In order to solve the problem of inter-vehicle communication (IVC) in vast and desolate areas such as the desert and the Gobi, two vehicle network models are proposed. One is based on satellite communication and the other is based on high altitude platform ( HAP ) communication. The system outline and networking modes of the two models are described. In the satellite communication based model, all the vehicles are equipped with vehicle-bone satellite communication on the move terminals and the communication signals between vehicles are forwarded by satellite. In the high altitude platform-based model, the HAPs are equipped with base station facilities to form aerial base stations, and vehicles can communicate with each other via common terrestrial mobile communication devices. Some key parameters such as path loss, link loss and system capacity are also computed. The analysis shows that both the two models can satisfy the requirement of IVC in the descriptive environment. 展开更多

This study examines the impact of communication on investors’trading frequency based on a unique dataset drawn from a Chinese social trading platform.We find robust evidence that real-account portfolio owners on the platform trade more frequently under the influence of the comments posted by their leaders(the owners of portfolios they have followed).Moreover,portfolio owners are more sensitive to the quantity than to the tone of leaders’comments.Finally,both trading frequency and leaders’comments negatively impact portfolio owners’future performance.Our find-ings support the notion that social interaction promotes active investment strategies. 展开更多

In this study,we investigated the motion,shape,and delayed radiation intensity of a radioactive cloud by establishing a volume-source model of delayed radiation after high-altitude nuclear explosions.Then,the spatial distribution of electron number density at different moments on the north side of the explosion point generated by delayed γ-rays and delayed β-rays from the radioactive cloud under the influence of the geomagnetic field was calculated by solving chemical reaction kinetics equations.The impact of radio communication in the different frequency bands on the process of atmospheric ionization was also studied.The numerical results of the high-altitude nuclear explosion (120 km high and with a 1 megaton equivalent at 40°N latitude) indicated that the peak of electron number density ionized delayed γ-rays is located at a height of approximately 100 km and that of electron number density ionized delayed β-rays is about 90 km high.After 1 min of explosion,the radio communication in the medium frequency (MF) and high-frequency (HF)bands was completely interrupted,and the energy attenuation of the radio wave in the very high-frequency (VHF)band was extremely high.Five minutes later,the VHF radio communication was basically restored,but the energy attenuation in the HF band was still high.After 30 min,theVHF radio communication returned to normal,but its influence on the HF and MF radio communication continued. 展开更多

Good training and an expanded concern for the accuracy of messages should distinguish between fact and fiction, and between information and opinion. The smart phone, the iPod, the lap top, or the tablet has expanded the means of communication. They have also diversified the types of messages circulated. The traditional main stream media outlets are facing a mounting competition from the social networks populated with the folk journalists, albeit, and non-professionals. Basic training of all those willing to come into the communication ring and regulations may concern not only the professionals but also the amateurs, and it may be ways to get over what seems to be a deadlock. 展开更多

In this study,a mathematical model of multipath channels is established,and the delay parameters of 10-path models are calculated at 300 m.A multipath-channel hardware simulator based on a field programmable gate array(FPGA)is designed and verified at 100 k Hz,200 k Hz,500 k Hz,1 MHz,and 24 MHz transmission frequencies.According to the characteristics of the ocean induction coupling chain channel,the orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing(OFDM)algorithm parameters are designed by referring to the wireless communication protocol.The appropriate length cyclic prefix(CP)is added in the OFDM symbol to resist the multipath effect of the seawater channel,and the FPGA hardware transceiver based on the OFDM algorithm is realized.The hardware platform of the ocean induction coupling chain communication system is developed to resist the multipath effect of the seawater channel and tested at 24 MHz.The experimental results show that 800 ns is the best CP length for the developed system,which can effectively resist the multipath effect,with a signal-to-noise ratio above 24 d B and a bit error rate below 1%.This study provides a hardware simulation test platform and an effective method to resist the multipath effect of a seawater channel and improve the transmission performance of the seawater channel. 展开更多

These communication services require different QoS quality of service parameters. The airspace communication network based on spacecraft has a wide range of applications in regional information enhancement and emergency communication. In this paper, a routing algorithm for congestion degree detection of multipath routing (CD_AOMDV) is proposed. The method of combining the whole congestion degree detection and local congestion degree detection before service initiation is adopted. Timely and accurate judgment of the congestion degree reduced the loss rate of the hot nodes, so the average packet loss rate reduced. Simulation results show that compared with the traditional AOMDV protocol, the CD_AOMDV proposed in this paper has reduced the packet loss and improved delay performance, which is more suitable for the airspace communication network. 展开更多

Satellite-to-ground terahertz communication is limited by the power of signal source and antenna gain level,and has large path loss,which is difficult to implement.In this paper,a feasible scheme of satellite-to-ground terahertz communication using High Altitude Platforms(HAPs)as relay is presented,and the path loss on terahertz communication links is modeled and analyzed.Combined with the path loss model,the transmission loss along HAP-to-ground paths under different seasons and complex weather environment in Ali,Xizang,China is calculated.The results show that the transmission characteristics of terahertz waves in winter and summer are significantly different,mainly reflected in the number and bandwidth of usable atmospheric windows.Furthermore,the additional attenuation caused by the typical sand dust and ice cloud environment on terahertz band can reach 6.1 dB and 1.9 dB at the maximum respectively.With the aid of high gain antenna,the usable communication frequencies of the HAP-to-ground links in winter are significantly more than those in summer.When the transmitting and receiving antenna gain is 40 dBi respectively,the usable communication frequency can reach 1.35 THz in winter,while it is limited to less than 1 THz in summer,up to 0.493 THz. 展开更多

An inevitable trend has already taken shape for the application of the 5th Generation Mobile Communication Technology(5G)in the railway sector.The application scenarios and business types of the railway sector are complex and diverse,so it is indispensable to test and verify the railway 5G before actual deployment.The design and creation of the railway 5G integrated innovation test platform provides engineering design,test and verification conditions for the networking,coverage and business development of 5G public networks and 5G-R in railway scenarios.This paper introduces the design of the overall architecture for the integrated railway 5G innovation test platform according to the railway network requirements,application scenarios and intelligent development trend;respectively elaborates on the design of the 5G-R core network,bearer network and wireless access along loop tracks,in combination with the characteristics of railway scenarios and the requirements of railway dispatching,operation and safety;raises further solutions on the network deployment and coverage schemes of 5G public networks so as to meet the application requirements of 5G public networks.The study results show that the integrated railway 5G innovation test platform scheme contains co-existence of 5G public and private networks,combines the indoor and outdoor scenarios,as well as takes into account of the dynamic and static tests so as to meet the environmental requirements for the integrated railway 5G test and application of all network functions,for which it can provide comprehensive technical support for railway 5G technology research and development,standard formulation,testing,etc. 展开更多

This paper discusses in depth the current situation of cultural communication of Chinese online micro-short dramas,the challenges they face,and the strategies for guiding values.With the rapid development of Internet technology,online micro-short dramas,as an emerging form of cultural communication,have rapidly risen to become an important force in the field of cultural communication in China with their short,concise,diversified contents and rapid dissemination.This paper first defines the definition and characteristics of online microshort dramas,and analyzes their current situation in cultural communication,including the significant improvement in quantity and quality,rich and diversified content themes,and a wide range of audience groups.However,the rapid development of online microshorts also faces challenges such as insufficient content innovation,serious homogenization,unsound regulatory mechanism,and ambiguous value orientation.To address these issues,this paper proposes value-oriented strategies including strengthening policy guidance and supervision,enhancing creators'quality and sense of responsibility,optimizing platform content ecology and recommendation mechanism,strengthening audience education and guidance,and promoting the deep integration of industry,academia,research and application.Through case studies and theoretical discussions,this paper aims to provide effective value guidance paths for the cultural dissemination of online micro-dramas,and to promote their development in a more healthy and positive direction. 展开更多

The emergence of aerial platforms especially the low altitude platforms(LAPs) indicates a stable and reliable direction for the development of emergency network. Hybrid satellite-aerial-terrestrial(HSAT) networks have the ability to provide effective services rather than traditional infrastructures during the emergency situation. In this paper, the aerial platforms and the HSAT networks are surveyed and the key technologies are discussed from several aspects. The challenges of the HSAT networks are also outlined finally. 展开更多
