Model checking is an automated formal verification method to verify whether epistemic multi-agent systems adhere to property specifications.Although there is an extensive literature on qualitative properties such as safety and liveness,there is still a lack of quantitative and uncertain property verifications for these systems.In uncertain environments,agents must make judicious decisions based on subjective epistemic.To verify epistemic and measurable properties in multi-agent systems,this paper extends fuzzy computation tree logic by introducing epistemic modalities and proposing a new Fuzzy Computation Tree Logic of Knowledge(FCTLK).We represent fuzzy multi-agent systems as distributed knowledge bases with fuzzy epistemic interpreted systems.In addition,we provide a transformation algorithm from fuzzy epistemic interpreted systems to fuzzy Kripke structures,as well as transformation rules from FCTLK formulas to Fuzzy Computation Tree Logic(FCTL)formulas.Accordingly,we transform the FCTLK model checking problem into the FCTL model checking.This enables the verification of FCTLK formulas by using the fuzzy model checking algorithm of FCTL without additional computational overheads.Finally,we present correctness proofs and complexity analyses of the proposed algorithms.Additionally,we further illustrate the practical application of our approach through an example of a train control system. 展开更多

Using fuzzy logic systems to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions, a fuzzy state observer is designed for estimating the unmeasured states. On the basis of the state observer and applying the backstepping technique, an adaptive fuzzy observer control approach is developed. The main features of the proposed adaptive fuzzy control approach not only guarantees that all the signals of the closed-loop system are semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded, but also contain less adaptation parameters to be updated on-line. In this paper, the robust adaptive fuzzy tracking control problem is discussed for a class of perturbed strict-feedback nonlinear systems. The fuzzy logic systems in Mamdani type are used to approximate unknown nonlinear functions. A design scheme of the robust adaptive fuzzy controller is proposed by use of the backstepping technique. The proposed controller guarantees semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness of all the signals in the derived closed-loop system and achieves the good tracking performance. The possible controller singularity problem which may occur in some existing adaptive control schemes with feedback linearization techniques can be avoided. In addition, the number of the on-line adaptive parameters is not more than the order of the designed system. Finally, two simulation examples are used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. 展开更多

In heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, there exist severe nonlinearity, time-varying nature, disturbances and uncertainties. A new predictive functional control based on Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model was proposed to control HVAC systems. The T-S fuzzy model of stabilized controlled process was obtained using the least squares method, then on the basis of global linear predictive model from T-S fuzzy model, the process was controlled by the predictive functional controller. Especially the feedback regulation part was developed to compensate uncertainties of fuzzy predictive model. Finally simulation test results in HVAC systems control applications showed that the proposed fuzzy model predictive functional control improves tracking effect and robustness. Compared with the conventional PID controller, this control strategy has the advantages of less overshoot and shorter setting time, etc. 展开更多

In this paper, a robust adaptive fuzzy dynamic surface control for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems is proposed. A novel adaptive fuzzy dynamic surface model is built to approximate the uncertain nonlinear functions by only one fuzzy logic system. The approximation capability of this model is proved and the model is implemented to solve the problem that too many approximators are used in the controller design of uncertain nonlinear systems. The shortage of "explosion of complexity" in backstepping design procedure is overcome by using the proposed dynamic surface control method. It is proved by constructing appropriate Lyapunov candidates that all signals of closed-loop systems are semi-globally uniformly ultimate bounded. Also, this novel controller stabilizes the states of uncertain nonlinear systems faster than the adaptive sliding mode controller (SMC). Two simulation examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the control approach proposed in this paper. 展开更多

Then, the problem of passivity control is studied for a kind of T-S fuzzy descriptor system with uncertain parameters, and sufficient conditions which make the closed-loop system admissible and strictly passive are obtained based on linear matrix inequality (LMI). The nonstrict LMIs restricted conditions which characterize the descriptor system are transformed into strict ones, so testing admissibility and passivity of the system can be finished simultaneously. The design scheme of state feedback controller is also obtained. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the validity and feasibility of the proposed approach. 展开更多

This paper investigates the problem of finite frequency fuzzy H_∞ control for uncertain active vehicle suspension systems, in which sensor failure is taken into account. TakagiSugeno(T-S) fuzzy model is established for considered suspension systems. In order to describe the sensor fault effectively, a corresponding model is introduced. A vital performance index,H_∞ performance, is utilized to measure the drive comfort. In the framework of Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov theory, the H_∞ norm from external perturbation to controlled output is optimized effectively in the frequency domain of 4 Hz-8 Hz to enhance ride comfort level. Meanwhile, three suspension constrained requirements, i.e., ride comfort level, manipulation stability,suspension deflection are also guaranteed. Furthermore, sufficient conditions are developed to design a fuzzy controller to guarantee the desired performance of active suspension systems. Finally, the proposed control scheme is applied to a quarter-vehicle active suspension, and simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 展开更多

A new robust proportional-integral-derivative (PID) tracking control framework is considered for stochastic systems with non-Gaussian variable based on B-spline neural network approximation and T-S fuzzy model identification. The tracked object is the statistical information of a given target probability density function (PDF), rather than a deterministic signal. Following B-spline approximation to the integrated performance function, the concerned problem is transferred into the tracking of given weights. Different from the previous related works, the time delay T-S fuzzy models with the exogenous disturbances are applied to identify the nonlinear weighting dynamics. Meanwhile, the generalized PID controller structure and the improved convex linear matrix inequalities (LMI) algorithms are proposed to fulfil the tracking problem. Furthermore, in order to enhance the robust performance, the peak-to-peak measure index is applied to optimize the tracking performance. For the moment, the representative and hot research is decision-theoretic rough set (DTRS) which provides a new viewpoint to deal with decision-making problems under risk and uncertainty, and has been applied in many fields. Based on rough set theory, Yao proposed the three-way decision theory which is a prolongation of the classical two-way decision approach. This paper investigates the probabilistic DTRS in the framework of intuitionistic fuzzy information system (IFIS). Firstly, based on IFIS, this paper constructs fuzzy approximate spaces and intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) approximate spaces by defining fuzzy equivalence relation and IF equivalence relation, respectively. And the fuzzy probabilistic spaces and IF probabilistic spaces are based on fuzzy approximate spaces and IF approximate spaces, respectively. Thus, the fuzzy probabilistic approximate spaces and the IF probabilistic approximate spaces are constructed, respectively. Then, based on the three-way decision theory, this paper structures DTRS approach model on fuzzy probabilistic approximate spaces and IF probabilistic approximate spaces, respectively. So, the fuzzy decision-theoretic rough set (FDTRS) model and the intuitionistic fuzzy decision-theoretic rough set (IFDTRS) model are constructed on fuzzy probabilistic approximate spaces and IF probabilistic approximate spaces, respectively. Finally, based on the above DTRS model, some illustrative examples about the risk investment of projects are introduced to make decision analysis. Through semi-supervised learning and knowledge inheritance,a novel Takagi-Sugeno-Kang(TSK)fuzzy system framework is proposed for epilepsy data classification in this study.The new method is based on the maximum mean discrepancy(MMD)method and TSK fuzzy system,as a basic model for the classification of epilepsy data.First,formedical data,the interpretability of TSK fuzzy systems can ensure that the prediction results are traceable and safe.Second,in view of the deviation in the data distribution between the real source domain and the target domain,MMD is used to measure the distance between different data distributions.The objective function is constructed according to the MMD distance,and the distribution distance of different datasets is minimized to find the similar characteristics of different datasets.We introduce semi-supervised learning to further explore the relationship between data.Based on the MMD method,a semi-supervised learning(SSL)-MMD method is constructed by using pseudo-tags to realize the data distribution alignment of the same category.In addition,the idea of knowledge dissemination is used to learn pseudo-tags as additional data features.Finally,for epilepsy classification,the cross-domain TSK fuzzy system uses the cross-entropy function as the objective function and adopts the back-propagation strategy to optimize the parameters.The experimental results show that the new method can process complex epilepsy data and identify whether patients have epilepsy. 展开更多

Based on the delay-independent rule, the problem of optimal guaranteed cost control for a class of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy descriptor systems with time-varying delay is studied. A linear quadratic cost function is considered as the performance index of the closed-loop system. Sufficient conditions for the existence of guaranteed cost controllers via state feedback are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and the design of an optimal guaranteed cost controller can be reduced to a convex optimization problem. It is shown that the designed controller not only guarantees the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop fuzzy descriptor delay system, but also provides an optimized upper bound of the guaranteed cost. At last, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the perfect performance of the optimal guaranteed cost controller. 展开更多

The proposed robust H ∞ control laws guarantee that the resulting closed-loop system is regular, impulse free, and stable with prescribed H ∞ norm bounded constraint for all admissible uncertainties. Combining reaching law approach and fuzzy universal approximation theorem, the proposed design procedure combines the advantages of fuzzy logic control, adaptive control and sliding mode control. The stability of the control systems is proved in the sense of the Lyapunov second stability theorem. In new environments of trading, customer's trust is vital for the extended progress and development of electronic commerce. This paper proposes that in addition to known factors of electronic commerce B2C websites such a design of websites, security of websites and familiarity of website influence customers trust in online transactions. This paper presents an application of expert system on trust in electronic commerce. Based on experts’ judgment, a frame of work was proposed. The proposed model applies ANFIS and Mamdani inference fuzzy system to get the desired results and then results of two methods were compared. Two questionnaires were used in this study. The first questionnaire was developed for e-commerce experts, and the second one was designed for the customers of electronic websites. Based on AHP method, Expert Choice software was used to determine the priority of factors in the first questionnaire, and MATLAB and Excel were used for developing the fuzzy rules. Finally, the fuzzy logical kit was used to analyze the generated factors in the model. Our study findings show that trust in EC transactions is strongly mediated by perceived security. 展开更多

Based on the delay-dependent... The robust H∞ control problem for a class of uncertain Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with timevarying state delays is studied. The uncertain parameters are supposed to reside in a polytope. Based on the delay-dependent Lyapunov functional method, a new delay-dependent robust H∞ fuzzy controller, which depends on the size of the delays and the derivative of the delays, is presented in term of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). For all admissible uncertainties and delays, the controller guarantees not only the asymptotic stability of the system but also the prescribed H∞ attenuation level. In addition, the effectiveness of the proposed design method is demonstrated by a numerical example. 展开更多

This paper deals with the problem of guaranteed cost control for nonlinear systems with time-varying delays which is represented by Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models with time-varying delays.The derivatives of time-varying delay are not necessary to be bounded.Based on the free weighting matrix method,sufficient conditions for the existence of fuzzy guaranteed cost controller via state feedback are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).A minimizing method is also proposed to search the suboptimal upper bound of the guaranteed cost function.The results are delay-dependent but contain delay-independent criteria as a special case.A numerical example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and less conservativeness of our work. 展开更多
