本文拟在全球化语境下探讨英汉文化负载词的可译性趋势。全球化语境下,中西文化交流更加频繁,英汉文化负载词所依存的英汉语境中的相似成分不断增多,它们在译语语境中的信息传输越来越充分,其可译性不断提高;但与此同时,语言和文化的民族特性又会阻碍英汉语境之间的完全趋同,英汉文化负载词在译语语境中的信息传输不会完全等同于它们在源语语境中的信息负载,故全球化语境下英汉文化负载词的可译性在总体上将不断扩大,但某些局部的可译性限度也将长期存在。
