Toxic Cu(Ⅱ) and Ni(Ⅱ) ions in aqueous solutions were adsorbed by microporous activated carbon(AC). The adsorption isotherm and kinetics correlation coefficients indicate that the adsorption of Cu(Ⅱ) and Ni(Ⅱ) ions on the AC fits the pseudo second-order rate model and Langmuir adsorption model. The used AC adsorbents containing the adsorbed Cu and Ni ions were used as colorant in glass preparation. The coloration effect of Cu ions was influenced by the carbon absorbent included in the glass batch due to the reduction phenomenon, while the coloration of Ni ions was not affected. 展开更多

Optical properties of wavelength-tunable green-emitting color conversion glass ceramics

Color conversion glass ceramics are prepared by cosintering borosilicate glass frits and green 0.06Ce:Y2.94(Al1-xGax)5O12 phosphors. The crystal structures, the influence of Ga concentration on the photoluminescence (PL), and reliability properties of the color conversion glass ceramics are investigated. The PL emission wavelengths of 0.06Ce:Y2.94(Al1-xGax)5O12 glass ceramics show blue shift from 545 nm to 525 nm with increasing Ga content (x value) under excited at 460 nm. Reliability test results show that the quantum yield (QY) of 0.06Ce:Y2.94(Al1-xGax)5O12 glass ceramics decreases from 70.60% to 59.06% with x value increasing from 0.15 to 0.35 under the ambient condition of 85℃/RH85% for the exposure time of 168 h. And the quantum yield (QY) of 0.06Ce:Y2.94(Al1-xGax)5O12 glass ceramics decreases from 65.13% to 52.23% after being soaked into boiled water for 4 h. The finding reveals that the addition of Ga can deteriorate the reliability of the color conversion glass ceramics. 展开更多

We calculate the exclusive charmonium photo-production in the framework of color glass condensate.To obtain a good description of the vector meson production experimental data at HERA,we introduce a vector meson mass dependent skewness factor into the skewness effect.Then we extend the skewness improved model to the LHC energies.The numerical results of our model are in good agreement with theΨ/Ψ and Ψ(2S)data in ultraperipheral proton-proton collisions at LHC,which show the significance of the vector meson mass-dependent skewness factor.A prediction of the exclusive charmonium photo-production in ultra-peripheral nucleus-nucleus collisions is performed since it can provide a good way to test the effectiveness of the color glass condensate. 展开更多

A detailed experimental study to investigate the relationship between the manganese content on color formation and the redox condition was carried out. All experiments were carried out at different level of iron and manganese oxides. Color parameters (dominant wavelength, brightness (%), purity (%) and L-a-b values) were examined for large interval of batch redoxes. The color conversion glass ceramics which were made of borosilicate matrix co-doped(SrBaSm)Si2O2N2:(Eu^3+Ce^3+) blue-green phosphors were prepared by two-step method in co-sintering. The change in luminescence properties and the drift of chromaticity coordinates(CIE) of the(SrBaSm)Si2O2N2:(Eu^3+Ce^3+) blue-green phosphors and the color conversion glass ceramics were studied in the sintering temperature range from 600℃ to 800℃. The luminous intensity and internal quantum yield(QY) of the blue-green phosphors and glass ceramics decreased with the sintering temperature increasing. When the sintering temperature increased beyond 750℃, the phosphors and the color conversion glass ceramics almost had no peak in photoluminescence(PL) and excitation(PLE) spectra. The results showed that the blue-green phosphors had poor thermal stability at higher temperature. The lattice structure of the phosphors was destroyed by the glass matrix and the Ce^3+ in the phosphors was oxidized to Ce^4+, which further caused a decrease in luminescent properties of the color conversion glass ceramics. 展开更多

Coloring Characteristic of Lead Glass for X-Ray Irradiation

The lead glass used in an X-ray examination room is indispensable for watching a subject being tested or a situation of operation of an X-ray generator, but because it is some structure equipment of an X-ray examination room, it must obey legal restrictions. Although the standard for lead glass is determined by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), there are few reports about the characteristics related to interaction with radiation. We performed a comparison of three lead glass products, which are principally used in world. As for three products, differences are not looked by physics and chemical characteristics features. Simply the difference was looked by the coloring characteristic for an interaction with radiation. Furthermore, we checked that temporal decolorization of coloring had two half-lives. The short half-life is about 28 hours and the long half-life is about 107 days. 展开更多

The effect of single coloring agent Nd(NO3)3 on the crystallization, microstructure and colorization of Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2 (LAS) glass ceramics were investigated by differential thermal analysis (DTA), X-ray diffractometry (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The introduction of little neodymium has no effect on the crystallization manner and the formation of main crystallization phase, but more neodymium will weaken the crystallization of LAS glass. Little neodymium can increase the glossiness of LAS glass ceramic, while more neodymium can color LAS glass with light purple or red purple. The colorability of neodymium for LAS glass ceramic decreases with the increase of crystallization temperature. 展开更多

We report a unique red light-emitting Eu-doped borosilicate glass to convert color for warm white light-emitting diodes. This glass can be excited from 394 nm-peaked near ultraviolet light, 466 nm-peaked blue light, to 534 nm- peaked green light to emit the desired red light with an excellent transmission in the wavelength range of 400-700 nm which makes this glass suitable for color conversion without a great cost of luminous power loss. In particular, when assembling this glass for commercial white light-emitting diodes, the tested results show that the color rendering index is improved to 84 with a loss of luminous power by 12 percent at average, making this variety of glass promising for inorganic "remote-phosphor" color conversion. 展开更多

河北省易县八佛洼辽代三彩罗汉造像是以琉璃工艺制作的罗汉像,民国期间发现于易县八佛洼半山睒子洞中,而后被国外古董商带到世界各地,现存世仅11尊,收藏于世界各个国家的博物馆中。这批罗汉造像在西方被认为是非常罕见的中国写实主义雕... 河北省易县八佛洼辽代三彩罗汉造像是以琉璃工艺制作的罗汉像,民国期间发现于易县八佛洼半山睒子洞中,而后被国外古董商带到世界各地,现存世仅11尊,收藏于世界各个国家的博物馆中。这批罗汉造像在西方被认为是非常罕见的中国写实主义雕像,从被发现以来,就一直深受美术史学界的关注,具有很高的学术研究价值。本文在前人研究的基础上对其原产地点进行补充论证,对其造型风格进行比较分析,发现其与山西、山东两座宋代寺庙中的罗汉造像部分表现形式接近,极有可能与这两地的宋代罗汉像参照了同种绘本或彩塑,进而对易县三彩罗汉造像的艺术特点及陈设配置等进行分析研究,最后探讨易县三彩罗汉造像极高的艺术价值,认为其代表着中国古代写实主义艺术的最高成就,并在世界文明交流互鉴中发挥着重要作用。 展开更多

激光照明用复合荧光玻璃的制备及性能分析

激光照明以其亮度高、体积小、照射距离远等优势而在汽车照明、军事侦察、投影显示等领域展示出了巨大的发展潜力。然而,荧光玻璃的高显色指数与高光通量之间存在“博弈”关系。基于此,研究制备了一种由黄光荧光粉(YAG:Ce^(3+)和红光荧... 激光照明以其亮度高、体积小、照射距离远等优势而在汽车照明、军事侦察、投影显示等领域展示出了巨大的发展潜力。然而,荧光玻璃的高显色指数与高光通量之间存在“博弈”关系。基于此,研究制备了一种由黄光荧光粉(YAG:Ce^(3+)和红光荧光粉(CASN:Eu^(2+))组合的复合荧光玻璃。制备的YAG:Ce^(3+)荧光玻璃的内量子效率高达90.50%(为原始荧光粉的95.4%),在150℃时,其发光强度为室温时的93.3%。将YAG:Ce^(3+)的质量百分比为10 wt.%的荧光玻璃与LD封装后,获得的最大光通量为3479.2 lm。7 wt.%CaAlSiN红光玻璃在7.8 W激光激发下的发光通量为413 lm。经优化复合荧光玻璃中黄粉/红粉比例,当10 wt.%YAG:Ce^(3+)与7 wt.%CASN:Eu^(2+)组合时,获得了最高的显色指数82.2,相关色温为4281 K,发光效率为171.2 lm·W^(-1),发光通量为2036.6 lm,实现了荧光玻璃基激光器件的高显色指数和高光通量的发光。因此,同质结构组合的荧光玻璃被视为一种有潜力的荧光转换材料。 展开更多
