This study focused on the land use and land cover (LULC) changes within the catchment area of the Godavari River, assessing the repercussions of land and water resource exploitation. Utilizing LANDSAT satellite images from 2009, 2014, and 2019, this research employed supervised classification through the Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS) software’s SCP plugin. Maximum likelihood classification algorithm was used for the assessment of supervised land use classification. Seven distinct LULC classes—forest, irrigated cropland, agricultural land (fallow), barren land, shrub land, water, and urban land—are delineated for classification purposes. The study revealed substantial changes in the Godavari basin’s land use patterns over the ten-year period from 2009 to 2019. Spatial and temporal dynamics of land use/cover changes (2009-2019) were quantified using three Satellite/Landsat images, a supervised classification algorithm and the post classification change detection technique in GIS. The total study area of the Godavari basin in Maharashtra encompasses 5138175.48 hectares. Notably, the built-up area increased from 0.14% in 2009 to 1.94% in 2019. The proportion of irrigated cropland, which was 62.32% in 2009, declined to 41.52% in 2019. Shrub land witnessed a noteworthy increase from 0.05% to 2.05% over the last decade. The key findings underscored significant declines in barren land, agricultural land, and irrigated cropland, juxtaposed with an expansion in forest land, shrub land, and urban land. The classification methodology achieved an overall accuracy of 80%, with a Kappa Statistic of 71.9% for the satellite images. The overall classification accuracy along with the Kappa value for 2009, 2014 and 2019 supervised land use land cover classification was good enough to detect the changing scenarios of Godavari River basin under study. These findings provide valuable insights for discerning land utilization across various categories, facilitating the adoption of appropriate strategies for sustainable land use in the region.展开更多

These include ankylosing spondylitis (AS), reactive arthritis (ReA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), arthritis associated with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), SAPHO syndrome (Synovitis, Acne, Pustulosis, Hyperostosis, and Osteitis), juvenile spondyloarthritis (JSPA), and undifferentiated SpA. Their exact cause is unknown but is believed to stem from a combination of factors. The first familial forms were described by de Blécourt et al. in 1961. The objective was to evaluate the epidemiological, clinical, therapeutic and evolutionary aspects of familial forms of SpA and in particular, to prove the severity of the disease in family members compared to index cases in the rheumatology department of the Aristide Le Dantec University Hospital in Dakar. Methodology: This was a prospective, cross-sectional and descriptive study with an analytical aim on patients with the familial form of spondyloarthritis defined by the existence of at least one other family member with SpA outside the propositus, collected within the Aristide Le Dantec rheumatology department in Dakar over a period of 10 years between January 2012 and December 2021. There were two phases of study, the first of which consisted of collecting index cases with miserly SpA and the second of which consisted of family screening after consent. The data analysed were epidemiological, clinical, paraclinical, therapeutic and evolving. Results: Out of 100 families of 1905 members, 667 SpA patients included, i.e. a prevalence of 35%, including 225 (33.73%) men and 412 women (61.17%), i.e. a ratio of 1.8. The mean age at diagnosis among relatives was 26.3 years (range 13 and 80 years), 47.14 years among the propositus, in whom the mean age at onset was 36.26 years and that of relatives 49.9 years in the first degree, 15 years in the second degree and 1 year in the third degree. The time to diagnosis was 11.20 years in the first degree, 2.5 years in the second degree, 1 year in the third degree and 10.88 years in the case of the proposes. The number of marriages in families was 420 of which 116 were consanguineous (consanguinity rate 27.62%), 19% among the propositus. HLA-B27 positive in 92% of the proposers and 33.43% in the families;70% of the propositus had an inflammatory syndrome and 17.54% in the families;87% of sacroilliitis in the propositus and 5.54% in the families. Clinical forms were dominated by undifferentiated SpA (338 cases) and APS (295 cases). The average BASFI was 3.23 on D0;2.59 in the 3rd month and 1 in the 6th month for the propositus versus 2.55 at D0;1.86 at the 3rd month and 1.55 in the 6th month in the families. Average BASDAI was 3.92 at D0;3.12 at the 3rd month and 2.07 at the 6th month in the propositus and 3 at D0;2.21 at the 3rd month and 1 at the 6th month in the families. Autoimmune associated conditions were 18 cases, degenerative 24 cases, autoinflammatory 2 metabolic cases 18 cases. They all received: NSAIDs, methotrexate, salazopyrine (11 cases) and anti-TNF-α (1 case). The evolution was generally favourable. Conclusion: SpA is on the rise in Senegalese hospitals, frequent in young people, SPA and undifferentiated SpA are the most frequent, management is essentially based on conventional care, and the disease is less severe in family members than index cases.展开更多

To prevent the occurrence of such errors, this study aimed at assessing the level of completeness of LRFs. Methods: A retrospective analysis of laboratory request forms was conducted at the Clinical Biology Laboratory of the Kinshasa University Clinic, DR Congo, between November 2021 to May 2022. The LRFs were evaluated according to the completeness of all sections including administrative data of the patient, data of physician who ordered the test, relevant patient’s clinical data and data of the biological sample. Results: From a total of 2842 LRFs evaluated, none was fully completed with all required information. Particularly, patient’s clinical data including the medical history, provisional diagnosis and current treatment, were the most absent in 99% LRFs. However, two sections related to patient’s ID and prescribed test were informed in 100% LRFs. Conclusion: The results of this preanalytical audit can serve as an improvement opportunity focused on strengthening awareness about complete filling of LRF.展开更多

One of the drivers of this shift is the implementation of policies that favor sedentary farming. However, there is inadequate information on how this transformation operates at the village level. Based on a case study of one village in Central Tanzania, this study demonstrates that the village land use plan is the primary policy tool for the transformation and intensification of shifting cultivation at the village level. Through the land use planning process, land is allocated only for lawful uses such as settlement, permanent cultivation, and the village forest reserve. No land is designated for shifting cultivation. Additionally, the land use plans are accompanied by by-laws that restrict shifting cultivation practices, such as the use of fire during land preparation and leaving the land fallow for more than 3 years. The intensification of shifting cultivation was not associated with an increase in the use of farm inputs such as improved seeds, fertilizer, or irrigation, as is commonly practiced in sustainable intensive agriculture. Instead, it was associated with the adoption of short fallow farming systems and labor-intensive land preparation methods, such as deep plowing to loosen the soil and sub-soiling vegetation.展开更多

文摘Real and complex Schur forms have been receiving increasing attention from the fluid mechanics community recently, especially related to vortices and turbulence.Several decompositions of the velocity gradient tensor, such as the triple decomposition of motion(TDM)and normal-nilpotent decomposition(NND),have been proposed to analyze the local motions of fluid elements. However, due to the existence of different types and non-uniqueness of Schur forms,as well as various possible definitions of NNDs,confusion has spread widely and is harming the research. This work aims to clean up this confusion. To this end,the complex and real Schur forms are derived constructively from the very basics, with special consideration for their non-uniqueness.Conditions of uniqueness are proposed. After a general discussion of normality and nilpotency,a complex NND and several real NNDs as well as normal-nonnormal decompositions are constructed, with a brief comparison of complex and real decompositions.Based on that, several confusing points are clarified, such as the distinction between NND and TDM,and the intrinsic gap between complex and real NNDs.Besides, the author proposes to extend the real block Schur form and its corresponding NNDs for the complex eigenvalue case to the real eigenvalue case. But their justification is left to further investigations.
文摘Background: The inadequacy in the completeness of the Laboratory Request Form (LRF) has been reported as one of the major sources of errors during the pre-analytical step of laboratory analysis. Conclusion: The results of this preanalytical audit can serve as an improvement opportunity focused on strengthening awareness about complete filling of LRF.
文摘With the deepening of reform and opening up,the rural land system has experienced the evolution from contracting to transfer to the current rural revitalization strategy, and has always been closely linked to the well-being of farmers and the vigorous development of the rural economy. The reform of this system is not only a key driving force for rural economic development, but also an important cornerstone for realizing the rural revitalization strategy.Through in-depth analysis of the connotation of rural revitalization and rural land system reform, this study discusses in detail the internal dynamic mechanism of rural land system reform driving rural revitalization, and comprehensively analyzes the current implementation of rural land system reform. On this basis, this study puts forward the strategic concept of promoting the rural land system reform in the context of rural revitalization.Studies have shown that the rural land system reform has mainly played a positive role in the following four aspects in promoting rural revitalization:providing a solid material foundation for rural revitalization, optimizing the allocation of rural resources, promoting the transformation and upgrading of rural industrial structure, and promoting rural social harmony and stability. In the context of the current rural revitalization, the rural land system reform is undoubtedly one of the core issues of China s rural development. In order to further improve this system,we need to continue to optimize and innovate the rural land transfer system, the homestead reform system, and the rural collective construction land market entry system.

文摘After landing in the Utopia Planitia,Tianwen-1 formed the deepest landing crater on Mars, approximately 40 cm deep, exposing precious information about the mechanical properties of Martian soil.We established numerical models for the plume-surface interaction(PSI)and the crater formation based on Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)methods and the erosion model modified from Roberts’Theory.Comparative studies of cases were conducted with different nozzle heights and soil mechanical properties. The increase in cohesion and internal friction angle leads to a decrease in erosion rate and maximum crater depth, with the cohesion having a greater impact. The influence of the nozzle height is not clear,as it interacts with the position of the Shock Diamond to jointly control the erosion process.Furthermore,we categorized the evolution of landing craters into the dispersive and the concentrated erosion modes based on the morphological characteristics. Finally,we estimated the upper limits of the Martian soil’s mechanical properties near Tianwen-1 landing site, with the cohesion ranging from 2612 to 2042 Pa and internal friction angle from 25°to 41°.
文摘Recent studies show that shifting cultivation in Tanzania has transformed into more intensive farming practices. Instead, it was associated with the adoption of short fallow farming systems and labor-intensive land preparation methods, such as deep plowing to loosen the soil and sub-soiling vegetation.
文摘In this paper,we present some vanishing theorems for p-harmonic forms on-super stable complete submanifold M immersed in sphere Sn+m.When 2≤1≤n-2,M has a flat normal bundle.Assuming that M is a minimal submanifold andδ>1(n-1)p2/4n[p-1+(p-1)2kp],we prove a vanishing theorem for p-harmonicℓ-forms.

文摘The study of land surface temperature(LST)is of great significance for ecosystem monitoring and ecological environmental protection in the Qinling Mountains of China. In view of the contradicting spatial and temporal resolutions in extracting LST from satellite remote sensing(RS)data, the areas with complex landforms of the Eastern Qinling Mountains were selected as the research targets to establish the correlation between the normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)and LST.Detailed information on the surface features and temporal changes in the land surface was provided by Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-3,respectively.Based on the statistically downscaling method, the spatial scale could be decreased from 1000 m to 10 m,and LST with a Sentinel-3 temporal resolution and a 10 m spatial resolution could be retrieved.Comparing the 1 km resolution Sentinel-3 LST with the downscaling results, the 10 m LST downscaling data could accurately reflect the spatial distribution of the thermal characteristics of the original LST image. Moreover, the surface temperature data with a 10 m high spatial resolution had clear texture and obvious geomorphic features that could depict the detailed information of the ground features. The results showed that the average error was 5 K on April 16,2019 and 2.6 K on July 15,2019.The smaller error values indicated the higher vegetation coverage of summer downscaling result with the highest level on July 15.

文摘In the past, scholars have divided the history of Chinese papermaking into different stages based on the development of ancient papermaking technology, emphasizing the development and progress of papermaking in different historical periods but paying less attention to the changes in the form of paper. Here, the stages are defined based on changes in use and function rather than technological developments. When this approach is combined with the history of printing, books, calligraphy, and painting, the history of Chinese papermaking can be divided into the writing paper, writing and printing paper, printing paper, and calligraphy and painting paper periods.Different periods of paper have significant differences in texture, form, and performance owing to their different applications. This significant difference provides a reference for the identification of ancient papers and reveals the internal connection between the history of printing, books, calligraphy, painting, and papermaking.
