The subject was studied in many ways, and fuzzy mathematics was usually used. It may assure the result and distinguish the dangerous rank of different areas. But it has two defects: The first is the result is not very exact, especially the border; The second is it is short of quantity. Fuzzy mathematics and grey theory were used in order to solve the problem. Firstly, mathematical model was constructed by using grey theory, so as to evaluate and forecast the dangerous rank of mining geology disaster in different areas. Then different areas were analyzed and divided by fuzzy mathematics. By doing these, similitude rules are not only studied but also differences are discriminated. Through the practice it can be known that the result is more accurate than before.展开更多

Based on the grey theory and fuzzy mathematics, a new comprehensive evaluation method from qualitative to quantitative, called grey-fuzzy evaluation, was proposed for evaluating eco-environment vulnerability. It was integrated of Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), grey correlation analysis, grey statistics and fuzzy judgment. The constitutional principle and method of the new evaluation method were given and its feasibility and effectiveness were proved by the practical example.展开更多

In the recent years, it has been successfully applied into many areas, such as process control, diagnosis, evaluation, decision making and scheduling, especially in simulation where accurate mathematical models can not or very hard be established. In this paper, to meet the demands of fuzzy simulation, two fuzzy nets will first be presented, which are quite suitable for modeling the parallel or concurrent systems with fuzzy behavior. Then, a concept of active simulation will be introduced, in which the simulation model not only can show its fuzzy behavior, but also has a certain ability which can actively perform many very useful actions, such as automatic warning, realtime monitoring, simulation result checking, simulation model self-adapting, error recovery, simulating path tracing, system states inspecting and exception handling, by a unified approach while some specified events occur. The simulation model described by this powerful simulation modeling tool is concurrently driven by a network interpreter and an event monitor that all can be implemented by software or hardware. Besides, some interesting applications are given in the paper.展开更多

An environmental risk assessment model was developed based on the network analytic method and fuzzy set theory. The "interval analysis method" was applied to deal with the on site monitoring data as basic information for assessment. In addition, the fuzzy set theory was employed to allow uncertain, interactive and dynamic information to be effectively incorporated into the environmental risk assessment. This model is a simple, practical and effective tool for evaluating the environmental risk of manufacturing industry and for analyzing the relative impacts of emission wastes, which are hazardous to both human and ecosystem health. Furthermore, the model is considered useful for design engineers and decision maker to design and select processes when the costs, environmental impacts and performances of a product are taken into consideration.展开更多
