Determinates of the competitiveness of provincial forest health care industry in China

Due to the late start of China’s forest health industry,related research is lagging behind,which results in the inability to propose a corresponding path to enhance competitiveness.Based on this,the evaluation index system of provincial forest health industry competitiveness was constructed by using the Porter diamond model,and the Entropy-TOPSIS model is used to evaluate the competitiveness of China’s provincial forest health industry,and the key influencing factors of the forest health industry competitiveness are identified by using the grey correlation analysis method,and the specific promotion path was designed.The empirical results show that the grey correlation degree between related and supporting industries and the competitiveness score of the forest health industry is the highest,which confirms that it is the key influencing factor of the competitiveness of the forest health industry.Therefore,government departments should vigorously promote the integration of cultural tourism,medical care,pension and other related industries with the forest health care industry;enterprises should strengthen the construction of forest health infrastr ucture and supporting facilities to improve the level of forest health services.

Investigating the Air Quality Parameters in Louisiana’s Industrial Corridor: A Baton Rouge Case Study

In a local context, sustainable development entails utilizing the current resources—material and immaterial, measurable and immeasurable, popular and unpopular—of the community in a manner that avoids overexploitation and ensures intergenerational equity. This approach prioritizes the safety and health of local citizens, placing communal productivity above corporate profitability. This research aims to assess air quality surrounding 28 chemical industry sites in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to understand the environmental and health impacts of industrial pollutants, with a focus on environmental justice. Air quality pollutants, including PM2.5, PM10, O3, NO2, CO, and SO2, were monitored for 75 days during the Summer, using the BreezoMeter app. Python, Mapize, and QGIS software technologies were utilized for data analysis and visualization. Findings indicate a reduction in NO2 and CO levels, compared to existing literature. However, the persistent challenge of particulate matter suggests areas for further environmental management efforts. Additionally, the research suggests a significant disparity in air pollution exposure, probably affecting marginalized communities. Although the nature of the study might not fully capture annual pollution trends, the findings highlight the urgent need for the chemical industry to adopt efficient production methods and for policymakers to enhance air quality standards and enforcement, particularly in pollution-sensitive areas. The disproportionate impact of air pollution on vulnerable communities calls for a more inclusive approach to environmental justice, ensuring equitable distribution of clean air benefits and community involvement in pollution management decisions.

The situation and development trend of health industrial park construction in China

[目的] 描述我国健康产业园区基本现状,总结园区发展模式,为园区未来发展提供理论基础. [方法]利用百度搜索、CNKI和万方数据库全面搜索国内健康产业园区的相关信息和文献资料,基于文献内容 分析法和案例分析法对园区信息进行归纳与分析.[结果]共检索到健康产业园区3 5 个,涉及 1 8个省市,最 早的园区于1994年创办,园区平均面积为16.82 km2,平均投资金额为140.9亿元.从管理运营、投融资、产 业类型、研发方面归纳了园区的不同发展模式,发现园区建设中的问题并提出未来发展趋势.[结 论 ]我国健 康产业园区正在蓬勃发展,但是仍然存在重复建设缺乏特色,监管机制尚不完善等问题,还需政府进-步完善 审批、优惠等政策,引导园区健康发展.

Integrated Development of Agricultural Recreation and Health and Wellness Industry in the Big Health Era

Deep integration of agricultural recreation and health and wellness industry is an inevitable choice for the development of China's agricultural recreation and the transformation and upgrading of the agricultural industry.The development of agricultural recreation and health and wellness industry is inseparable from the four dimensions:production,living,ecology,and life.Therefore,the integration of agricultural recreation and health and wellness industry should also be promoted from the four aspects:production content,living content,ecological content,and life content.At the current stage in China,insufficient integration of the two is mainly manifested as lagging infrastructure,insufficient effective supply,shallow cultural connotations,lack of professional talents,and incomplete industry chain.The path to promote the deep integration of China's agricultural recreation and health and wellness industry includes improving the recreation,health and wellness infrastructure and supporting facilities,developing specialty products and experience projects for recreation,health and wellness,building a brand of recreation,health and wellness culture,cultivating and introducing professional management and service talents,and planning systematic layout of the recreation,health and wellness industry.

Organic and Inorganic Mercury in Biological Samples of Flouresecent Lamp Industries Workers and Health Risks

Objective The present study aims to investigate the concentrations of Hg and its aspects methyl mercury(Me-Hg)and inorganic mercury(I-Hg)in the biological samples(BSs)of fluorescent lamp industries workers(FLIWs).Methodology Different BSs including red blood cells(RBCs),plasma,urine,hair and nails were collected from the workers exposed to Hg and unexposed persons were selected as control group to measure both the T-Hg concentration as well as its species in different biological samples through quantitative analysis.Health data was collected through questionnaire survey.Results The mean concentrations of T-Hg(31.9μg/L),Me-Hg(27.7μg/L),and I-Hg(5.36μg/L)in RBCs were found significantly(P<0.001)higher among the workers(n=40)as compared to the control group(n=40).Similarly the mean Hg concentrations in plasma,urine,hair and nails were also significantly higher among the workers than the control group.The statistical relation between Hg concentration and demographic characteristics observed that workers experience and fish consumption has increased the Hg concentration while age,weight and smoking found no significant effect on Hg concentration in the BSs.Conclusion The study observed that the workers were highly exposed to high concentration of Hg and they are at a high health risk.

Workplace Wellness,Mental Health Literacy,and Usage Intention of E-Mental Health amongst Digital Workers during the COVID-19

The prevalence of mental health problems in both Malaysian and global workplaces has significantly increased due to the presence of the coronavirus disease(COVID-19)pandemic,globalization,technology advancement in Industry 4.0,and other contributing factors.The pervasiveness of the issue poses a huge challenge to improving the occupational safety and health(OSH)of workers in various industries,especially in the digital industry.The emergence of the innovative industry is evident mainly due to the rapid development of Industry 4.0 and the rele-vant demands of multiple businesses in the digital transformation.Nonetheless,limited studies and academic dis-cussions were conducted on the OSH topic of digital employees.Hence,the current study serves tofill the existing gap and provide academic contributions by scrutinising the perceptions of digital workers regarding their work-place well-being,mental health literacy,and the impression of employing e-mental health.The objectives of this study are:1)To examine the mental health literacy and workplace wellness of digital workers,2)to explore the e-mental health usage intention and actual e-mental health utilization,and 3)to identify digital workers’feedback on e-mental health.In the current context,e-mental health focuses on three dimensions,namely,1)“health in our hand(HIOH)”,2)“interacting for health(IFH)”,and 3)“data enabling health(DEH)”.The present study employed an online cross-sectional survey and received 326 digital workers’completed responses.Variables,such as“mental health literacy(MHL)”,“workplace wellness(WW)”,and e-mental health intention and usage were explicated by analysing the data through descriptive statistics.The study results indicated a moderate to a high level of the MHL and the WW.More than half of the workers possessed a high intention level to employ e-mental health,with the HIOH dimension being the most prevalent domain.Nevertheless,the actual e-mental health usage was very low,owing to the online resources being a new concept amongst digital employees.Numerous confounding factors also existed in affecting the low usage,such as privacy concerns,data security levels,and health verification issues.In addition,the mental health issue has not been openly and widely discussed in Malay-sian workplaces due to stigmatisation.As such,the currentfindings could provide additional insights into the OSH literature;it could serve as a guideline for the OSH decision-makers,employers,and eHealth developers when establishing a feasible framework for the practical adoption of e-mental health services by digital workers.

The Influence of Socio-Demographic, Health and Work-Related Factors on Health-Related Quality of Life among Iranian Industrial Workers

Health-related quality of life (HRQOL) has not been investigated among Iranian industrial workers. The present paper aimed to study the influence of the socio-demographic, health and work-related factors on HRQOL among Iranian industrial workers. In this cross-sectional study, participants were 280 workers of two factories. The Persian version of World Health Organization Quality of Life-Brief (WHOQOL-BREF) was used to assess the HRQOL. A questionnaire was developed to assess the socio-demographic, health and work-related factors. Results showed that the means (SD) of physical health, psychological health, social relationships, and environment domains of HRQOL were 13.2 (2.7), 13.3 (2.6), 14.2 (3.5) and 12.6 (2.5), respectively. A multiple linear regression showed that types of job, exercise activity, working schedule, sleep quality, smoking, and conflict between work and social life were significantly associated with physical health domain;whereas, working schedule, marital status, working demand, sleep quality, BMI, and conflict between work and individual life were significantly associated with psychological health domain. Working schedule, working demand, sleep quality, conflict between work and individual life, and having children over two years were significantly associated with social relationship domain;however, working demand, working schedule, smoking, sleep quality, working hour, job satisfaction, marital status and exercise activity were significantly associated with environment domain. Collectively, work-related factors including unhealthy working conditions, unsafe working environments, long working hours, irregular working schedules, and the lack of occupational training may negatively influence the HRQOL of workers. To improve workers’ HRQOL, intervention programs should focus on improving work environment, working schedule, occupational training and restricting working hours.

Industrialization, Environment and Health:the Impacts of Industrial SO_2 Emission on Public Health in China

In this paper, we construct a model in which the impact of pollution on health is exerted through both direct and indirect channels. The indirect channel is captured by a production func-tion in which the principal health-improving factor, income growth, can be realized only in the cost of pollution increase. This model is then tested by the aggregated chronicle disease data in over 78 Chinese counties. Our results show, after attaining the threshold of 8 μg/m2, continuous increase in industrial SO2 emission density will lead the ratio of population suffering chronicle diseases, among which respiratory diseases occupy a significant proportion, to rise. However, owing to technological progress in pollution control activities, the needed SO2 emission to produce one unit of GDP diminishes with time. Therefore, the negative effect from pollution augmentation on public health seems to be recompensed more and more by the positive effect of economic growth.

PEST Analysis of the Comprehensive Health Industry Industry in the Context of Healthy China

基于工业互联网和区块链的“健康钱包”数据开放共享模式研究

现有健康数据共享模式面临效率低下、缺乏监管等诸多问题,无法满足国家对健康数据合规开放共享的要求,工业互联网和区块链技术的发展和应用为健康数据开放共享提供了新的路径。本研究通过引入这两种技术构建个人健康数据钱包,结合工业互联网高效的分布式数据管理及不依赖第三方公信力的特点,建立基于数据钱包的数据开放共享模式,实现对健康数据的可信流转,使患者能够更好地掌握和分享其健康信息。结果表明该数据开放共享模式可满足“数据不出域、可用不可见”要求,将健康数据所有权归还个人,有助于提高医疗服务连续性,能够为健康数据开放共享应用提供有益借鉴。

中国大健康产业统计分类与产业规模再测算

由于产业间深度融合,新业态、新模式持续涌现,健康产业的边界不断拓展,原有的健康产业统计分类已不能满足大健康产业的统计需要,官方统计也未测算出健康产业增加值,无法全面、及时反映大健康产业的发展状况。因此,文章首先在健康产业基础上从供给和需求角度界定并拓展大健康产业的内涵及外延;其次,在《健康产业统计分类(2019)》的基础上,基于国民经济核算理论,引入“大健康总产品”概念,聚焦“全生命周期”和“全人群”两个着力点,从全产业链产品供给及全口径人群健康需求两个视角探讨大健康产业统计分类标准,补充和完善大健康产业统计分类;最后,依据现有的投入产出表、经济普查及统计年鉴数据,计算各行业的大健康分离系数,据此推算我国大健康产业及健康服务业增加值。结果显示:2018年我国大健康产业增加值为10.27万亿元,其中健康服务业增加值为7.04万亿元,预测2020年、2030年健康服务业增加值分别为8.46万亿元、21.27万亿元,基本符合《“健康中国2030”规划纲要》对健康服务业发展规模的预期。
