Our work is motivated by the fact that the (G'/G)-expansion method provides not only more general forms of solutions but also periodic and solitary waves. If we set the parameters in the obtained wider set of solutions as special values, then some previously known solutions can be recovered. The method appears to be easier and faster by means of a symbolic computation system.展开更多

This linear PDE is obtained from a system of forced Burgers equation via the Cole-Hopf transformation. For any spatial dimension n>1, the solution is expressed in terms of a family of weighted generalized Laguerre polynomials. We show that this type of equations are globally exponential stable in L2 [0, 1] under zero Dirichlet boundary conditions. We use an adaptive nonlinear boundary controller to show the convergence of the solution to the trivial solution and to show that it achieves global asymptotic stability in time. We introduce numerical simulation for the controlled equation using the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) in order to illustrate the performance of the controller.展开更多
