The Problems and Countermeasures in the Teaching of Graphic Design Majors in Universities

As a cradle for cultivating and delivering graphic design professionals,the graphic design major in universities should keep up with the times,guided by the“Opinions on Deepening Undergraduate Education and Teaching Reform,and Comprehensively Improving the Quality of Talent Cultivation,”deepen teaching reform,and enhance the quality of talent cultivation.Based on this,this article analyzes the existing problems in the teaching of graphic design major and actively explores its teaching reform path,in order to promote the in-depth implementation of graphic design major teaching and even the entire graphic design teaching reform,comprehensively improve the quality of graphic design talent cultivation,and promote the great reform and development of higher education.

The difference of Teaching Mode of Graphic Design Major in Chinese and American Universities

This article is based on personal visits to Louisiana State University in the United States.It analyzes and introduces the hotspots of curriculum design,training methods,learning environment,professional ability and quality training of graphic design majors in American public comprehensive universities.Analyze the teaching concepts and methods that are inspiring for the relevant design courses for our country from a personal perspective,and gain insights into the deep-seated problems in the cultivation of design innovation capabilities in China and the United States,in order to arouse everyone’s reflection and further develop our country’s design educational reform ideas.

A Study on the Usability of Semiotics in Graphic Design

Currently, The current flat design has become a mainstream approach is widely used in web design, computer and mobile phone systems, interface design. In graphic design, graphic symbol design is increasingly being taken seriously and use minimalist design symbols often appear in print design plane, PPT presentations, public areas, identity-oriented system like. This paper discusses the design of graphical symbols flat in graphic design use need to make the audience cognitive ability, graphic symbols standardized principles, design principles angles for effective information design to achieve efficient information communication. A Review on the Development of Chinese Graphic Design Education

The development of economy and industrialization further accelerates the pace of development of graphic design education.The educational system actively adopted two ways of“going out”and“inviting in”to communicate with the western world in graphic design(Zhang,2009).Chinese design began to re-examine its balance between globalization and localization after rapid absorption and international experience digestion.As for the negative influence,it led to the risk of developing short-sightedness in design education.Faced with unprecedented challenges,the graphic design industry was continually expanding its functions.The development of Chinese design cannot entirely rely on its own.There was no doubt that graphic design was indeed facing significant obstacles.The suggestions from the American Institute of Graphic Arts(AIGA)are set very high to achieve;the objectives will be excellent if academia can follow.A study aims to understand the overall curriculum and course design and how best to modify the general curriculum and course design to allow for industry practices changes and keep a close eye on the Chinese market's changing needs for design should be carried out.

Research on the Novel Mode of Plane Graphic Design from the Angle of Visual Language Transmitting

In this paper, we conduct research on the novel mode of plane graphic design from the core angle of the primary visual language transmitting. Relationship between nationality and cosmopolitan processing in graphic design in the design of image symbol expression and significance of the symbol on the one hand require symbolic form must have enough openness and the cognitive function on the other hand with semiotics method can let the designer to extract the most representative and symbolic notation style to carry on the design expression. As a non- verbal symbols, from the perspective of the view, the design image is no national boundaries, but the human form to beauty and should express the symbolism of cognition is the same. In the form of the ethnic groups of the cosmopolitan codes are for identification of Chinese contemporary design possible effective methods. Our research proposes novel perspective of the design which is meaningful.

Study on the Innovative Design of Graphic Design

With the advent of the informatian age, people are working to build a new knowledge network, knowledge of the past gradually pieced together again. The new knowledge network includes not only advanced science and technology, but also includes the historical and cultural value, emotion and sense of innovation. Graphic design is a spiritual and material reality and artistic, aesthetic and practical disciplines integrated with each other. Always take the old approach to their creative confined in a narrow space, and this will inevitably lead to failure. Ink Applied Research of Element Graphic Design Teaching in Intangible Cultural Context

With spreading and deepening of intangible cultural heritage protection movement in this century, Chinese ink art is among the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Institutions of higher education is an academic heritage, culture, communication, personnel training platform and carrier, we assume an important role in the protection of heritage and ink art. Modem design teaching is in order to better local cultural heritage, but also to change their design education, more and more traditional elements are used in the classroom student design works. This paper aims to cultural connotations of traditional Chinese ink painting itself carrying elements and aesthetic charm of the excavation, analysis and sorting, which will be teaching in their designs into modem art. The contemporary art and design are to make cultural connotation and aesthetic meaning, making a good combination of tradition and art.

Analysis of the Application of Ink Art in Graphic Design Imagery

The Design of a Graphical User Environment for Numerical Simulation of Powder Forming Processes

As computer simulation increasingly supports engine er ing design and manufacture, the requirement for a computer software environment providing an integration platform for computational engineering software increas es. A key component of an integrated environment is the use of computational eng ineering to assist and support solutions for complex design. Computer methods fo r structural, flow and thermal analysis are well developed and have been used in design for many years. Many software packages are now available which provi de an advanced capability. However, they are not designed for modelling of powde r forming processes. This paper describes the powder compaction software (PCS_SU T), which is designed for pre- and post-processing for computational simulatio n of the process compaction of powder. In the PCS_SUT software, the adaptive analysis of transient metal powder forming process is simulated by the finite element method based on deformation theories . The error estimates and adaptive remeshing schemes are applied for updated co -ordinate analysis. A generalized Newmark scheme is used for the time domain di scretization and the final nonlinear equations are solved by a Newton-Raphson p rocedure. An incremental elasto-plastic material model is used to simulate the compaction process. To describe the constitutive model of nonlinear behaviour of powder materials, a combination of Mohr-Coulomb and elliptical yield cap model is applied. This model reflects the yielding, frictional and densification char acteristics of powder along with strain and geometrical hardening which occurs d uring the compaction process. A hardening rule is used to define the dependence of the yield surface on the degree of plastic straining. A plasticity theory for friction is employed in the treatment of the powder-tooling interface. The inv olvement of two different materials, which have contact and relative movement in relation to each other, must be considered. A special formulation for friction modelling is coupled with a material formulation. The interface behaviour betwee n the die and the powder is modelled by using an interface element mesh. In the present paper, we have demonstrated pre- and post-processor finite elem ent software, written in Visual Basic, to generate the graphical model and visua lly display the computed results. The software consist of three main part: · Pre-processor: It is used to create the model, generate an app ropriate finite element grid, apply the appropriate boundary conditions, and vie w the total model. The geometric model can be used to associate the mesh with th e physical attributes such as element properties, material properties, or loads and boundary conditions. · Analysis: It can deal with two-dimensional and axi-symmetric applications for linear and non-linear behaviour of material in static and dyna mic analyses. Both triangular and quadrilateral elements are available in the e lement library, including 3-noded, 6-noded and 7-noded (T6B1) triangles and 4 -noded, 8-noded and 9-noded quadrilaterals. The direct implicit algorithm bas ed on the generalized Newmark scheme is used for the time integration and an aut omatic time step control facility is provided. For non-linear iteration, choice s among fully or modified Newton-Raphson method and quasi-Newton method, using the initial stiffness method, Davidon inverse method or BFGS inverse method, ar e possible. · Post-processor: It provides visualization of the computed resu lts, when the finite element model and analysis have been completed. Post-proce ssing is vital to allow the appropriate interpretation of the completed results of the finite element analysis. It provides the visual means to interpret the va st amounts of computed results generated. Finally, the powder behaviour during the compaction of a multi-level component is numerically simulated by the PCS_SUT software, as shown in Fig.1. A Study on the Influence of Patterned Logo Design on Brand Image-Focused on the Li Ning Brand

In today’s flood of information,people mainly rely on visual information to recognize brands.Pattern logo design is a representative brand image and directly affects consumers’brand impression and perception.The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of the Li Ning brand and the effect of pattern logo design on the brand image.Specifically,it is to provide practical guidelines for brand management and design by analyzing the effects on brand perception,emotional connection,and consumer behavior.For the scope of the study,seven brands are selected for analysis of famous brand cases at home and abroad.The research method is to design a patterned logo suitable for brand characteristics through literature review,empirical research,and detailed analysis of the overall style characteristics of the current Li Ning brand.The research content first analyzes the role of pattern logo design in terms of brand perception,brand perception,and brand sensitivity.Subsequently,the evolution and effect of the Li Ning brand in logo design are examined,and details are discussed in combination with the color and shape of the logo pattern.Finally,by presenting some suggestions and optimized design plans that fit the characteristics and trends of the Li Ning brand,the brand image and market competitiveness can be improved.According to the research results,first,the color,shape,and other factors of brand pattern logo design are closely related to brand image.Second,pattern logo design has a significant influence on consumer attitudes and purchase intentions.Third,consumers are more interested in the design of a patterned logo with high brand awareness.This study has a certain significance in that it reveals the mechanism by which pattern logo design affects brand image and provides useful ideas and suggestions for brand design and marketing.

Interactive Media Visual Interpretation of Traditional Chinese Graphics in Urban Public Spaces

This paper focuses on the application of interactive media technology in the visual interpretation of traditional graphic urban public spaces in China.Case studies and practical exploration show that interactive media technologies such as projection mapping,interactive devices,virtual reality technology,etc.,have realized the diversity of traditional graphics display forms in urban public space.The rich interactive experience design enhances the sense of participation and experience of urban citizens and tourists and promotes the visual culture transmission of traditional Chinese graphics.The future urban public space exhibition is destined to continue to deepen the integration of technology and graphics,promote the visual communication of traditional Chinese graphics visual interpretation in urban public space,and promote sustainable innovation in cultural output in urban public space exhibitions around the world.

The Principle of Square Hole Machining and It＇s Tooling Structure Design

In order to meet the rapid needs of processing square hole in mechanical equipment, the paper expounds the square hole processing method： planetary wheel method, and analyze the principle of tooling structure and process with computer graphics parameters design. The results that, as long as the appropriate parameters, using the above method not only can punch the square hole, can also be processed triangle, the five angle and hexagonal regular polygon holes. The square hole processing method can provide theoretical basis and engineering reliable reference for related engineering and technical personnel.

近年来,《Photoshop图形图像处理技术》课程在高职大部分专业里已作为一门基础专业课进行开设,据不完全统计,开设此专业课的有环境艺术设计专业、数字媒体应用技术专业、电子商务专业、计算机应用技术等专业。因不同专业面对学生的基础与未来就业方向的不同,从而对该课程的教学应用也不同。例如:环境艺术设计专业利用本课程学习彩色平面图的制作以及处理室内效果图的后期制作;数字媒体应用技术专业利用本课程学习不同主题广告作品的制作;电子商务专业利用本课程学习产品的修片及产品海报的制作;而计算机应用技术专业利用本课程学习UI设计。编者近些年从事了以上多专业关于《Photoshop图形图像处理技术》课程的教学。本文特从环境艺术设计专业出发,浅谈《Photoshop图形图像处理技术》课程在其专业中的教学应用案例分析。

试论高校平面设计专业课程群构建的目标与原则

本文基于我国艺术教育发展现状,对高校平面设计专业课程群构建的目标进行了分析,并结合其构建目标,分别提出了明确课程群整体规模、科学设定群内各课程、提高群内教师综合素养、加强实践训练基地建设、健全课程群评价机制等构建原则。旨在为平面设计专业课程体系建设与完善提供参考,进一步提高其专业教学效果与质量。
