The Pd/RGO was prepared by a one-step reduction method in which the palladium nanoparticles and the reduced graphene oxide (RGO) were simultaneously accomplished from the reduction of dispersed solution of PdCl2 and graphite oxide (GO) with hydrazine. The asprepared nanocomposite exhibits favorable electrocatalytic activities towards the oxidation of H2O2, which makes it a good platform for the construction of the glucose biosensor. The analytical performance of the glucose biosensor is fully evaluated. Ag NPs with high density were directly deposited on the surface of 3D GNF by performing a novel cluster beam deposition approach. In comparison with traditional Ag substrate (SiO2/Ag), such hot-spots enriched 3D nanostructure showed extremely high electromag-netic field enhancement under incident light irradiation which could be used as a sensitive chemical sensor based on surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed nanostructure showed superior SERS performance in terms of Raman signal reproducibility and sensitivity for the probe molecules. 3D full-wave simulation showed that the enhanced SERS performance in this 3D hierarchical plasmonic nanostructure was mainly obtained from the hot-spots between Ag NPs and the near-field coupling between Ag NPs and GNF sca olds. This work can provide a novel assembled SERS substrate as a SERS-based chemical sensor in practical applications.展开更多

In this article, we study the optical properties of a graphene wrapping silica core–shell spherical nanoparticle under illumination of external light by using the Mie theory. We find that the nanoparticle can exhibit surface plasmon resonance(SPR) that can be broadly tuned from mid infrared to near infrared via simply changing the geometric parameters. A simplified equivalent dielectric permittivity model is developed to better understand the physics of SPR, and the calculation results agree well qualitatively with the rigorous Mie theory. Both calculations suggest that a small radius of graphene wrapping nanoparticle with high Fermi level could move the SPR wavelength of graphene into the near infrared regime.展开更多

To obtain Au Pd solid solution NPs, Pd–OAm and Au–OAm precursors are firstly prepared by mixing OAm with Palladium(II) acetylacetonate(Pd(acac)2) and HAu Cl4, respectively. Then Pd–OAm and Au–OAm precursor solutions are injected into a hot oleylamine solution to form Au Pd NPs. The size of these NPs ranges from 6.0 to 8.0 nm and the composition is controlled by varying the precursor ratio. The Au Pd NPs are loaded onto reduced graphene oxide(RGO) sheets to make catalysts. Alloy NPs show high electrocatalytic activity and stability toward methanol oxidation in the alkaline media. Their catalytic activity for methanol oxidation is found to be dependent on the NP composition. As the Pd component increases, the peak current densities during the forward scan gradually increase and reach the maximum at Au Pd2. The enhancement of alloy NPs for methanol oxidation can be attributed to a synergistic effect of Au and Pd on the surface of alloy NPs.展开更多

We synthesized three kinds of GAg as GAg-1, GAg-2 and GAg-3. We introduced high electron mobility GAg into the active layer of polymer solar cell. The cell structure was ITO/PEDOT:PSS/P3HT:PCBM:GAg/Ca/Al. The weight ratio of P3HT:PCBM:GAg of active layer is 1:1:0.01. We study the effect of GAg addition on the photovoltaic performance. We use the UV-Vis, SPM, FE-SEM and solar simulator to measure the absorbance, roughness, surface morphology, and power conversion efficiency (PCE), respectively. From these results, we found that the fill factor (FF) and PCE of the cells with GNS or GAg are always higher than those of cell without GNS or GAg. The cell with GAg-2 had the highest short circuit current density (Jsc) of 8.56 mA/cm2, an increase of 20.2%, the highest fill factor (FF) of 0.56, an increase of 14.3% and the highest PCE of 2.78%. This is a 24.7% increase in efficiency compared to the cell without GNS or GAg. These improvements were due to the high carrier mobility of grapheme.展开更多

文摘To improve the efficiency of cathodic oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)in zinc-air batteries(ZABs),an adsorption-complexation-calcination method was proposed to generate cobalt-based multicomponent nanoparticles comprising Co,Co_(3)O_(4)and CoN,as well as numerous N heteroatoms,on graphene nanosheets(Co/Co_(3)O_(4)/CoN/NG).The Co/Co_(3)O_(4)/CoN nanoparticles with the size of less than 50 nm are homogeneously dispersed on N-doped graphene(NG)substrate, which greatly improve the catalytic behaviors for ORR.The results show that the half-wave potential is as high as 0.80 V vs.RHE and the limiting current density is 4.60 mA·cm^(−2),which are close to those of commercially available platinum/carbon(Pt/C)catalysts.Applying as cathodic catalyst for ZABs,the battery shows large specific capacity and open circuit voltage of 843.0 mAh∙g^(−1) and 1.41 V,respectively. The excellent performance is attributed to the efficient two-dimensional structure with high accessible surface area and the numerous multiple active sites provided by highly scattered Co/Co_(3)O_(4)/CoN particles and doped nitrogen on the carbon matrix.
文摘We report on a new type of amperometric glucose biosensor that was made by integration of glucose oxidase (GOD) with palladium nanoparticles/reduce graphene oxide (Pd/RGO) nanocomposite. It shows good analytical properties in terms of a short response time (3 s), high sensitivity (14.1 μA/mM), and low detection limit (0.034 mM). In addition, the effects of pH value, applied potential, electroactive interference and the stability of the biosensor were discussed as well.

文摘In this work, we proposed a novel three-dimensional (3D) plasmonic nanostructure based on porous graphene/nickel foam (GNF) and gas-phase deposited Ag nanoparticles (NPs). This work can provide a novel assembled SERS substrate as a SERS-based chemical sensor in practical applications.

文摘A simple ultrasound-assisted co-precipitation method was developed to prepare ferroferric oxide/graphene oxide magnetic nanoparticles(Fe_3O_4/CO MNPs).The hysteresis loop of Fe_3O_4/GO MNPs demonstrated that the sample was typical of superparamagnetic material. The samples were characterized by transmission electron microscope, and it is found that the particles are of small size. The Fe_3O_4/GO MNPs were further used as an adsorbent to remove Rhodamine B.The effects of initial pH of the solution, the dosage of adsorbent, temperature, contact time and the presence of interfering dyes on adsorption performance were investigated as well. The adsorption equilibrium and kinetics data were fitted well with the Freundlich isotherm and the pseudosecond-order kinetic model respectively. The adsorption process followed intra-particle diffusion model with more than one process affecting the adsorption of Rhodamine B.And the adsorption process was endothermic in nature.Furthermore, the magnetic composite with a high adsorption capacity of Rhodamine B could be effectively and simply separated using an external magnetic field. And the used particles could be regenerated and recycled easily. The magnetic composite could find potential applications for the removal of dye pollutants.

文摘Lithium sulfur battery(LSB)is a promising energy storage system to meet the increasing energy demands for electric vehicles and smart grid, while its wide commercialization is severely inhibited by the"shuttle effect"of polysulfides, low utilization of sulfur cathode, and safety of lithium anode. To overcome these issues, herein, monodisperse polar NiCo_(2)O_(4)nanoparticles decorated porous graphene aerogel composite(NCO-GA)is proposed. The aerogel composite demonstrates high conductivity, hierarchical porous structure, high chemisorption capacity and excellent electrocatalytic ability, which effectively inhibits the"shuttle effect",promotes the ion/electron transport and increases the reaction kinetics. The NCO-GA/S cathode exhibits high discharge specific capacity(1214.1 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 C),outstanding rate capability(435.7 mAh g^(-1)at 5 C)and remarkable cycle stability(decay of 0.031%/cycle over 1000 cycles).Quantitative analyses show that the physical adsorption provided by GA mainly contributes to the capacity of NCO-GA/S at low rate, while the chemical adsorption provided by polar NiCo_(2)O_(4)contributes mainly to the capacity of NCO-GA/S with the increase of current density and cycling. This work provides a new strategy for the design of GA-based composite with synergistic adsorption and electrocatalytic activity for the potential applications in LSB and related energy fields.

文摘A composite of graphene/PANI/GAunano is synthesized using the co-blend method. The morphologies and microstructures of samples are examined by transition electron microscopy(TEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR). Moreover, the microwave absorption properties of both graphene/PANI and GO/PANI/ GAunano composites are investigated in a microwave frequency band from 1 GHz to 18 GHz. The maximum reflection loss(RL) of GO/PANI/GAunano with a thickness of 2 mm is up to-24.61 d B at 15.45 GHz, and the bandwidth corresponding to RL at-10 d B can reach 4.08 GHz(from 13.92 GHz to 18.00 GHz) for a 2-mm-thick layer. The electromagnetic data demonstrate that GO/PANI/GAunano can be used as an attractive candidate for microwave absorbers.

文摘The chemiluminescence (CL) performance of luminol is improved using reduced graphene oxide/gold nanoparticle (rGO-AuNP) nano-composites as catalyst. To prepare this catalyst, we propose a linker free, one-step method to in- situ synthesize rGO-AuNP nano-composites. Various measurements are utilized to characterize the resulting rGO-AuNP samples, and it is revealed that rGO could improve the stability and conductivity. Furthermore, we investigate the CL signals of luminal catalyzed by rGO-AuNP. Afterwards, the size effect of particle and the assisted enhancement effect of rGO are studied and discussed in detail. Based on the discussion, an optimal, sensitive and stable rGO-AuNP-luminon- H202 CL system is proposed. Finally, we utilize the system as a sensor to detect hydrogen peroxide and organic compounds containing amino, hydroxyl, or thiol groups. The CL system might provide a more attractive platform for various analytical devices with CL detection in the field of biosensors, bioassays, and immunosensors.

文摘A novel electrode material based on chemically modified graphene (CMG) with aminophenyl groups is covalently functionalized by a nucleophilic ring-opening reaction between the epoxy groups of graphene oxide and the aminophenyl groups of p-phenylenediamine. Palladium nanoparticles with an average diameter of 4.2 nm are deposited on the CMG by a liquid-phase borohydride reduction. The electrocatalytic activity and stability of the Pd/CMG composite towards formic acid oxidation are found to be higher than those of reduced graphene oxide and commercial carbon materials such as Vulcan XC-72 supported Pd electrocatalysts.

文摘Graphene decorated nanomaterials and nanostructures can potentially be used in military and medical science applications. Both calculations suggest that a small radius of graphene wrapping nanoparticle with high Fermi level could move the SPR wavelength of graphene into the near infrared regime.

文摘Monodisperse Au Pd bimetallic nanoparticles(NPs) with different compositions are synthesized by using oleylamine(OAm) as reducing reagent, stabilizer, and solvent. The enhancement of alloy NPs for methanol oxidation can be attributed to a synergistic effect of Au and Pd on the surface of alloy NPs.

文摘Ultra-small Co_3O_4 nanoparticles/graphene hybrid material had been synthesized by a facile hydrothermal route and consequent calcination process. The as-obtained ultra-small Co_3O_4 nanoparticles with their sizes of 5–8 nm are tightly anchored on the surface of graphene(GNS).Benefiting from the ultra-small size of Co_3O_4 nanoparticles, the high interconnectivity of hybrid material as well as the high conductive networks constructed by GNS,which can provide a fast and efficient transportation of electron and electrolyte ions for the overall electrode, the as-prepared hybrid material exhibits a high specific capacitance of 462 F·g^(-1) at 5 m V·s^(-1) compared with pure Co_3O_4(193 F·g^(-1)),and retained 88.2% of its initial capacitance after 2000 cycles, indicating a promising electrode material for supercapacitors.
文摘Graphene/Ag nanoparticles (GAg) were fabricated via a facile method, employing graphite oxide as a precursor of graphene sheet (GNS), AgNO3 as a precursor of Ag nanoparticles, and sodium citrate as a reducing and stabilizing agent. These improvements were due to the high carrier mobility of grapheme.
文摘We report the synthesis of graphene/fullerene-capped gold nanoparticle nanocomposite film which was used to construct supercapacitor electrodes. The fullerene-based self-assembled monolayers on gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were attained via the fullerene(C60)-gold interaction. The fullerene-capped AuNPs effectively separated the graphene sheets preventing aggregation. A synergistic effect was observed—the specific capacitance of graphene/fullerene-capped AuNP electrode is197 F/g, which is higher than that of graphene electrode (31 F/g), graphene/AuNP electrode (126 F/g), and graphene/fullerene electrode (118 F/g). The results render a novel route of synthesis and modification of graphene-based materials for the construction of electrochemical energy storage devices.
文摘In this work electromagnetic properties of a new type of graphene nanoparticles are investigated. The particles consist of graphene circular and square rings, embedded in a dielectric environment. The electromagnetic behavior in terms of resonant frequency position, magnitude and amplitude width for the absorption cross-section and the near electric field distribution are evaluated. Moreover, the influence of the geometrical parameters is also evaluated. The electromagnetic analysis is derived through proper full-wave numerical simulations. Numerical results show that the nanoparticles can be successfully used for the development of future graphene-based antennas operating in the TeraHertz Band.
