Correspondingly, the FORTRAN program calculating the g factor of the ground state has been worked out. It is demonstrated that the covalency of the bonding between Mn4+ and ligands (O2-) in SrTiO3:Mn4+ is stronger than the one of the bonding between Cr3+ and ligands (O2-) in SrTiO3:Cr3+. To investigate the origin and the factors affecting the spread of rabies in China, specimens were collected from 2007 to 2011 from provinces with emerging and re-emerging cases and tested for the presence of the rabies virus. Positive specimens were combined with sequences from GenBank to perform comparisons of homology and functional sites, and to carry out phylogenetic analyses. Out of these regions, five provinces had 9 positive specimens from canine and cattle, and 34 canine or human specimens were obtained from previously high-incidence provinces. Complete sequences of G gene were obtained for these samples. Homology of the sequences of these 43 specimens was 87%-100% at the nucleotide level and 93.7% -100% at the amino acid level. These G gene sequences were combined with reference sequence from GenBank and used to construct a phylogenetic tree. The results showed that 43 specimens were all assigned to China clade I and clade II, with all specimens from emerging and re-emerging areas placed within clade I. Specimens isolated from Shanxi and Inner Mongolia in 2011 were distinct from previously-isolated local strains and had closer homology to strains from Hebei, Beijing and Tianjin whereas new isolates from Shanghai were tightly clustered with strains isolated in the 1990s. Finally, Shaanxi isolates were clustered with strains from adjacent Sichuan. Our results suggest that the rabies cases in emerging and re-emerging areas in China in the last 5 years are a consequence of the epidemic spreading from of neighboring provinces and regions experiencing a serious epidemic of rabies.展开更多

The rates of change of levels with respect to various parameters and the contributions to levels from various parameters are calculated, and the physical origins of various levels or splittings have been clearly and quantitatively shown. By using the wavefunctions obtained from diagonalizing the complete energy matrix, the g factors of the ground state of YAl3 (BO3 )4;Cr^3+ have been evaluated. The calculated results are in good agreement with the optical-spectral and EPR experimental data. It is demonstrated that the bonding between Cr^3+ and ligands (O^2-) is ionic.展开更多

Methods: Sera were taken from 70 patients with Condylomaacuminatum and compared with 35 healthy controls. PDGFand G-CSF in serum were quantitated using a dual antibodysandwich enzyme-linked immunoabsorbent assay (ELISA). Results: Serum concentrations of PDGF and G-CSF weresignificantly increased in patients with Condylomaacuminatum (CA) compared to controls (P<0.001 and P<0.005respectively). Serum levels of PDGF and G-CSF correlatedwith clinical severity of CA, but no significant difference wasobserved between different duration of disease groups. Asignificant positive correlation was noticed between neutrophilcount and G-CSF levels (γ=0.38, P<0.001), and the neutrophilcount showed no significant correlation with PDGE Conclusion: The results indicated that increased expressionof PDGF an -CSF in peripheral blood might be involved in pathogenesis of CA.展开更多

Serum G-CSF levels were detected inrecovery phase in 10 cases. Results Serum G-CSF levels were significantly higher (1429. 97 ±506. 43ng/L) in32 non-repeaters with acute infection. There was a positive correlation between white blood cell count ( WBC) andserum G-CSF level (r =0. 396, P <0. 05). There was also a positive correlation between absolute neutrophil count(ANC) and serum G-CSF level (r =0. 346,P <0. 05). Serum G-CSF levels were higher (98. 62 ±56. 40ng/L) in18 repeaters with acute infection. It was showed that serum G-CSF levels were significantly higher in non-repeatersthan in repeaters with acute phase of infection (P <0. 001). In the meanwhile, the body temperature was signifi-cantly higher in non-repeaters than in repeaters with acute infection (37. 95 ±0. 14 vs 36. 91 ±0. 13 ,P<0. 001). There were no significant differences in age, WBC, ANC, type of bacterial, liver function and renal func-tion (P >0. 05). Serum G-CSF levels in recovery phase of the two groups were below the sensitivity of the assay( <60 ng/L). Conclusion It is suggested that application of recombinant G-CSF may be useful for the patientswith repeated infection.展开更多
