Firstly, the generalized Pfaff-Birkhoff principle and the generalized Birkhoff equations are established, and the definition of the integrating factors for the system is given. Secondly, based on the concept of integrating factors, the conservation theorems and their inverse for the generalized Birkhoff system in the event space are presented in detail, and the relation between the conservation laws and the integrating factors of the system is obtained and the generalized Killing equations for the determination of the integrating factors are given. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the application of the results.展开更多

Based on the airflow environment of blade, the method of hub vibratory loads prediction will be produced when the helicopter flights forward with high speed. It involves the Leishman-Beddoes unsteady model and dynamic stall model, the dynamic inflow theory, the Piters-He generalized dynamic wake theory, elastic flap movement of blade and so on. The State-Space method is used to solve the equation, which is fit for numerical calculation. Comparing calculational results of several models, it is revealed that the distributions of rotor wake and blade dynamic response have great influence upon the hub vibratory loads prediction.展开更多

Nonlinear controllability theory is used to show that the dynamics are locally controllable from the equilibrium point and thus can be asymptotically stabilized to the equilibrium point via time-invariant piecewise continuous feedback laws or time-periodic continuous feedback laws. Specifically, when the total angular momentum of the spacecraft-VSCMG system is zero, any orientation can be a controllable equilib- rium attitude. In this case, the attitude stabilization problem is addressed by designing a kinematic stabilizing law, which is implemented through a nonlinear proportional and deriva- tive controller, using the generalized dynamic inverse (GDI) method. The steady-state instability inherent in the GDI con- troller is elegantly avoided by appropriately choosing control gains. In order to obtain the command gimbal rate and wheel acceleration from control torques, a simple steering logic is constructed to accommodate the requirements of attitude sta- bilization and singularity avoidance of the VSCMG. Illustrative numerical examples verify the efficacy of the proposed control strategy.展开更多

These non-symmetric geometries produce an attraction force between the rotor and the stator, called unbalanced magnetic pull(UMP).The target of this paper is to analyse responses due to certain deviations of shape in the rotor and the stator. In particular, the perturbation on the rotor is considered to be of oval character, and the perturbations of the stator are considered triangular.By numerical and analytical methods it is concluded for which generator parameters harmful conditions, such as complicated whirling motion and high amplitudes, will occur.During maintenance of hydro power generators the shapes of the rotor and stator are frequently measured. The results from this paper can be used to evaluate such measurements and to explain the existence of complex whirling motion.展开更多

Using prefecture city-level panel data covering China "s 262 prefecture cities for the period 2004-2013 and employing a dynamic panel system generalized method of moments model with instrumental variable regression techniques, our study finds that FDI and exports have, on average, played a significantly positive role in China's urbanization. However, the impacts of FDl and exports on urbanization vary across regions. FDI has a positive and significant impact on urbanization in the coastal region but has no impact on urbanization in the inland region. Exports have a positive and significant impact on urbanization in both the coastal and inland regions, but the effect is much larger in the coastal region than in the inland region. The results imply that further attracting FDI inflows and promoting exports will contribute to China's urbanization, especially for the inland region.展开更多

According to the characteristics of XPM, the nonlinear phase shift of signal can be changed along with the pump power. The amplitude of signal can be changed by controlling the phase shift at one arm of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer(MZI) using XPM effect between signal and pump. Therefore, the phase and amplitude of the optical frequency comb(OFC) can be controlled by two pump arrays. As a result, different kinds of waveforms can be synthesized. Due to the ultrafast response of XPM, the generated waveform could be dynamically updated with an ultrafast frequency. The waveform fidelity is affected by the updating frequency.展开更多
