[Methods] Through princi-pal component analysis on 10 characters of 8 fresh edibIe soybean varieties, char-acters reIated to fresh pod yield of fresh edibIe soybean were cIarified. [Results] Af-ter the principal components analysis, pod weight per pIant, 100-seed weight and pod number per pIant of fresh edibIe soybean were chosen to study their reIation with the yield of fresh edibIe soybean, moreover, it was demonstrated that the reIa-tion was Iinear reIation, thus it was suitabIe for muItivariate regression analysis. Fi-nal y, the mathematical expression formuIa about fresh pod yield was estabIished. [Conclusions] There were three characters affecting fresh pod yield, nameIy, pod weight per pIant, 100-seed weight and pod number per pIant, the mathematical equation was y=816.732+4.145X6-0.718X8-0.985X9 (X6: pod weight per pIant; X8: 100-seed weight; X9: pod number per pIant).展开更多

The results showed that the planting method for fresh edible "faba bean/spring maize+soybean-autumn maize/autumn soybean" was much easier to operate with the input-output ratio of about185.6%, and its yield and economic benefits were 2.09 and 1.83 times of that of the planting mode for three crops a year, significantly improving the agricultural yield and income of farmers. In addition, the cropping index of the planting mode for fresh edible fresh edible "faba bean/spring maize +soybean-autumn maize/autumn soybean" reached up to 350%, and planting faba bean once a year and soybean twice a year could make the biological fixation amount of nitrogen increase 350-450kg/m^2, which equaled to up to 700 kg/m^2 of urea, showing significant ecological and social benefits. Based on the comparison results, the high-yield culture techniques of the planting mode of fresh edible "faba bean/spring maize+soybean-autumn maize/autumn soybean" were summarized.展开更多

The result showed that the four mulberry varieties all adjusted well to soil, climate and other natural conditions in Hunan province, presenting good growth. The dry matter content of four varieties( lines) was above 25% and the crude protein content was more than 22%. Although the crude protein and total amino acid content of four mulberry varieties were lower than that of soybean powder, the proportion of various amino acids tended to be consistent,so mulberry leaf was very comprehensive in nutrition as an animal feed. Yuesang 11 had the highest fresh yield and crude protein of 14. 28 t / hm^2 and23. 22% respectively; Guisangyou 12 had the highest total amino acid content of 19. 58%. There were differences among four varieties, but each variety had its own advantages,so they all had good popularization value.展开更多

A total of 472 nursery piglets(Landrace×Yorkshire,(16.3±0.36) kg body weight) were randomly allocated into two treatments with 236 pigs in each treatment. The pigs were fed the basal diet without fresh FSM(control) or diet containing 10%(100 g/kg) fresh FSM(FSM group), and the crude protein content of the two groups was consistent. The feeding trial lasted for 28 d. The results showed that the pigs fed fresh FSM had increased(P〈0.05) average daily gain(ADG) compared with the control. There was no significant difference(P〈0.05) in feed to gain ratio(F:G) between the two groups. During the whole experiment, the concentration of NH3 in the piggery decreased(P〈0.05) by 19.0%, and the concentrations of PM(PM(10) and PM(2.5)) in the piggery decreased(P〈0.05) by 19.9% and 11.6%, respectively, in the FSM group, compared with the control. The ammonia nitrogen and nitrite content in feces increased(P〈0.05) by 32.9% and 28.4%, respectively, in the FSM group. The fecal p H declined(P〈0.05) significantly in the FSM group compared with the control. At the end of experiment, total protein(TP) concentration was increased(P〈0.05) significantly and blood urea nitrogen(BUN) concentration was decreased(P〈0.05) for pigs fed the diet with fresh FSM. The results indicated that dietary fresh FSM not only improved the growth performance of nursery piglets, but also reduced the NH3 concentration in the piggery due to nitrogen conversion, and decreased the concentrations of PM(10) and PM(2.5) in the piggery.展开更多
