The results show that, the modulation instability characteristics here are similar to those of conventional saturable nonlinearity and Kerr nonlinearity. That is to say, when the fourth-order dispersion has the same sign as that of the second-order one, a new gain spectral region called the second one which is far away from the zero point may appear. The existence of the exponential saturable nonlinearity will make the spectral width as well as the peak gain of every spectral region increase with the input powers before decrease. Namely, for every spectral regime, this may lead to a unique value of peak gain and spectral width for two different input powers. In comparison with the case of conventional saturable nonlinearity, however, when the other parameters are the same, the variations of the spectral width and the peak gain with the input powers will be faster in case of exponential saturable nonlinearity.展开更多

By the HB-AFT method, a rigid rotor supported by ball bearings with nonlinearity of Hertz contact and ball passage vibrations is considered. With the aid of the Floquet theory, the movement characteristics of interval stability are deeply studied. The authors show that the case deletion model is equivalent to mean shift outlier model. From this point of view, several diagnostic measures, such as Cook distance, score statistics are derived. The local influence measure of Cook is also presented. Numerical example illustrates that our method is available.展开更多

The stochastic expansions relating to the estimate are derived and are used to study several asymptotic inference problems. The biases and the covariances relating to the estimate may be calculated based on the expansions. The information loss of the estimate and a limit theorem connected with the observed and expected Fisher informations are obtained in terms of the curvatures.展开更多
