Not only is there a great disparity in average life expectancy, but also the gender difference is positive and negative, and is distributed in a bipolar distribution of “long life in rich countries and short life in poor countries”. This paper analyzes the factors affecting the life grade by using the ordered multivariate discrete selection model and combined with the average life expectancy data of countries all over the world in 2017. The test results show that: 1) The growth of per capita GDP, elderly dependency ratio and the proportion of people using at least basic drinking water services can effectively improve the level of life expectancy;2) The birth rate has an inhibitory effect on the average life expectancy;3) Through model comparison, probit model is more suitable for the analysis of this kind of problems than logit model, and the properties of the obtained model are better.展开更多

These presentations are based on order statistics, signatures and mean reliability functions. We then discuss some stochastic comparisons of residual lives between two systems based on the stochastic ordering of coefficient vectors (or components) of the two systems. These results form nice extensions of some known results for the case of independent and identically distributed components.展开更多

Building on research from the field of computational neuroscience, the author provides an alternative understanding of what it means to be autistic and how to best support people on the autism spectrum to successfully adapt to the world in which we all live.展开更多

To forecast the lifetime of heart pacemakers we must determine its distribution regularity. In this paper, a heart pacemaker wear life model is introduced by using frequency property, and a life distribution is presented. The parametric properties of the density are studied. The moment estimator with negative order is used, which is just the maximum likelihood estimator. A new method of parameter estimate, F estimate of parameter, is proposed. This method is suitable to both truncated samples and complete samples, whether or not the distribution can be transformed into a standard distribution without any parameters.展开更多
