Given endowment and the technology of each country, we pro...In the setting of dealing with climate change, this article designs a matching mechanism for global public goods provision with the aggregative game approach. Given endowment and the technology of each country, we propose the conditions under which the matching mechanism is able to guarantee full participation and Pareto efficient provision, respectively, in the cases with certain and uncertain preference information. These conditions cannot only be adopted in international negotiation and cooperation, but also refines the theory of matching game. In comparative static analyses, we discover that: First, changes of initial stock of climate goods produce a wealth effect and the crowd-out effect is less than 1. Second, climate tax policies affect the supply and welfare of each country only when they produce wealth effects, and if tax revenue is transferred into climate goods with more advanced technology, they will produce positive wealth effects. Third, modifying matching plans dynamically and appropriately can urge countries to improve technology, and especially given a Pareto optimal mechanism, adjusting the matching plan to keep marginal rates of transformation unchanged as technology changes is still able to ensure full participation and efficient supply of climate goods.展开更多

With the increased use of open-source software or integration of open-source software into custom-developed software, the quality of this software component increases in importance. This study examined a sample of open-source applications from GitHub. Static software analytics were conducted, and each application was classified for its risk level. From design philosophy to operational framework, from vision to action, distinct Chinese characteristics, style and temperament are fully demonstrated by this initiative. In theory, the Belt and Road Initiative promotes multiple innovations in global governance and enriches and develops international cooperation and the global value chain. The "Silk Road spirit" inherits and innovates the core philosophy of China's diplomacy since 1949; more importantly, its principle of achieving shared growth through discussion and collaboration is a key contribution to global governance theory. In practice, the Belt and Road Initiative highlights both regional cooperation and international agreement, and initiates a new model for China's diplomatic practice and international cooperation. Therefore, it is of exemplary value in terms of development, peace, culture and cooperation, while offering a new solution to dealing with international relations in the era of Reform and Opening-up. The past three years has generated marked achievements. The Belt and Road construction is at a critical stage of transition from quantitative change to qualitative change, from small achievements to significant success. In the future, China should take the initiative to promote the construction of two principal axes, further integrate with the philosophy underpinning China's diplomacy as a major country, innovate the theoretical system of the Belt and Road Initiative and forge a corresponding security system. As the old Chinese saying goes, "Big countries should treat small countries with kindness and justice, while small countries should treat big countries with wisdom." Open-source software gives both individuals and businesses the flexibility to work with different parts of available code to modify it or incorporate it into their own project. The open source software market is growing. Major companies such as AWS, Facebook, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Netflix, SAP, Cisco, Intel, and Tesla have joined the open source software community. In this study, a sample of 40 open source applications was selected. Traditional McCabe software metrics including cyclomatic and essential complexities were examined. An analytical comparison of this set of metrics and derived metrics for high risk software was utilized as a basis for addressing risk management in the adoption and integration decisions of open source software. From this comparison, refinements were added, and contemporary concepts of design and data metrics derived from cyclomatic complexity were integrated into a classification scheme for software quality. It was found that 84% of the sample open source applications were classified as moderate low risk or low risk indicating that open source software exhibits low risk characteristics. The 40 open source applications were the base data for the model resulting in a technique which is applicable to any open source code regardless of functionality, language, or size.展开更多
Purpose:To provide an overview of global publications on artificial intelligence(AI)in thyroid-associated oph-thalmopathy(TAO)through bibliometric analysis.Methods:Publications related to AI in TAO from inception unti...Purpose:To provide an overview of global publications on artificial intelligence(AI)in thyroid-associated oph-thalmopathy(TAO)through bibliometric analysis.Methods:Publications related to AI in TAO from inception until April 2023 were retrieved from the Web of Science database.The trends of publications and citations,publishing performance,collaboration among countries and institutions,and the funding agencies,relevant research domains,leading journals,hotspots and their evolution were identified.Results:A total of 55 publications were included for analysis.The number of publications and citations continued to grow since 1998,with a significant acceleration of growth after 2020.China is the most productive country with the highest number of productive institutions,followed by the United States.European countries have the most extensive collaboration.The most relevant research domain was radiology,nuclear medicine&medical imaging.The European Journal of Radiology was one of the most productive journals,with the most influential articles published."Thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy"and"neural network"maintain hotspots during the entire period.Studies were more focused on clinical features during 1998 and 2016,clinical features and medical data during 2017 and 2020,and medical data and AI techniques during 2021 and 2023.Conclusions:This study summarized the global research status regarding AI in TAO in terms of trends,countries,institutions,research domains,journals,and key topics.AI has shown great potential in TAO.Sponsored by funding agencies such as NSFC,China has become the most productive country in the field of AI in TAO.Our findings help researchers better understand the development of this field and provide valuable clues for future research directions.展开更多
