiment design,no independent experiment arrangement,single teaching method,absence of experiment contents,etc.the article believes that the reform should be made in the following aspects:setting up independent experiment teaching arrangement,improvement of experiment teaching design,continuing to improve the laboratory hardware and software construction,reform of teaching methods.

An Experimental Module in the Teaching of Genetics,with a Special Reference to Reform and Innovation in Genetics Experiments

Genetics is a major course in Life Sciences,and also a basic course in other disciplines or specialties,such as Agricultural Sciences,Medical Sciences and etc.Genetic experiments are not only the important content of the undergraduate teaching in Life Science but also the most common and efficient teaching approach in Life Science.Based on an introduction to reform and innovation of genetics experiment instruction,this article aims at discussing how to classify experimental modules and teaching practices.In our experimental test,the whole experiments consist of three modules:general experiments,integrated experiments,and research-based experiments.The research-based experiment is given as an instance.We herein figure out the instruction of experiment contents and guidance of learning methods,corresponding to various requirements in different teaching stage.In our opinion,post-graduates can act as teaching-assistants,which will facilitate undergraduates to participate in genetic experiments,improve their ability to operate by hand,and foster their innovative consciousness and scientific-thinking ability.

Survey and Analysis on Present Situation of Biological Experiment Teaching in Some Middle Schools in Yangjiang Area

Experimental teaching is an important part of biology teaching in middle school.In the form of questionnaire,this paper conducts a survey on some leading teachers of biology in the middle schools in the Yangjiang area about the biological experiment teaching in the implementation of the new curriculum,and analyzes the results of the survey.The problems and deficiencies in the implementation of biological experiment teaching in some middle schools in this area are found,and the relevant reform measures and suggestions are put forward in order to promote the better development of biological experiment teaching in middle schools.

New Mode in Parasites Experimental Teaching --Application and Experience of Interactive Teaching with Digital Microscope System

In order to improve the parasites experimental teaching quality, Digital Microscope System is used to replace the ordinary optical microscope in the teaching of eggs, imagoes, and tissue slices. The new model of experimental teaching, integrating modem information technology into the parasite experimental teaching, gives full play to the students＇ learning enthusiasm, initiative and creativity and improves the quality of experimental teaching. Research on Experimental Teaching Reform of Railway Engineering under the Training of International Students

The railway engineering major shows extremely strong applicability,with the internationalization of railway engineering teaching and communication,how to solve the problem of cultivating the international students of the railway engineering major experimental teaching is a core problem that the railway engineering majors in universities need to solve at this stage.Through reform,a new type of experimental teaching system for railway engineering specialty was constructed,that is,the experimental course system and content system determined by the international students training program were taken as the core,the construction of teachers,experimental facilities,practice bases and other conditions as the basis,and the system construction and operation organization to build an organic whole composed of four elements for guarantee.It is closely integrated with the theoretical teaching system and relatively independent.It guarantees the realization of the goal of international students training.And it can integrate and optimize the experimental teaching links,content,methods and evaluation system,and build a“gradual experimentprofessional experiment-comprehensive experiment”progressive gradient experiment teaching system.Form a benign pattern of collaborative training of laboratories,practice bases and scientific research bases,mutual promotion of teaching and scientific research,and effectively promote the improvement of students’experimental innovation ability.

Exploration of Ideology and Politics Teaching in Vehicle Engineering Experiment Course

Under the background of"Outstanding Engineer Education and Training Program"and ideology and politics teaching in course,it has become a training goal for colleges and universities to cultivate an engineer with both political integrity and talent.However,it is necessary for colleges and universities to explore and practice how to combine the two skillfully without being abrupt and make students accept them.From the point of view of vehicle engineering experiment course and combining with the current situation of university teaching,this paper makes an in-depth exploration and practice on the ideological and political reform on vehicle engineering experiment course.

A Teaching Experiment in Modelling through Scale Reduction Methods： A Bridge to Later Trigonometric Methods

In a teaching experiment, Japanese Grade 9 students investigated how to measure the height of an aerial balloon using different models involving angles and distances, and also to evaluate the models they developed. As novices to mathematical modelling, they needed to decide which of several possible models were both valid and practicable, and the errors in measurement that are likely to arise. Opportunities to construct and use paper models, as scale reductions of the real situation, and discussing their results in small groups were effective in moving forward the thinking of many students on the dimensions mentioned above. While students were less able to identify different sources of errors, many came to appreciate the need to learn trigonometric techniques that are more suitable in dealing with problems of this kind.

Micro-polymer Chemistry Experiment Teaching Research

For nearly thirty years, there has been made great progress in micro-polymer chemistry experiment teaching which has these characteristics that using less reagents, less pollution and more portable in comparison with the conventional experiment. In China, Zhou Ninghuai and others began to go on micro-scale experiment research firstly and Professor Li Qingshan who brought this innovation to polymer organic synthesis experiment has done a lot of works in micro-polymer chemistry experiment teaching. To carry out the study of micro-polymer chemistry experiments not only accords with teaching methods and reform, but also conforms to the trend of the times of green chemistry. So the research and application of micro-polymer chemistry experiment have broad prospects.

Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Platform Based on 3R-4A Computer System

Virtual simulation experiment teaching gradually becomes the trend of the computer-related education practice.Through analyzing the problems existed in current computer experiment teaching,this paper proposes the idea of building virtual simulation experiment platform based on 3R-4A computer system and clarifies the design technology,including frame,characteristic and innovation,resource sharing and management,condition protection and so on.

Experiment Combined with Picture Archiving and Communication System in the Practical Teaching of Medical Imaging

Objective:To explore the application effect of virtual simulation experiment combined with picture archiving and communication system(PACS)in medical imaging practical teaching.Methods:97 students from the medical imaging class of 2022 were divided into two groups;the control group(n=48)was taught by the traditional teaching method,whereas the research group was taught by virtual simulation experiment combined with PACS(n=49).The teaching achievements and teaching effects of the two groups were compared to define the advantages of the two teaching modes.Results:Initially,there were no significant differences in the basic theory,image analysis,report writing,and differential diagnosis scores between the two groups of students(P>0.05);however,after 16 weeks of teaching,the scores of the research group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05);the pass rate of students in the study group(93.88%)was higher than that in the control group(81.25%);the scores of students in the research group in terms of clinical inquiry skills,X-ray/computed tomography/magnetic resonance imaging(X-ray/CT/MRI)operation skills,and doctor-patient communication skills were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In medical imaging practical teaching,the application of virtual simulation experiment combined with PACS can effectively address several problems in the traditional teaching mode,including the single teaching method,the single teaching content,and the lack of innovation,and,at the same time,improve students’basic theoretical knowledge,X-ray/CT/MRI operation skills,consultation skills,and doctor-patient communication skills,thereby effectively improving the teaching quality and learning effect.
