The increase of magnetic force usually leads to the decrease of current slew rate, which could increase the delay time of the dynamic response of solenoid valve. Using a high voltage to drive coil can solve this contradiction, but a high driving voltage can also lead to more cost and a decrease of safety and reliability. In this paper, a new scheme of parallel coils is investigated, in which the single coil of solenoid is replaced by parallel coils with same ampere turns. Based on the mathematic model of high speed solenoid valve, the theoretical formula for the delay time of solenoid valve is deduced. Both the theoretical analysis and the dynamic simulation show that the effect of dividing a single coil into N parallel sub-coils is close to that of driving the single coil with N times of the original driving voltage as far as the delay time of solenoid valve is concerned. A specific test bench is designed to measure the dynamic performance of high speed on/off solenoid valve. The experimental results also prove that both the delay time and switching time of the solenoid valves can be decreased greatly by adopting the parallel coil scheme. This paper examines temperature effects on the rheological properties of two types of high-density water-based drilling fluids (fresh water-based and brine-based) under high temperature and high pressure (HTHP) with a Fann 50SL rheometer. On the basis of the water-based drilling fluid systems formulated in laboratory, this paper mainly describes the influences of different types and concentration of clay, the content of a colloid stabilizer named GHJ-1 and fluid density on the rheological parameters such as viscosity and shear stress. In addition, the effects of aging temperature and aging time of the drilling fluid on these parameters were also examined. Clay content and proportions for different densities of brine-based fluids were recommended to effectively regulate the rheological properties. Four theological models, the Bingham, power law, Casson and H-B models, were employed to fit the rheological parameters. It turns out that the H-B model was the best one to describe the rheological properties of the high-density drilling fluid under HTHP conditions and power law model produced the worst fit. In addition, a new mathematical model that describes the apparent viscosity as a function of temperature and pressure was established and has been applied on site.展开更多

Moreover, traditional sampler systems with sample valves have difficulty in maintaining samples in situ pressure. However, decompression changes have effect on microorganisms sensitive to such stresses. To address the technical difficulty of collecting samples from hydrothermal vents, a new bidirectional high pressure-resistant sample valve with balanced poppet was designed. The sample valve utilizes a soft high performance plastic "PEEK" as poppet. The poppet with inapposite dimension is prone to occur to plastic deformation or rupture for high working pressure in experiments. To address this issue, based on the fmite element model, simulated results on stress distribution of the poppet with different structure parameters and preload spring force were obtained. The static axial deformations on top of the poppet were experimented. The simulated results agree with the experimental results. The new sample valve seals well and it can withstand high working pressure.展开更多

The nature of glaucoma was neovascular in 162 eyes, pseudophakic or aphakic in 49 eyes, inflammatory in 29 eyes and non working previous antiglaucomatic surgical interventions in 102 eyes. RESULTS: Follow-up ranged from 18 to 120m o with a mean follow-up of 63.2m o. IOP before the operation decreased from 31.6±10.4 mmHg to 18.3±5.4 mm Hg(no systemic treatment) at the end of follow up period. When we compared the IOP values before the operation using ANOVA showed statistically significant difference(P〈0.001). The success rate was 85.2% during the first semester, 76.8% at 12 mo and 50.3% at the end of follow up period(18 to 120 mo after implantation). Success rate was 25.7% in neovascular glaucoma, 63.2% in aphakic glaucoma and 73.8% in non working previous antiglaucomatic surgical interventions. Complications due to the implant were: serous choroidal detachment in 14.8%, blockage of the tube in 2.8%, malposition of the tube in 4.9%, suprachoroidal hemorrhage in 2.1%, cataract progression in 39.6%(phakic eyes), shallow anterior chamber in 9.2%, hyphaema in 28.9%, exposure of valve in 2.6%, exposure of tube in 9.3%, hypotony in 4.9% and conjunctival fibrosis in 41.5%.CONCLUSION: Despite the fact that Ahmed valve implant had suchlike results as other implants concerning the IOP control, complications rate due to hypotony or over filtration in the first days after the intervention are not that frequent as with other valve implants.展开更多

A method that tests the dynamic characteristics of the high speed on-off valve by the output pressure signal of the a-type half bridge is proposed. Having analyzed the factors related to the dynamic characteristics of an a-type half bridge, a rule for designing the outlet chamber's volume is worked out. According to the rule, a test stand is built to test the self-developed high-speed on-off valve. From the test results, it can be seen that with the outlet chamber's volume controlled by the rule the rise time of the pressure signals driven by signals with different frequencies changes very little. The test results conform to the simulation results, which nroves the correctness of the method.展开更多

Therefore, it is difficult for the valve to match the control precision of basis weight. Dynamic simulation research using Matlab/Simulink indicates that there is much more overshoot and fluctuating during the valve-positioning process. In order to improve the valve-positioning precision, the control method of trapezoidal velocity curve was studied. The simulation result showed that the positioning steady-state error was less than 0.0056%, whereas the peak error was less than 0.016% by using trapezoidal velocity curve at 10 positioning steps. A valve-positioning precision experimental device for the stepper motor of basis weight control valve was developed. The experiment results showed that the error ratio of 1/10000 positioning steps was 4% by using trapezoidal velocity curve. Furthermore, the error ratio of 10/10000 positioning steps was 0.5%. It proved that the valve-positioning precision of trapezoidal velocity curve was much higher than that of the constant frequency pulse signal control strategy. The new control method of trapezoidal velocity curve can satisfy the precision requirement of 10000 steps.展开更多

文摘There is a relatively complex flow state inside the high speed on-off valve, which often produces low pressure area and oil reflux in the high-speed opening and closing process of the spool, causing cavitation and vortex and other phenomena. These phenomena will affect the stability of the internal flow field of the plate valve and the flow characteristics of the high speed on-off valve.Aiming at the problems of small flow rate and instability of internal flow field,a new spool structure was designed. The flow field models of two-hole and three-hole plate spools with different openings were established, and software ANSYS Workbench was chosen to mesh the model. The standard k−εturbulence model was selected for numerical simulation using FLUENT software. The pressure distribution and velocity distribution under the same pressure and different opening degree were obtained. The structure and parameters of the optimization model were also obtained. The stability analysis of flow field under different pressure was carried out.The results demonstrate that the three-hole spool has a similar flow field change with the two-hole spool, but it does not create a low pressure zone, and the three-hole spool can work stably at 2 MPa or less. This method improves the appearance of low pressure area and oil backflow in the process of high speed opening and closing of spool. The stability of flow field and the flow rate of high speed switch valve are improved. Finally, the products designed in this paper are compared with existing hydraulic valve products. The results show that the three-hole plate type high speed on-off valve designed in this paper maintains the stability of the internal flow field under the condition of 200 Hz and large opening degree, and realizes the increase of flow rate.

文摘Sampling study is an effective exploration method, but the most extreme environments of hydrothermal vents pose considerable engineering challenges for sampling hydrothermal fluids. The new sample valve seals well and it can withstand high working pressure.
文摘High-pressure solenoid valve with high flow rate and high speed is a key component in an underwater driving system. However, traditional single spool pilot operated valve cannot meet the demands of both high flow rate and high speed simultaneously.A new structure for a high pressure solenoid valve is needed to meet the demand of the underwater driving system.A novel parallel-spool pilot operated high-pressure solenoid valve is proposed to overcome the drawback of the current single spool design.Mathematical models of the opening process and flow rate of the valve are established.Opening response time of the valve is subdivided into 4 parts to analyze the properties of the opening response.Corresponding formulas to solve 4 parts of the response time are derived.Key factors that influence the opening response time are analyzed.According to the mathematical model of the valve,a simulation of the opening process is carried out by MATLAB.Parameters are chosen based on theoretical analysis to design the test prototype of the new type of valve.Opening response time of the designed valve is tested by verifying response of the current in the coil and displacement of the main valve spool. The experimental results are in agreement with the simulated results, therefore the validity of the theoretical analysis is verified.Experimental opening response time of the valve is 48.3 ms at working pressure of 10 MPa.The flow capacity test shows that the largest effective area is 126 mm2 and the largest air flow rate is 2320 L/s.According to the result of the load driving test, the valve can meet the demands of the driving system. The proposed valve with parallel spools provides a new method for the design of a high-pressure valve with fast response and large flow rate.
文摘A hydraulic position system was designed employing two high speed On/Off solenoid valves with PWM(Pulse width modulation) technique and using LQ(Linear Quadratic) optimization principle. Based on the system, the parts of system can be formulated with equations. According to equations, the mathematical model of the system was established. By simulation, the corresponding LQ optimal controller was designed and the PWM signals were generated. The comparison of the simulation and experiment results show that LQ optimal control method with PWM technique employing high speed On/Off solenoid valve can provide better system performance and a high position precision is obtained.

文摘The structure and working principle of a self-deigned high pressure electronic pneumatic pressure reducing valve (EPPRV) with slide pilot are introduced. The resistance value formulas and the relationship between the resistance and pressure of three typical pneumatic resistances are obtained. Then, the method of static characteristics analysis only considering pneumatic resistances is proposed, the resistance network from gas supply to load is built up,and the mathematical model is derived from the flow rate formulas and flow conservation equations, with the compressibility of high pressure gas and temperature drop during the expansion considered in the model. Finally, the pilot spool displacement of 1.5 mm at an output pressure of 15MPa and the enlarging operating stroke of the pilot spool are taken as optimization targets, and the optimization is carried out based on genetic algorithm and the model mentioned above. The results show that the static characteristics of the EPPRV are significantly improved. The idea of static characteristics analysis and optimization based on pneumatic resistance network is valuable for the design of pneumatic components or system.
文摘AIM: To estimate the efficacy and safety of the Ahmed implant in patients with high risk for failure after glaucoma surgery.METHODS: In 342 eyes of 342 patients with refractory glaucoma, even with application of medical treatment, the Ahmed valve was introduced for intraocular pressure(IOP) control, in the period of the last 20y. Complications due to the implant were: serous choroidal detachment in 14.8%, blockage of the tube in 2.8%, malposition of the tube in 4.9%, suprachoroidal hemorrhage in 2.1%, cataract progression in 39.6%(phakic eyes), shallow anterior chamber in 9.2%, hyphaema in 28.9%, exposure of valve in 2.6%, exposure of tube in 9.3%, hypotony in 4.9% and conjunctival fibrosis in 41.5%.CONCLUSION: Despite the fact that Ahmed valve implant had suchlike results as other implants concerning the IOP control, complications rate due to hypotony or over filtration in the first days after the intervention are not that frequent as with other valve implants.

文摘A piezoelectric pump with flexible valve has been developed to pump high viscosity cooling liquid in the nanosats thermal control system. The structure of the flexible valve is designed according to the characteristics of the human aortic shape with the aim to simulate the bionic pumping function of the human heart. Dynamic stress-strain features of the flexible valve are analyzed by the finite element method, and the results show that the proposed flexible valve is suitable and functional for the piezoelectric pump. Then the cylinder and diffuser/nozzle piezoelectric pumps based on flexible valves have been developed and fabricated. Experimental results of the output performance indicate that the maximum flow rate of the cylinder piezoelectric pump with flexible valve is 15.38 mL/min,170.77% higher than the diffuser/nozzle piezoelectric pump with flexible valve. The ability of the cylinder piezoelectric pump with flexible valve for transmitting high viscosity liquid has been validated. The piezoelectric pump with flexible valve has potential applications in the nanosats thermal control system.
文摘According to the valve port features of high speed on-off valve and its actions, the valve port can be simplified into an a-type half bridge construction. The test results conform to the simulation results, which nroves the correctness of the method.

文摘Traditionally, basis weight control valve is driven by a constant frequency pulse signal. The new control method of trapezoidal velocity curve can satisfy the precision requirement of 10000 steps.
文摘A high-voltage optoelectronic probe is developed for measuring impulse voltage distribution along thyristor units in the HVDC converter valve. The dimension of the resistive voltage divider is optimized by means of numerical computation of electric field.A pulse frequency modulation(PFM) mode is adopted for the data transmission link because of its immunity to high-intensity electromagnetic interference.Experimental results indicate that the linearity deviation for the whole measuring system is within ±0.15%,and therefore it can meet requirements specified by IEC60700-1.

文摘In hydraulic area, independent metering control(IMC)technology is an effective approach to improve system efficiency and control flexibility. In addition, digital hydraulic technology(DHT)has been verified as a reasonable method to optimize system dynamic performance.Integrating these two technologies into one component can combine their advantages together. However, few works focused on it.In this paper,a twin spools valve with switching technologycontrolled pilot stage(TSVSP)is presented, which applied DHT into its pilot stage while appending IMC into its main stage.Based on this prototype valve,a series of numerical and experiment analysis of its IMC performance with both simulated load and excavator boom cylinder are carried out. Results showed fast and robust performance of pressure and flow compound control with acceptable fluctuation phenomenon caused by switching technology.Rising time of flow response in excavator cylinder can be controlled within 200 ms,meanwhile, the recovery time of rod chamber pressure under suddenly changed condition is optimized within 250 ms.IMC system based on TSVSP can improve both dynamic performance and robust characteristics of the target actuator so it is practical in valve-cylinder system and can be applied in mobile machineries.
