General Operational Protocol for Coherence. Central Limit Theorem as Approximation

A general operational protocol which provides permanent macroscopic coherence of the response of any stable complex system put in an ever-changing environment is proposed. It turns out that the coherent response consists of two parts: 1) a specific discrete pattern, called by the author homeostatic one, whose characteristics are robust to the statistics of the environment;2) the rest part of the response forms a stationary homogeneous process whose coarse-grained structure obeys universal distribution which turns out to be scale-invariant. It is demonstrated that, for relatively short time series, a measurement, viewed as a solitary operation of coarse-graining, superimposed on the universal distribution results in a rich variety of behaviors ranging from periodic-like to stochastic-like, to a sequences of irregular fractal-like objects and sequences of random-like events. The relevance of the Central Limit theorem applies to the latter case. Yet, its application is still an approximation which holds for relatively short time series and for specific low resolution of the measurement equipment. It is proven that the asymptotic behavior in each and every of the above cases is provided by the recently proven decomposition theorem.

Noiseless Linear Amplification with General Local Unitary Operations

Noiseless linear amplification （NLA）, first proposed by Ralpha et al., is a nondeterministic amplification process which gives gain to the Fock state ｜n） → gn｜n）, with g being the amplification gain. We here give a general frame- work for improving the NLA scheme with arbitrary general local unitary operations. We derive the improvement in the amplification gain in 0 1 photon subspace. In particular, we study if the local unitary is composed of sin- gle mode squeezing and coherent displacement operation. Finally, numerical simulations show that local unitary operation could give a further enhancement in the amplification gain as well as the success probability, making the NLA more feasible in future optic quantum communications.

General Single-Mode Gaussian Operation with Two-Mode Entangled State

Realizing the logic operations with small-scale states is pursued to improve the utilization of quantum resources and to simplify the experimental setup. We propose a scheme to realize a general single-mode Gauss/an operation with a two-mode entangled state by utilizing only one nondegenerate optical parametric amplifier and by adjusting four angle parameters. The fidelity of the output mode can be optimized by changing one of the angle parameters. This scheme would be utilized as a basic efficient element in the future large-scale quantum computation.

Mathematical Definitions of Operators for Cartographic Generalization

This paper puts forword 11 cartographic generalization operator models and introduces their mathematical definitions,and thus a precise mathematical form and quantitative description has been given to these formerly limited qualitative concepts.The meaning of mathematical definition of operators for cartographic generalization and the application prospect in computer_aided cartography (CAC) is stated.ract The Jurassic strata in Jingyan of Sichuan containing the Mamenchinsaurus fauna are dealt with and divided in this paper. The Mamenchisaurus fossils contained there are compared in morphological features and stratigraphically with other types of the genus on by one. The comprehensive analysis show that the Mamenchisaurus fauna of Jingyan appeared in the early Late Jurassic and is primitive in morphology. The results of the morphological identification and stratigraphical study agree with each other. Their evolutionary processes in different apoches of the Late Jurassic also made clear. L^p APPROXIMATION BY GENERAL BERNSTEIN-DURRMEYER OPERATOR DEFINED ON SIMPLEX

As a generalization of the Bernstein-Durrmeyer operatora defined on the simplex, a class of general Bernstein-Durrmeyer operators is introduced. With the weighted moduli of smoothness as a metric, we prove a strong direct theorem and an inverse theorem of weak type for these operators by using a decom-position way. From the theorems the characterization of Lp approximation behavior is derived.

Relations of 3D directional derivatives and expressions of typical differential operators

Relations of the 3D multi-directional derivatives are studied in this paper. These relations are applied to a geeral second-order linear elliptical operator and the corresponding expression are obtained. These relations and expressions play important roles in the meshless finite point method.

Existence and Uniqueness of Positive Periodic Solutions for First-order Functional Differential Equations

In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of positive periodic solutions for first-order functional differential equation y＇（t） = α（t）y（t） ＋ f（t, y（t -τ-（t））） ＋ g（t）by using two fixed point theorems of general α-concave operators and homogeneous operators in ordered Banach spaces.

BMC LIMITED AREA MODEL GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND OPERATIONAL RESULTS

The limited area 5-level primitive equation model,as the first operational precipitation forecast model in China,has been run at Beijing (National) Meteorological Center (BMC) for more than four years.The opera- tional results show that this model gives continuous services,and the forecast skill is satisfied for the forecast of some weather situations,such as extratropical cyclone,front and the precipitation associated with them. The forecast guides are widely used at the local weather services now.

INVERSE SCATTERING PROBLEM FOR ONE-DIMENSIONAL SCHRDINGER OPERATORS RELATED TO THE GENERAL STARK EFFECT

This paper disccusses the inverse scattering problem for one-dimensional Schrodinger operatorsrelated to the general Stark effect. We provide a ganeral framework which can be applied both to theStark-effect operator and the ordinary Schrodinger operator.

EXISTENCE AND UNIQUENESS OF POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TO FRACTIONAL BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS

In this paper, using fixed point theorems of general β-concave operators in ordered Banach space, we obtain the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions to a class of fractional boundary problem. In the end, an example is given to illustrate our main result.
