The test of wear in NG-x tester shows that the wear between the electromagnetic core and down magnetic board distributes in the high velocity slip region of reciprocating travel, and the adhesive wear in the low velocity slip region nearby up and down dead points is depressed owing to the presence of high flux magnetic field. The lubrication by magnetic fluid with high permeability effectively reduces the friction and wear of high flux rubbing pair, and improves the conducting property of magnetic circuit constructed by the rubbing pair, which is beneficial to increase the operation performance of magnetic driving mechanism.展开更多

The bottom surface of slipper pairs is rectangle, and the effect of squeeze flow and pressure differential flow is considered. The dynamic process of lubrication film formation through squeezing is numerically studied by computer simulation. Effects of supply pressure, initial lubrication film thickness, velocity damping coefficient, loading impact and gravity, etc are studied. Advantages of novel slipper pairs with large oil cavity area are pointed out.展开更多

We also point out that since the pairing phenomenon provides an additional source for these lines—the conventional source being the highly ionized high-Z atoms already existing in the solar atmosphere, we have a plausible explanation of the FIP effect.展开更多

Based on the phenomenological model and microscopic approach, it has been deduced that no s-boson in the nucleus is breaking up and aligning; and that when one d-boson does, the minimum aligned energy can be calculated. This paper explicitly indicates that, with the increase of neutron number, an evolution process of PPT objectes, i.e. from the two-quasi-proton states (on64Ge nucleus) to the two-quasi-neutron states (on 68Ge nucleus) may take place in even Ge isotopes.展开更多

Heisenberg exchange interaction between two (CuO4) plaquettes each containing a lattice hole binds the two holes which are the charge carriers in the cuprate superconductors. It is not very clear whether the hole-pair is in the triplet or singlet state, but the triplet state is supported by the experimental observation of ferromagnetism in the parent material CuO. The proposed hole-pair singlet is different from Zhang-Rice singlet.展开更多

It is a very powerful method to characterize the local structure of materials. With the help of the third generation synchrotron facility and spallation neutron source worldwide, the PDF method has developed quickly both experimentally and theoretically in recent years. Recently this method was successfully implemented at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF). The data quality is very high and this ensures the applicability of the method to study the subtle structural changes in complex materials. In this article, we introduce in detail this new method and show some experimental data we collected.展开更多
