Rotor vibration characteristics are first analyzed, which are that the rotor vibration of fundamental frequency will increase due to rotor winding inter-turn short circuit fault, air-gap dynamic eccentricity fault, or imbalance fault, and the vibration of the second frequency will increase when the air-gap static eccentricity fault occurs. Next, the characteristics of the stator winding parallel branches circulating current are analyzed, which are that the second harmonics circulating current will increase when the rotor winding inter-turn short circuit fault occurs, and the fundamental circulating current will increase when the air-gap eccentricity fault occurs, neither being strongly affected by the imbalance fault. Considering the differences of the rotor vibration and circulating current characteristics caused by different rotor faults, a method of generator vibration fault diagnosis, based on rotor vibration and circulating current characteristics, is developed. Finally, the rotor vibration and circulating current of a type SDF-9 generator is measured in the laboratory to verify the theoretical analysis presented above. 展开更多

Parallel arrays with coprime subarrays have shown its potential advantages for two dimensional direction of arrival(DOA)estimation.In this paper,by introducing two flexible coprime factors to enlarge the inter-element spacing of parallel uniform subarrays,we propose a generalized parallel coprime array(GPCA)geometry.The proposed geometry enjoys flexible array layouts by the coprime factors and enables to extend the array aperture to achieve great improvement of estimation performance.Meanwhile,we verify that GPCA always can obtain M2 degrees of freedom(DOFs)in co-array domain via 2M sensors after optimization,which outperforms sparse parallel array geometries,such as parallel coprime array(PCA)and parallel augmented coprime array(PACA),and is the same as parallel nested array(PNA)with extended aperture.The superiority of GPCA geometry has been proved by numerical simulations with sparse representation methods. 展开更多

The scheduling efficiency of the tracking and data relay satellite system(TDRSS)is strictly limited by the scheduling degrees of freedom(DoF),including time DoF defined by jobs' flexible time windows and spatial DoF brought by multiple servable tracking and data relay satellites(TDRSs).In this paper,ageneralized multiple time windows(GMTW)model is proposed to fully exploit the time and spatial DoF.Then,the improvements of service capability and job-completion probability based on the GMTW are theoretically proved.Further,an asymmetric path-relinking(APR)based heuristic job scheduling framework is presented to maximize the usage of DoF provided by the GMTW.Simulation results show that by using our proposal 11%improvement of average jobcompletion probability can be obtained.Meanwhile,the computing time of the time-to-target can be shorten to 1/9 of the GRASP. 展开更多

This concept has been applied to represent and optimize nonsmooth functions. The second a.pplication result,ed relevant for parallel computing, by allowing to define minimization algorithms with high degree of inherent parallelism. The paper presents first the theoretical background, namely the notions of monotone generalized directional derivative and monotone generalized subdifferential. Then it defines the tools for the procedures, that is a necessary optimality condition and a steel>est descent direction. Therefore the minimization algorithms are outlined. Successively the used architectures and the performed numerical expertence are described, by listing and commenting the t.ested functions and the obtained results. 展开更多

Generalized parallel mechanisms with a configurable moving platform have become popular in the research field of parallel mechanism.This type of gripper mechanism can be applied to grasp large or heavy objects in different environments that are dangerous and complex for humans.This study proposes a family of novel(5+1)degrees of freedom(three translations and two rotations plus an additional grasping motion)gripper mechanisms based on the generalized parallel mechanisms with a configurable moving platform.First,the configurable moving platform,which is a closed loop,is designed for grasping manipulation.The hybrid topological arrangement is determined to improve the stiffness of the manipulator and realize high load-to-weight ratios.A sufficient rule based on Lie group theory is proposed to synthesize the mechanism.TTie hybrid limb structure is also enumerated.A family of novel gripper mechanisms can be assembled through the hybrid limbs by satisfying the rule.Two examples of the gripper mechanisms with and without parallelogram pairs are shown in this study.A kinematic analysis of the example mechanism is presented.The workspace shows that the mechanism possesses high rotational capability.In addition,a stiffiiess analysis is performed. 展开更多
