Objective:To explore the difference and its clinical significance of event-related potential N400 in patients with bipolar depression,unipolar depression and schizophrenia Methods:It was N400 detection for 24 cases of bipolar depression,25 cases of unipolar depression,26 cases of schizophrenia and 28 healthy adults.All were tested with China Runjie WJ-1 ERP Instrument,congruent ending words of Chinese idioms(matching)and incongruent ending words of Chinese idioms(mismatching)mode.Results:(1)Compared with healthy adults in the control group,N400 latencies were prolonged in Cz brain regions and amplitudes were decreased period of three groups of patients before taking the medicine.(2)The delay in latencies and the decrease in amplitude of schizophrenia N400 were negatively correlated with the PANSS total score of the neuropsychological scale.(3)The abnormal degree of N400 in bipolar depression group was between unipolar depression group and schizophrenia group.Conclusions:We initially believe that(1)the bipolar depression group may be an intermediate state between unipolar depression and schizophrenia.(2)Bipolar depression with psychotic symptoms may have specific language barriers and N400 abnormalities.(3)After the next ERP follow-up,N400 can be used as a laboratory aid for identifying unipolar depression,bipolar depression and schizophrenia. 展开更多

When conducting a literature review,medical authors typically search for relevant keywords in bibliographic databases or on search engines like Google.After selecting the most pertinent article based on the title’s relevance and the abstract’s content,they download or purchase the article and cite it in their manuscript.Three major elements influence whether an article will be cited in future manuscripts:the keywords,the title,and the abstract.This indicates that these elements are the“key dissemination tools”for research papers.If these three elements are not determined judiciously by authors,it may adversely affect the manuscript’s retrievability,readability,and citation index,which can negatively impact both the author and the journal.In this article,we share our informed perspective on writing strategies to enhance the searchability and citation of medical articles.These strategies are adopted from the principles of search engine optimization,but they do not aim to cheat or manipulate the search engine.Instead,they adopt a reader-centric content writing methodology that targets well-researched keywords to the readers who are searching for them.Reputable journals,such as Nature and the British Medical Journal,emphasize“online searchability”in their author guidelines.We hope that this article will encourage medical authors to approach manuscript drafting from the perspective of“looking inside-out.”In other words,they should not only draft manuscripts around what they want to convey to fellow researchers but also integrate what the readers want to discover.It is a call-to-action to better understand and engage search engine algorithms,so they yield information in a desired and self-learning manner because the“Cloud”is the new stakeholder. 展开更多

The inquiry process of traditional medical equipment maintenance management is complex,which has a negative impact on the efficiency and accuracy of medical equipment maintenance management and results in a significant amount of wasted time and resources.To properly predict the failure of medical equipment,a method for failure life cycle prediction of medical equipment was developed.The system is divided into four modules:the whole life cycle management module constructs the life cycle data set of medical devices from the three parts of the management in the early stage,the middle stage,and the later stage;the status detection module monitors the main operation data of the medical device components through the normal value of the relevant sensitive data in the whole life cycle management module;and the main function of the fault diagnosis module is based on the normal value of the relevant sensitive data in the whole life cycle management module.The inference machine diagnoses the operation data of the equipment;the fault prediction module constructs a fine prediction system based on the least square support vector machine algorithm and uses the AFS-ABC algorithm to optimize the model to obtain the optimal model with the regularized parameters and width parameters;the optimal model is then used to predict the failure of medical equipment.Comparative experiments are designed to determine whether or not the design system is effective.The results demonstrate that the suggested system accurately predicts the breakdown of ECG diagnostic equipment and incubators and has a high level of support and dependability.The design system has the minimum prediction error and the quickest program execution time compared to the comparison system.Hence,the design system is able to accurately predict the numerous causes and types of medical device failure. 展开更多

Three-dimensional(3D)bioprinting based on traditional 3D printing is an emerging technology that is used to precisely assemble biocompatible materials and cells or bioactive factors into advanced tissue engineering solutions.Similar technology,particularly photo-cured bioprinting strategies,plays an important role in the field of tissue engineering research.The successful implementation of 3D bioprinting is based on the properties of photopolymerized materials.Photocrosslinkable hydrogel is an attractive biomaterial that is polymerized rapidly and enables process control in space and time.Photopolymerization is frequently initiated by ultraviolet(UV)or visible light.However,UV light may cause cell damage and thereby,affect cell viability.Thus,visible light is considered to be more biocompatible than UV light for bioprinting.In this review,we provide an overview of photo curing-based bioprinting technologies,and describe a visible light crosslinkable bioink,including its crosslinking mechanisms,types of visible light initiator,and biomedical applications.We also discuss existing challenges and prospects of visible light-induced 3D bioprinting devices and hydrogels in biomedical areas. 展开更多

Preparation of rare-earth-modified medical stone powders and their application as conductive fillers

Thus, the development of new conductive powders as fillers is urgently needed. A novel gaseous penetration technology was adopted to prepare La-doped medical stone powders(La-MSPs), which are inexpensive mesoporous materials, as a new kind of conductive filler material. The prepared La-MSPs attained a resistivity of 450 ?·m and were used as a filler to prepare conductive coatings with epoxy resin as the resin matrix. The influence of the La-MSPs dosage on the resistance and hardness of the coatings was also determined. The resistance and the hardness both decreased with increasing filler dosage. Finally, the optimum recipe of the conductive coatings with the most suitable fillers dosage(55 wt%) was obtained. The hardness and resistance of the coatings with 55 wt% La-MSPs were HV 4 and 5.5 × 10~7 ?, respectively. 展开更多

With the development of technology, medical equipment plays a more important role in the modern hospital. Medical equipment provides images, physiological results or other schematics of the patients to help doctors deal with the routines. It is also the major tool to the lab assistant in the clinical teaching and studies. It becomes one of a symbol of the technological level in modern hospital. The director of the hospital should establish an effi cacious management pattern to manage the medical equipment, so that it will be operated in good condition to insure the safety of the patients. Since the maintenance is an important part of medical equipment management, it is significant that the hospital should establish a system to fit for itself. The study reviews the issues in hospital medical equipment maintenance management, the development of the maintenance management model and the characteristics, as well as the status at home and abroad. The research has been fi nished by using literature research method, questionnaire survey method and data analysis method. Then we analyze the current status of hospital medical equipment maintenance management model to fi nd the problems. Based on the authentic and effective data from the survey, we can deduce the overview about the maintenance model in Beijing. The paper discusses the advantages and the disadvantages between the different model, and it makes suggestions on the follow aspects, such as system management, quality management, personnel management, cost management, information management perspective. 展开更多

Contribution:This paper designs a learning and training platform that can systematically help radiologists learn automated medical image analysis technology.The platform can help radiologists master deep learning theories and medical applications such as the three-dimensional medical decision support system,and strengthen the teaching practice of deep learning related courses in hospitals,so as to help doctors better understand deep learning knowledge and improve the efficiency of auxiliary diagnosis.Background:In recent years,deep learning has been widely used in academia,industry,andmedicine.An increasing number of companies are starting to recruit a large number of professionals in the field of deep learning.Increasing numbers of colleges and universities also offer courses related to deep learning to help radiologists learn automated medical image analysis techniques.For now,however,there is no practical training platform that can help radiologists learn automated medical image analysis systematically.ApplicationDesign:The platform proposes the basic learning,model combat,business application(BMR)concept,including the learning guidance system and the assessment training system,which constitutes a closed-loop learning guidance mode of“learning-assessment-training-learning”.Findings:The survey results show that most of radiologists met their learning expectations by using this platform.The platform can help radiologists master deep learning techniques quickly,comprehensively and firmly. 展开更多

目的有限元分析课程是一门理论和实践并重的课程,旨在提高学生的实操能力和解决问题的能力。医学相关专业学生的数理基础相对薄弱,为此,教研组将案例教学法引入有限元分析课程的教学,以提高教学效果。方法教研组结合教学大纲、学生的专... 目的有限元分析课程是一门理论和实践并重的课程,旨在提高学生的实操能力和解决问题的能力。医学相关专业学生的数理基础相对薄弱,为此,教研组将案例教学法引入有限元分析课程的教学,以提高教学效果。方法教研组结合教学大纲、学生的专业特点及作者的科研工作积累,建立了5个与医学问题相关的有限元分析教学案例、1个细胞生物力学教学案例及1个流固耦合教学案例,配备了包括几何模型建立、力学特性设置、载荷及边界条件的施加、结果分析等内容的分析流程及操作视频。然后,教研组将教学案例引入有限元分析课堂,教师组织学生对分析流程中的参数设置等进行讨论,并对案例进行总结。结果通过学生对自拟题目的有限元分析展示检验教学效果,结果表明学生能独立完成问题的有限元分析,可以对参数进行合理设置,并对结果进行查看和正确解读。结论有限元案例教学的实施,提高了学生的相关软件操作技能,加深了对有限元方法理论和参数设置的理解,使学生基本具备了通过有限元方法解决医学问题的能力,为后期的科研和临床工作奠定了一定的基础。 展开更多

目的基于感性工学理论,以K-Means色彩聚类为基础获取老年病房患者的色彩感性意象评价。方法首先搜集并筛选现代医院老年病房设计案例,通过K-Means聚类方法进行色彩提取以建立老年病房色彩样本库;其次运用语义差异法量化老年病房色彩的... 目的基于感性工学理论,以K-Means色彩聚类为基础获取老年病房患者的色彩感性意象评价。方法首先搜集并筛选现代医院老年病房设计案例,通过K-Means聚类方法进行色彩提取以建立老年病房色彩样本库;其次运用语义差异法量化老年病房色彩的感性意象认知,再将所得评价结果运用SPSS软件进行因子分析;最后,提取影响色彩意象评价的主因子,并探讨各感性意象与色彩样本之间的对应关系。结果通过量化老年病房患者的色彩感性意象认知,可知老年患者更倾向于选择中高明度、暖色调的色彩作为病房空间的主要色彩。结论该流程能获取科学、客观的色彩搭配方案,并有助于缓解老年患者的疾病压力,促进康复过程,同时也为医疗环境设计领域提供了新的思路和方法。 展开更多
