The Raman depolarization ratios of gaseous CO2 in the spectral range of 1240-1430 cm-I are determined with a sensitive photoacoustic Raman spectroscopy, and more accurate data compared to the literature results are presented. The precision of the obtained depolarization ratio is achieved by measuring and fitting the dependence of the PARS signal intensity on the cross angle between the polarizations of two incident laser beams. 展开更多

In this research work, the upward transition probabilities for the transition levels, 0<sup>+</sup> → 2<sup>+</sup>, 2<sup>+</sup> → 4<sup>+</sup>, 4<sup>+</sup> → 6<sup>+</sup> and 6<sup>+</sup> → 8<sup>+</sup> levels of even-even neutron rich <sup>104-114</sup>Ru isotopes have been calculated by using the Global Best Fit (GBF) method. In addition, the associated parameters such as, Quadrupole moment and Deformation parameter of even-even <sup>104-114</sup>Ru have been calculated. Determination of the resonant parameters ofχ_(c0)(3915)with global fit

Particle χ_(c0)(3915) was first observed by the Belle experiment in the ωJ/ψ invariant mass spectrum in the process B→KωJ/ψ and subsequently confirmed by the BaBar experiment.Both experiments reported the resonant parameters of this particle in the processes γγ→ωJ/ψ and B→KωJ/ψ assuming χ_(c0)(3915) as an S-wave Breit-Wigner resonance.We performed a global fit to the distributions of invariant mass of ωJ/ψ measured by the Belle and BaBar experiments and additionally incorporated the measurements reported by the LHCb experiment to extract the mass and width of χ_(c0)(3915).We obtained M=3920.9±0.9 MeV/c^(2) and Γ=18.2±2.4 MeV,which are consistent with the values from PDG within one standard deviation but with higher precision. 展开更多

Global Electroweak Fit and Its Implication for Z'

Among the Z-pole observables, AFB^(0,b) and Ae display moderately large standard deviations from the Standard Model predictions. This result can be interpreted as independent experimental evidence for new physics beyond the SM, even if the 125 GeV Higgs-like boson at the LHC is ultimately confirmed as the SM Higgs. A recalculated global electroweak fit with a model-independent Z' shows that Z' can simultaneously suppress AFB(0,b) and Ae at the Z-pole, and reduce the largest deviation from 2.6σ in SM to 1.0σ in our scenario. The Z' fitting results also support a negative S parameter. 展开更多

Extraction of the CKM phase γ from the charmless two-body B meson decays

Using all experimentally measured charmless B → PP, PV decay modes, where P(V) denotes a light pseudoscalar(vector) meson, we extract the CKM angle γ by a global fit. All hadronic parameters are determined from the ... Using all experimentally measured charmless B → PP, PV decay modes, where P(V) denotes a light pseudoscalar(vector) meson, we extract the CKM angle γ by a global fit. All hadronic parameters are determined from the experimental data, such that the approach is least model dependent. The contributions of the various decay modes are classified by the topological weak Feynman diagram amplitudes, which are determined by the global fit.To improve the precision of the approach, we consider the flavor SU(3) breaking effects of the topological diagram amplitudes of the decay modes by including the form factors and decay constants. The fit result for the CKM angle γ is( 69.8 ± 2.1 ± 0.9)°. It is consistent with the current world average values but has a smaller uncertainty. 展开更多
