An Analysis of the Foreign Language Anxiety among Chinese Non-English Majors

In college English learning, many learning variables are considered to influence the proficiency of studying, among which, anxiety is one of the most important affective variables. There is a negative correlation between anxiety and foreign language learning. The present study explores the correlation between foreign language anxiety and language performance. It put forward two suggestions concerning what language teachers can do to help Non-English Major students lower their foreign language anxiety.

Study on Foreign Teachers＇ Teaching Validity of English Majors

With the deepening of global economic integration, the internationalization of education has become the trend of education development in the world. The paper intends to study on foreign teachers＇ teaching validity from English majors＇ students＇ perspective. The essay mainly adopts the classroom observation method to directly observe foreign teachers＇ classroom. In addition, the paper used the questionnaire and interview method for the English major students to get the first-hand feedback information to explore the existing problems of foreign teachers and then puts forward some suggestions.There are there parts in this paper. The first part is introduction of background and significance, and then it mainly analyzes performance of English majors from the present situation of the foreign teachers＇ class, and finally solves some common problems in classroom teaching.

Construction and Exploration of the Practical Education Mode ——Foreign Language Majors in Colleges and Universities

Social practice is an indispensable component of talents cultivation in universities and a necessary approach to lead students＇ rapid self=development. As one of the applications of Social practice of talents cultivation, practical education in universities refers to a fresh new university education mode： the coordinated development of teaching, managing and serving in universities. Foreign language majors are laden with heavy responsibility ofintemational communications and how to develop and promote the practical education for those students seems much more important and necessary. The paper tries to probe into the practical education mode of foreign language majors in universities and the conclusions are as follows： （1） This mode depends largely the combination of practical education and education of socialist core value system, course studying, career planning, employment and entrepreneurship, serving the society, and financial aid. （2） This mode is able to provide an effective exemplification for the cultivation of the high-qualified and well-educated foreign language talents. （3） This mode is expected to reach the object of talent cultivation in higher education： to cultivate students who are able to contribute to the development of the country in different areas.

Research on Ideological Education of Foreign Language Majors in China:Necessity and Approach

The higher education in China aims to cultivate advanced talents who would like to be devoted to cause of socialist construction with firm belief in communism and collectivism and mastery of modern science and technology.The significance of ideological education of undergraduates has been constantly aware of in China since the founding of the nation.In this day and age,with the implementation of cultural development strategies by telling Chinese stories well,the ideological education is increasingly significant in higher education.Compared with other majors,foreign language majors are in greater need for ideological instruction since they have to take a series of courses relevant to foreign cultures including but not limited to the general background,geography,history,literature,society and religion of relevant foreign countries.Even when they practice skills such as reading,listening,speaking and writing,they are supposed to have a clear picture of the cultural background of a certain foreign country or region.Meanwhile,there is particular demand for ideological correctness for their future jobs as teachers,translators or interpreters.Apart from taking compulsory courses of ideological and political theory,foreign language majors shall be cultivated through delivery of ideological education by academic courses,national innovation and entrepreneurship education and extra-curricular activities.

On the Value Cultivation of Chinese University English Majors

Foreign language education should integrate cultural teaching into the training of linguistic skills. Values, as the core of culture and moral education, should be paid enough attention to. During the study process of Chinese university English majors, they inevitably encounter enormous information of Western cultures and values, and their own values may come into conflict with the ones they meet. So the English teachers have the responsibility to help the students construct correct values. Such principles as cultivating critical thinking, offering the course of Chinese culture and using group discussions and activities should be followed during instruction to facilitate the value cultivation among English majors

我国外语类专业学生数字素养能力框架构建研究

外语类专业学生应具备信息技术应用能力是落实新文科发展内在要求和培养外语类专业复合型国际化人才的实际需要,目前亟须构建面向外语类专业学生数字素养能力框架。本文针对外语类专业的特点,从知识、素质、技能3个维度提出外语类专业学生数字素养能力框架,包括7个一级指标和24个二级指标,并进阶式划分能力水平等级,最终构建了从设定目标、选取指标、过程实施到结果反馈为一体的闭环系统,旨在推动构建中国特色外语类专业教育与人才培养新模式并为其他专业数字素养能力框架设计提供借鉴与参考。

国内外一流环境工程专业本科人才培养方案的比较研究

随着新工科和工程教育认证的不断发展,我国高校的工科教育建设也在不断积极改革,力求培养一流的工程技术人才。该文通过对比国内(清华大学、同济大学)和美国、英国、澳大利亚等国的多所一流高校的环境工程专业本科培养方案和课程设置,调研各国对环境工程专业人才的培养理念与培养目标,总结国内外不同特色的培养模式,并从大类招生、专业内涵、培养体系、学科交叉等方面为提高国内环境工程专业人才培养质量提出合理建议和改革对策。

新工科建设对工程教育新范式下的建筑类教学发展提出了新的要求。为满足工程产业对专业人才的需求,文章对国外顶尖高校建筑学专业的人才培养体系展开研究,选取瑞士苏黎世联邦理工学院、荷兰代尔夫特理工大学、英国伦敦大学学院三所高校进行调研。通过对三所高校建筑学专业本科教学体系和课程设置的对比分析,探讨了它们在新工科背景下的共性和差异性,以期为我国的建筑类专业人才培养体系建设和工程思维能力培养提供参考。
