Seventeen kinds of the high-entropy alloys with different components were prepared, the influencing factors (the comprehensive atomic radius difference δ, the mixing enthalpy AH and the mixing entropy AS) of phase composition of the alloys were calculated, and the microstructure and phase compositions of alloys were analyzed by using SEM and XRD. The result shows that only the systems with δ≤2.77 and △H≥-8.8 kJ/mol will form high entropy alloy with simple solid solution. Otherwise, intermetallic compounds will exist in the alloys. So, selection of the type of element has important effects on microstructure and properties of high entropy alloys.展开更多

The results show that ammoniojarosite can be formed rapidly under normal temperature and pressure by controlling suitable pH value and Fe2(SO4)3 and (NH4)2SO4 concentrations. The pH value, temperature and concentration of Fe2(SO4)3 medium are key factors influencing the formation of ammoniojarosite. Under normal temperature, precipitation of ammoniojarosite can be seen within 24 hours at pH values between 2.6-3.1, and a great quantity of ammoniojarosite is formed within 48 hours. At about 90℃, the pH value range forming ammoniojarosite extends to 1.2-3.1, and within this range the rise of pH value is advantageous to the formation of ammoniojarosite and high Fe2(SO4)3 concentration is also advantageous. Relative pure ammoniojarosite is synthesized under high Fe2(SO4)3 concentration (≥0.05 M) and ammoniojarosite containing melanterite and colloid amorphous hydroxide vitriol iron is formed at low Fe2(SO4)3 concentration. The deposition process of ammoniojarosite can be used to harness wastewater from mines and other industries and remove S, Fe and other toxic and harmful elements, such as As, Cr, Hg, Pb in water. Rapid formation of ammoniojarosite and other jarosite analogs under normal temperature and pressure has a good potential prospect for harnessing acid wastewater by means of precipitation of jarosite and its analogs.展开更多

The model combines the Peng-Robinson equation of state for the vapor, liquid and aqueous phases with the extended Ng-Robinson hydrate model for gas hydrate formation of all three structures. The parameters of 14 structure- H hydrate formers are determined based on the experimental data of structure-H hydrates in the literature. The expression of fugacity of water in the empty hydrate phase is correlated for calculating structure-H hydrate formation conditions in the absence of free water. The model is tested by predicting hydrate formation conditions of a number of structure-H hydrate forming systems which are in good agreement with the experimental data. The proposed model is also applied to the prediction of hydrate formation conditions for various reservoir fluids such as natural gas and gas condensate.展开更多

On the basis of thermodynamic calculations, the stable fields of sphalerite from different mineralization stages were determined and are shown in logfs_2-logfo_2 diagrams; furthermore. the physico-chemical conditions of mineralization and the properties of mineralization solutions are discussed so that reliability of the genetic information provided by the spectroscopy of sphalerite may also be verified. It is suggested that the temperature and pH value of the mineralization system decrease, and so do the fugacities of O_2, S_2, H_2. and H_2S and the activities of HS^- and SO_4^(2-) from the early to late stages of minerahzation.展开更多

In this model, gas hydrates were regarded as non-ideal solid solution composed of water groups and guest molecules, and the expressions of fugacity of guest molecules in hydrate phase was proposed accordingly. It has been shown that the developed model can indicate successfully the effect of guest-guest molecule interaction. In this paper, the types and lithofacies of the volcanic rocks in the western part of the Huimin sag are described; the relationship between rocks and electrical properties, the seismic reflection structures, the development and distribution of the volcanic rocks are expounded; and the fourfold role of the volcanic activities in the formation of the oil and gas pools is also dealt with. It is considered by the authors that the volcanic activities were not destructive to the formation of oil and gas pools but a factor favourable to the accumulation of organic matters and their conversion to hydrocarbon. The volcanic rocks might have served as reservoir rocks and cap rocks, or as a synsedimentary anticline. The prerequisites and important factors for the formation of oil and gas pools and their distribution are pointed out in the paper.展开更多

The disastrous debris flows of the Tianmo Watershed on Sept. 4, 2007, July 25, 2010 and Sept. 4, 2010, blocked Parlung Zangbo River and produced dammed lakes, whose outburst flow made 50 m high terrace collapse at the opposite bank due to intense scouring on the foot of the terrace. As a result, the traffic was interrupted for 16 days in 2010 because that 900 m highway base was destructed and 430 m ruined. These debris flows were initiated by the glacial melting which was induced by continuous higher temperature and the following intensive rainfall, and expanded by moraines along channels and then blocked Parlung Zangbo. At the outlet of watershed, the density, velocity and peak discharge of debris flow was 2.06 t/m3, 12.7 m/s and 3334 m3/s, respectively. When the discharge at the outlet and the deposition volume into river exceeds 2125 m3/s and 126×103 m3, respectively, debris flow will completely blocked Parlung Zangbo. Moreover,if the shear stress of river flow on the foot of terrace and the inclination angel of terrace overruns 0. 377 N/m2 and 26°, respectively, the unconsolidated terrace will be eroded by outburst flow and collapse. It was strongly recommended for mitigation that identify and evade disastrous debris flows, reduce the junction angel of channels between river and watershed, build protecting wall for highway base and keep appropriate distance between highway and the edge of unconsolidated terrace.展开更多

N –Nitrosamine precursors can be removed to various degrees during biological wastewater treatment(e.g., the activated sludge(AS) process). So far, little is known about the impact of the AS process on N-nitrosamine formation under practical disinfection condition(e.g., uniform formation condition(UFC)). In this study, N-nitrosamine UFC from selected model compounds, sewage components(i.e., blackwaters and greywaters) and sewage samples were comprehensively investigated during batch AS treatment tests. N –Nitrosodimethylamine(NDMA) formation from the tested precursor compounds(i.e., trimethylamine(TMA) and sumatriptan(SMTR)) under UFC chloramination decreased mostly after 6 or 24 hr treatment with different types of AS(i.e., domestic rural AS, domestic urban AS, and textile AS), and the reductions in NDMA UFC were comparable to their NDMA formation potential(FP) reductions. In urine and feces blackwaters, NDMA UFC increased after 6 or 24 hr treatment with the domestic(i.e., rural and urban) AS, while NDMA FP decreased substantially. The increases in NDMA UFC after AS treatment was presumably attributed to the removal of bulk organic matters(e.g., dissolved organic carbon(DOC)) which favored NDMA formation under UFC. On the other hand, in laundry greywaters having relatively abundant DOC, N-nitrosamine UFC was less affected by DOC removal before or after AS treatment, but decreased to similar degrees with N-nitrosamine FP. In sewage samples collected from wastewater treatment plants, N-nitrosamines UFC tended to increase or remain constant during AS treatment, despite the decreases in their FPs. These results suggest that biological wastewater treatment(e.g., the AS process) may not effectively reduce N-nitrosamine formation(e.g., measured under UFC) partially because the concurrent removal of bulk organic matters(e.g., DOC) favored N-nitrosamine formation in s econdary effluents.展开更多

The change is mainly mani- fested as the Tschermark substitution ( Mg, Fe) + Si =2A1. In the high-grade meta-morphism and anatexis process the multistage crystallization of minerals occurred and resulted in the complexity of the mineral association, such as the differentiation of leuco-and melano-components. Among them, the mafic-rich minerals formed earlier, and the differentiation of magnesio-and iron-components is responsible for the earlier presence of iron-rich minerals and later crystallization of magnesio-rich minerals, thus the successive associations of multistage occurred. The rock composition is an important but not critical factor to the occurrence of sapphirine. It is the mobilization of components that accounts for the formation of sapphirine. The multistage evolution of mineral association to some degree reflects the changing composition and opening of the setting. It is therefore deduced that the protolith from which sapphirine is derived is not necessarily magnesio-rich pelite. The heterogeneity of sapphirine composition is resulted from the various media, not the PT changes. Sapphirine formed at 840-880℃ ,not the so-called ultrahigh temperature condition(〉 1000℃). Its formation is related to both the filtration and diffusion processes in high-grade metamor-phism and anatexis.展开更多

Thirteen oil shale layers deposited in this basin, and the characteristics of oil shale are different among these oil shale layers. Based on the core observation and microscope identification, using the organic and inor- ganic data from borehole HD3 and outcrops, the formation conditions of different grade oil shale have been evaluated. Based on measuring oil yield (OY in short) of an oil shale to determine its grade, this paper classifies the oil shale as high grade (OY〉10%), medium grade (10%〉OY〉5%) and low grade (5%〉OY〉3.5%). The high grade oil shale is mainly in brown or dark brown, and the bulk density ranges from 1.59 to 1.81 g/cm3. The results of X-ray diffraction indicate the content of carbonate min- erals is 28.0%. The HI (hydrogen index)-Tmax, HI-OI (oxygen index) and S2-TOC (total organic carbon) diagrams indicate the kerogen types are I and II1. The high grade oil shale generally formed in the rela- tively arid paleoclimate, deposited in the brackish water, dysoxic environment, when the bioprodctivity is extremely high, and the information is mainly from the inorganic parameters diagrams of chemical index of alteration (CIA), Sr/Ba and V/(V+Ni). The medium grade oil shale mainly shows grey-black or black-brown color and the bulk density ranges from 1.87 to 2.08 g/cm^3. The average content of carbon- ate minerals is 16.4%, far less than high grade oil shale and the kerogen type is mainly IIm. The inor- ganic parameters diagrams reflect the medium grade oil shale generally formed in the less humid pa- leoclimate, deposited in the brackish water, dysoxic to anoxic environment, when the bioproductivity is medium. The color of low grade oil shale is major in grey-black or dark grey and the bulk density ranges from 2.00 to 2.15 g/cm^3. The average content of carbonate minerals is sharply decreased and the kerogen type is mainly II1. The inorganic parameters diagrams indicate the low grade oil shale gener- ally formed in the relatively humid paleoclimate, deposited in the freshwater to brackish water, anoxic environment, when the bioproductivity is relatively low. Comprehensive study suggest the increasing precipitation caused by a relatively humid paleoclimate resulted in decreasing oxygen concentration and salinity in the bottom water, restrained the salinity stratification, and tended to form the low grade oil shale. The strong evaporation leading to relatively arid paleoclimate resulted in increasing oxygen concentration and salinity in the bottom water, and promoted the salinity stratification. The area with well preservation conditions caused by the relative high sedimentary rate and salinity stratification are favorable to high grade oil shale deposit. In summary, the bioproductivity and the paleoclimate are the main factors controlling the oil shale grade in the Huadian Basin, when the bioproductivity is relatively high and the paleoclimate is relatively arid, it is prone to form the high grade oil shale. However the low grade oil shale developed in the low bioproductivity and relatively humid paleoclimate.展开更多

文摘Study of sapphirine and related mineral association in the high-grade region of the Larsemann Hills, East Antarctica, shows that sapphirine of the area is characterized by its magnesio-, iron- and aluminum-rich, but silica-poor feature, and the obvious intra- and intergrain changes in compositions. Its formation is related to both the filtration and diffusion processes in high-grade metamor-phism and anatexis.

文摘The Huadian Basin is an oil shale-bearing basin located in northeastern China. However the low grade oil shale developed in the low bioproductivity and relatively humid paleoclimate.
