Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations are performed to study the stability of structure H clathrate-hydrates of methane+large-molecule guest substance (LMGS) at temperatures of 270, 273, 278 and 280 K under canonic...Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations are performed to study the stability of structure H clathrate-hydrates of methane+large-molecule guest substance (LMGS) at temperatures of 270, 273, 278 and 280 K under canonical (NVT-) ensemble condition in a 3×3×3 structure H unit cell replica with 918 TIP4P water molecules. The studied LMGS are 2-methylbutane (2-MB), 2,3-dimethylbutane (2,3-DMB), neohexane (NH), methylcyclohexane (MCH), adamantane and tert-butyl methyl ether (TBME). In the process of MD simulation, achieving equilibrium of the studied system is recognized by stability in calculated pressure for NVT-ensemble. So, for the accuracy of MD simulations, the obtained pressures are compared with the experimental phase diagrams. Therefore, the obtained equilibrium pressures by MD simulations are presented for studying the structure H clathrate-hydrates. The results show that the calculated temperature and pressure conditions by MD simulations are consistent with the experimental phase diagrams. Also, the radial distribution functions (RDFs) of host-host, host-guest and guest-guest molecules are used to analysis the characteristic configurations of the structure H clathrate-hydrate.展开更多

Powder X ray diffraction, adsorption technique and infrared spectroscopy were used to characterize the pr...Silver iodide nanoclusters were successfully prepared in the channels of mordenite by a heat diffusion method. Powder X ray diffraction, adsorption technique and infrared spectroscopy were used to characterize the prepared materials, which showed that the guest silver iodide had been encapsulated in the channels of mordenite. The optical properties of the solid phase diffuse reflectance absorption of nanocomposite material NaM AgI were studied, showing that the absorption bands of the diffuse reflectance absorption of the prepared material moved to the region of high energy. The absorption peak of the material prepared shifted to the region of high energy. Namely, blue shift was caused. This has demonstrated the incorporation of silver iodide into the channels of the zeolite. We observed the luminescence and surface photovoltage spectra of NaM AgI sample, proposing the mechanisms of the photoluminescence and photovoltaic responses.展开更多

The "guest star" of AD185, recorded in the ancient Chinese history the Houhanshu, has been widely regarded as a supernova. However, some authors have suggested that the guest star might have been a comet. It has als...The "guest star" of AD185, recorded in the ancient Chinese history the Houhanshu, has been widely regarded as a supernova. However, some authors have suggested that the guest star might have been a comet. It has also been proposed that the record is the concatenation of a nova with a comet made by an early compiler. We have checked the record of the guest star, comparing it with records of comets in the same history. We find that most descriptions of comets clearly indicate motion, whereas the record of the guest star does not. We further argue that the term "yan" used to describe the star's "size" might be short for yanchuang (seat bed), and "half a yan" would be simply as an imaginary figuration of the ancient observer. Moreover, we show that the term "hou -year" (hou-nian) most probably means the year after next. We argue that the asterism Southern Gate consisted of the stars α andβ Cen. We conclude that the record describing the guest star of AD 185 is completely different from any comet record in the same history, and that it almost certainly was a supernova.展开更多
