However, the hydrodynamic characteristics of liquid flow in RSR are still a mystery despite they are fundamental for the mass transfer performance and processing capacity. In view of the above, this paper studies the liquid–liquid flow and liquid holdup in RSR under various conditions with a high-speed camera. The paper firstly demonstrates two flow patterns and liquid holdup patterns that we obtained from our experiment and then presents in succession a flow pattern and a liquid holdup criterion for the transition of film flow to filament flow and complete filling to incomplete filling. It is found that experimental parameters, including rotor–stator distance, rotational speed and volume flow rate exert great influence on the average droplet diameter and size distribution. Besides, by comparison and contrast, we also find that the experimental values match well with our previous predicted calculations of the average diameter, and the relation between the average diameter and the mean energy dissipation rate.展开更多

First, the acoustic match mode principle between the source modes of rotor stator interaction noise and the propagation modes is presented in this paper. Second, by utilizing this principle, the theoretical prediction method for rotor stator interaction noise generation and its propagation and attenuation in an annular duct with multi treatments is developed. That means that the prediction of sound propagation and attenuation in the segmented ducts might no longer completely depend on the in duct mode measurements, and the investigation on the sound propagation and attenuation in ducts can be accomplished not only by acoustic mode measurement, but also by making use of the source prediction to determine the source modes excited by rotor stator interaction. The effects of fan speed, blade/vane numbers, axial spacing between rotor and stator on the in duct sound attenuation and generated sound power level before and after ducts (also including the sound power level of blade passing frequency and its harmonics at the inlet of ducts) have been numerically calculated by using this prediction method. The reliability of this prediction method is verified by reasonable agreement between the predicted results with measured results in references. By analyzing the results of calculating cases, some reference criteria are provided for the engineering design of the suppressing engine nacelle.展开更多

文摘Due to the harsh actual operating environment of the permanent magnet wind turbine,it is easy to break down and difficult to monitor. Therefore, the electromagnetic characteristics identification of major fault types of large-scale permanent magnet wind turbines is studied in this paper. The typical faults of rotor eccentricity, stator winding short circuit and permanent magnet demagnetization of permanent magnet wind turbines are analyzed theoretically. The wavelet analysis algorithm is used to decompose and reconstruct the abnormal electromagnetic signal waveform band, and the characteristic frequency of the electromagnetic signal is obtained when the fault occurs. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,a 3.680MW permanent magnet wind turbine was taken as the research object. Its physical simulation model was established, and an external circuit was built to carry out field co-simulation.The results show that the motor fault type can be determined by detecting the change rule of fault characteristic frequency in the spectrum diagram, and the electromagnetic characteristic analysis can be applied to the early monitoring of the permanent magnet wind turbine fault.
文摘To solve the problem of temperature rise caused by the high power density of high-speed permanent magnet synchronous traction motors, the temperature rise of various components in the motor is analyzed by coupling the equivalent thermal circuit method and computational fluid dynamics. Also,a cooling strategy is proposed to solve the problem of temperature rise, which is expected to prolong the service life of these devices.First, the theoretical bases of the approaches used to study heat transfer and fluid mechanics are discussed, then the fluid flow for the considered motor is analyzed, and the equivalent thermal circuit method is introduced for the calculation of the temperature rise. Finally, the stator, rotor loss, motor temperature rise, and the proposed cooling method are also explored through experiments.According to the results, the stator temperature at 50,000 r/min and 60,000 r/min at no-load operation is 68℃ and 76℃,respectively.By monitoring the temperature of the air outlets inside and outside the motor at different speeds,it is also found that the motor reaches a stable temperature rise after 65 min of operation.Coupling of the thermal circuit method and computational fluid dynamics is a strategy that can provide the average temperature rise of each component and can also comprehensively calculate the temperature of each local point. We conclude that a hybrid cooling strategy based on axial air cooling of the inner air duct of the motor and water cooling of the stator can meet the design requirements for the ventilation and cooling of this type of motors.
文摘Based on the successful operation of 1200 kW turbo-typemodel generator with separated evaporative cooling ofboth stator and rotor,a 50 MVA turbo-type synchronous condenserwith evaporative cooling stator was constructed and put into opera-tion on March 8,1991 at Xijiao Substation of Shanghai Power Bu-reau.This is the first one in the world that applied the evaporativecooling technique on turbo-generator in industrial scale.
文摘Considering the effect of non-symmetry film force, nonlinear stiffness and nonlinear friction force, a dynamical model of rub-impact rotor system is established, then the nonlinear dynamical behavior is studied by numerical analysis method. The effect of rotation speed, nonlinear stiffitess ratio and speed effect factor on brifurcation and chaotic behavior for rub-impact rotor system is comprehensively analyzed. The analysis results show that the effect of non-symmetry film force, nonlinear stiffness and nonlinear friction force on the dynamical behavior of the rotor system has close relation with rotation speed. The chaotic behavior exists in a wider parameter region, and the chaotic evolution rule is more complicated. The research provides a reliable theory basis and reference for diagnosing some faults of the rotor system.
