In order to better study the transmission of COVID-19, this article adopts an improved fractional-order SIR model. Firstly, the properties of the model are studied, including the feasible domain and bounded solutions of the system. Secondly, the stability of the system is discussed, among other things. Then, the GMMP method is introduced to obtain numerical solutions for the COVID-19 system and combined with the improved MH-NMSS-PSO parameter estimation method to fit the real data of Delhi, India from April 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020. The results show that the fitting effect is quite ideal. Finally, long-term predictions were made on the number of infections. We accurately estimate that the peak number of infections in Delhi, India, can reach around 2.1 million. This paper also compares the fitting performance of the integer-order COVID-19 model and the fractional-order COVID-19 model using the real data from Delhi. The results indicate that the fractional-order model with different orders, as we proposed, performs the best.展开更多

The cyclic deformation of the material presents remarkable time-dependence and history memory phenomena. The fractional(fractional-order)derivative is an efficient tool for modeling these phenomena. Therefore, we develop a cyclic fractional-order unified visco-plastic(FVP) constitutive model. Specifically, within the framework of the cyclic elasto-plastic theory, the fractional derivative is used to describe the accumulated plastic strain rate and nonlinear kinematic hardening rule based on the Ohno-Abdel-Karim model. Moreover, a new radial return method for the back stress is developed to describe the unclosed hysteresis loops of the stress-strain properly. The capacity of the FVP model used to predict the cyclic deformation of the SS304 stainless steel is verified through a comparison with the corresponding experimental data found in the literature(KANG, G. Z., KAN, Q. H., ZHANG, J., and SUN, Y. F. Timedependent ratcheting experiments of SS304 stainless steel. International Journal of Plasticity, 22(5), 858–894(2006)). The FVP model is shown to be successful in predicting the rate-dependent ratcheting behaviors of the SS304 stainless steel.展开更多

It mainly focuses on fc estimation when fcmax and fcmin are not approximately equal to 100% and 0%, respectively due to using remote sensing image with medium or low spatial resolution. Meanwhile, we present a new method of fc estimation based on a random set of fc maximum and minimum values from digital camera (DC) survey data and a di- midiate pixel model. The results show that this is a convenient, efficient and accurate method for fc monitoring, with the maximum error -0.172 and correlation coefficient of 0.974 between DC survey data and the estimated value of the remote sensing model. The remaining DC survey data can be used as verification data for the precision of the fc estimation. In general, the estimation of fc based on DC survey data and a remote sensing model is a brand-new development trend and deserves further extensive utilization.展开更多

The results about fractional derivative multivariable grey models are very few at present. In this paper, a multivariable Caputo fractional derivative grey model with convolution integral CFGMC(q, N) is proposed. First, the Caputo fractional difference is used to discretize the model, and the least square method is used to solve the parameters. The orders of accumulations and differential equations are determined by using particle swarm optimization(PSO). Then, the analytical solution of the model is obtained by using the Laplace transform, and the convergence and divergence of series in analytical solutions are also discussed. Finally, the CFGMC(q, N) model is used to predict the municipal solid waste(MSW). Compared with other competition models, the model has the best prediction effect. This study enriches the model form of the multivariable grey model, expands the scope of application, and provides a new idea for the development of fractional derivative grey model.展开更多

文摘This paper proposes a novel unified visco-plastic constitutive model for uniaxial ratcheting behaviors. The cyclic deformation of the material presents remarkable time-dependence and history memory phenomena. The fractional(fractional-order)derivative is an efficient tool for modeling these phenomena. 文摘To fully display the modeling mechanism of the novelfractional order grey model (FGM (q,1)), this paper decomposesthe data matrix of the model into the mean generation matrix, theaccumulative generation matrix and the raw data matrix, whichare consistent with the fractional order accumulative grey model(FAGM (1,1)). Following this, this paper decomposes the accumulativedata difference matrix into the accumulative generationmatrix, the q-order reductive accumulative matrix and the rawdata matrix, and then combines the least square method, findingthat the differential order affects the model parameters only byaffecting the formation of differential sequences. This paper thensummarizes matrix decomposition of some special sequences, such as the sequence generated by the strengthening and weakeningoperators, the jumping sequence, and the non-equidistancesequence. Finally, this paper expresses the influences of the rawdata transformation, the accumulation sequence transformation, and the differential matrix transformation on the model parametersas matrices, and takes the non-equidistance sequence as an exampleto show the modeling mechanism.

文摘State of charge(SOC)estimation for lithium ion batteries plays a critical role in battery management systems for electric vehicles.Battery fractional order models(FOMs)which come from frequency-domain modelling have provided a distinct insight into SOC estimation. In this article,we compare five state-of-the-art FOMs in terms of SOC estimation. To this end, firstly, characterisation tests on lithium ion batteries are conducted, and the experimental results are used to identify FOM parameters.Parameter identification results show that increasing the complexity of FOMs cannot always improve accuracy. The model R(RQ)W shows superior identification accuracy than the other four FOMs.Secondly, the SOC estimation based on a fractional order unscented Kalman filter is conducted to compare model accuracy and computational burden under different profiles, memory lengths, ambient temperatures, cells and voltage/current drifts. The evaluation results reveal that the SOC estimation accuracy does not necessarily positively correlate to the complexity of FOMs.Although more complex models can have better robustness against temperature variation,R(RQ),the simplest FOM,can overall provide satisfactory accuracy.Validation results on different cells demonstrate the generalisation ability of FOMs,and R(RQ)outperforms other models. Moreover,R(RQ)shows better robustness against truncation error and can maintain high accuracy even under the occurrence of current or voltage sensor drift.
文摘In this article,we investigate a fractional-order singular Leslie-Gower prey-predator bioeconomic model, which describes the interaction bet ween populations of prey and predator, and takes into account the economic interest. We firstly obtain the solvability condition and the st ability of the model sys tem,and discuss the singularity induced bifurcation phenomenon.Next,we introduce a st ate feedback controller to elimina te the singularity induced bifurcation phenomenon, and discuss the optimal control problems. Finally, numerical solutions and their simulations are considered in order to illustrate the theoretical results and reveal the more complex dynamical behavior.

文摘The objective of this paper is to improve the monitoring speed and precision of fractional vegetation cover (fc). In general, the estimation of fc based on DC survey data and a remote sensing model is a brand-new development trend and deserves further extensive utilization.

文摘In order to investigate the dynamic behavior of non-conservative systems, the Lie symmetries and conserved quantities of fractional Birkhoffian dynamics based on quasi-fractional dynamics model are proposed and studied. The quasi-fractional dynamics model here refers to the variational problem based on the definition of RiemannLiouville fractional integral(RLFI),the variational problem based on the definition of extended exponentially fractional integral(EEFI),and the variational problem based on the definition of fractional integral extended by periodic laws(FIEPL).First, the fractional Pfaff-Birkhoff principles based on quasi-fractional dynamics models are established, and the corresponding Birkhoff’s equations and the determining equations of Lie symmetry are obtained.Second, for fractional Birkhoffian systems based on quasi-fractional models, the conditions and forms of conserved quantities are given, and Lie symmetry theorems are proved. The Pfaff-Birkhoff principles,Birkhoff’s equations and Lie symmetry theorems of quasi-fractional Birkhoffian systems and classical Birkhoffian systems are special cases of this article. Finally, some examples are given.

文摘In this paper, a robust model predictive control approach is proposed for a class of uncertain systems with time-varying, linear fractional transformation perturbations. By adopting a sequence of feedback control laws instead of a single one, the control performance can be improved and the region of attraction can be enlarged compared with the existing model predictive control (MPC) approaches. Moreover, a synthesis approach of MPC is developed to achieve high performance with lower on-line computational burden. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified by simulation examples.

文摘Most of the existing multivariable grey models are based on the 1-order derivative and 1-order accumulation, which makes the parameters unable to be adjusted according to the data characteristics of the actual problems. This study enriches the model form of the multivariable grey model, expands the scope of application, and provides a new idea for the development of fractional derivative grey model.
