In this article,a series of high refractive indices(1.50-1.53)thiol phenyl polysiloxane(TPS)were synthesized via hydrolytic sol-gel reaction.The Fourier transform infrared spectra(FT-IR)and nuclear magnetic resonance ...In this article,a series of high refractive indices(1.50-1.53)thiol phenyl polysiloxane(TPS)were synthesized via hydrolytic sol-gel reaction.The Fourier transform infrared spectra(FT-IR)and nuclear magnetic resonance spectra(NMR)results showed that TPS conformed to the predicted structures.Natural terpene linalool was exploited as photocrosslinker to fabricate UV-curing linalool-polysiloxane hybrid films(LPH)with TPS via photoinitiated thiol-ene reaction.LPH rapidly cured under UV irradiation at the intensity of 80 mW/cm^(2) in 30 s,exhibiting good UV-curing properties.The optical transmittance of LPH in the wavelength of 300-800 nm was over 90%,exhibiting good optical transparency.The water contact angle and water vapor permeability results showed that the introduction of phenyl groups enhance the hydrophobicity and water vapor barrier properties of LPH.The results indicated the potential of LPHs in the applications of optical functional coatings.展开更多

Film Mulching has been advocated as an effective means for conserving soil moisture in rice production. The effects of high density polyethylene (HDPE) film on increasing rice production, controlling weeds and residue amount of plastic were studied under five treatments, including 5, 10, 15 and 20 μm thickness as well as bare cultivation (CK). The results indicated that the HDPE film mulching mode had significant effects on weed control, soil temperature, soil moisture, photosynthetic rate, seedling biomass, yield and residues of plastic film. Combined with economic effect, it showed that the HDPE film of 10 μm is the best option for rice production.展开更多

Normal single side notched three point bend specimens and silica rubber replica techniques ...Crack opening displacement(COD) was applied to characterize the fracture initiation of the tough high density polyethylene. Normal single side notched three point bend specimens and silica rubber replica techniques were used to study the characteristic COD of high density polyethylene pipe and its butt fusion joints including the weld fusion zone and heat affected zone at different temperature from -78 ℃ to 20 ℃ . Testing results show that the characteristic COD appears to depend on the structural features that are determined by welding process and the testing temperature. As the temperature is lowered, the characteristic COD of all zones studied decreases. Because the welding process significantly changes some structural feature of the material, characteristic COD of the weld fusion zone is the smallest one among those of the three zones. The results can be used for the engineering design and failure analysis of HDPE pipe.展开更多
The flexible transparent supercapacitors have been considered as one of the key energy-storage components to power the smart portable electronic devices.However,it is still a challenge to explore flexible transparent ...The flexible transparent supercapacitors have been considered as one of the key energy-storage components to power the smart portable electronic devices.However,it is still a challenge to explore flexible transparent capacitive electrodes with high rate capability.Herein,conductive Ni3(HITP)2(HITP=2,3,6,7,10,11-hexaiminotriphenylene)thin films are adopted as capacitive electrodes in flexible transparent supercapacitors.The Ni3(HITP)2 electrode possesses the excellent optoelectronic property with optical transmittance(T)of 78.4%and sheet resistance(Rs)of 51.3Ωsq-1,remarkable areal capacitance(CA)of 1.63 mF cm^-2and highest scan rate up to 5000 mV s-1.The asymmetric Ni3(HITP)2//PEDOT:PSS supercapacitor(T=61%)yields a high CA of 1.06 mF cm^-2at 3μA cm-2,which maintains 77.4%as the current density increases by 50 folds.The remarkable rate capability is ascribed to the collaborative advantages of low diffusion resistance and high ion accessibility,resulting from the intrinsic conductivity,short oriented pores and large specific areas of Ni3(HITP)2 films.展开更多
