A buck DC-DC switching regulator with high efficiency is implemented by automatically altering the modulation mode according to load current,and it can operate with an input range of 4.5 to 30 V.At light load current,...A buck DC-DC switching regulator with high efficiency is implemented by automatically altering the modulation mode according to load current,and it can operate with an input range of 4.5 to 30 V.At light load current,the converter operates in skip mode.The converter enters PWM mode operation with increasing load current.It reduces the switching loss at light load and standby state,which results in prolonging battery lifetime and stand-by time.Meanwhile, externally adjustable soft-start minimizes the inrush supply current and avoids the overshoot of output voltage at initial startup.The regulator is fabricated by a 0.6μm CDMOS process.The test results show that,under the condition of 3.3 V output,the efficiency is up to 64%at 5 mA and the maximum efficiency is 95.5%.展开更多

Royaldent Hit 85) coleoptiles. The R effect on time-dependent phototropism (TDP) was further studied by characterizing its fluence-response relationship. The results showed the R effect was a low-fluence-response, unlike those on pulse-induced phototropisms that show a very-low-fluence-response mode. A subsequent pulse of far-red light (FR) could reverse the R effect. TDP responsiveness, however, recovered as the following FR was extended, The FR-dependent increase in TDP responsiveness was obtained even coleoptiles were pretreated only with FR. It suggested that TDP responsiveness could also be established in response to a FR signal. The fluence-response relationship for the effect of FR was then investigated. The effect of FR depended on the time of irradiation and required high photon fluences. Because reciprocity was invalid at the higher fluence range, the effect of FR would be a high-irradiance-response mode. Relation between phytochrome action modes and possible multiple pathways for phototropic signal transduction was analyzed based on the experiment results.展开更多

The performance of the filter is investigated using finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method, and the results show that within a very short coupling distance of about 3λ, where ), is the wavelength of signal in vacuum, the incident signals with different frequencies are separated into different channels with a contrast ratio of 20 dB. A tunable circularly-po...Frequency tunability has become a subject of concern in the field of high-power microwave(HPM) source research.However, little information about the corresponding mode converter is available. A tunable circularly-polarized turnstilejunction mode converter(TCTMC) for high-power microwave applications is presented in this paper. The input coaxial TEM mode is transformed into TE(10) mode with different phase delays in four rectangular waveguides and then converted into a circularly-polarized TE(11) circular waveguide mode. Besides, the rods are added to reduce or even eliminate the reflection. The innovations in this study are as follows. The tunning mechanism is added to the mode converter, which can change the effective length of rectangular waveguide and the distance between the rods installed upstream and the closest edge of the rectangular waveguide, thus improving the conversion efficiency and bandwidth. The conversion efficiency of TCTMC can reach above 98% over the frequency range of 1.42 GHz–2.29 GHz, and the frequency tunning bandwidth is about 47%. Significantly, TCTMC can obtain continuous high conversion efficiency of different frequency points with the change of tuning mechanism.展开更多
