The low-pass fi ltering eff ect of the Earth results in the absorption and attenuation of the high-frequency components of seismic signals by the stratum during propagation.Hence,seismic data have low resolution.Considering the limitations of traditional high-frequency compensation methods,this paper presents a new method based on adaptive generalized S transform.This method is based on the study of frequency spectrum attenuation law of seismic signals,and the Gauss window function of adaptive generalized S transform is used to fi t the attenuation trend of seismic signals to seek the optimal Gauss window function.The amplitude spectrum compensation function constructed using the optimal Gauss window function is used to modify the time-frequency spectrum of the adaptive generalized S transform of seismic signals and reconstruct seismic signals to compensate for high-frequency attenuation.Practical data processing results show that the method can compensate for the high-frequency components that are absorbed and attenuated by the stratum,thereby eff ectively improving the resolution and quality of seismic data. 展开更多

High-frequency trading(HFT)practices in the global financial markets involve the use of information and communication technologies(ICT),especially the capabilities of high-speed networks,rapid computation,and algorithmic detection of changing information and prices that create opportunities for computers to effect low-latency trades that can be accomplished in milliseconds.HFT practices exist because a variety of new technologies have made them possible,and because financial market infrastructure capabilities have also been changing so rapidly.The U.S.markets,such as the National Association for Securities Dealers Automated Quote(NASDAQ)market and the New York Stock Exchange(NYSE),have maintained relevance and centrality in financial intermediation in financial markets settings that have changed so much in the past 20 years that they are hardly recognizable.In this article,we explore the technological,institutional and market developments in leading financial markets around the world that have embraced HFT trading.From these examples,we will distill a number of common characteristics that seem to be in operation,and then assess the extent to which HFT practices have begun to be observed in Asian regional financial markets,and what will be their likely impacts.We also discuss a number of theoretical and empirical research directions of interest. 展开更多

In this paper,an efficient technique for removing strip noise from remote sensing images is proposed in order to better retain image details.Firstly,the remote sensing image with strip noise is decomposed by wavelet technology;Secondly,two variational models are constructed,stripe preserve variation model and a destriping variation model.In order to efficiently separate the detail information in the low level high-frequency component,the stripe preserve variation model eliminates the detail information from the low level high-frequency component(including strip noise)while maintaining the strip noise(including strip noise).In order to successfully save the details in the high level high-frequency component,the destriping variation model eliminates the strip noise in the high level high-frequency component(including the strip noise).Finally,wavelet reconstruction is used to get the denoised image.It is clear from a comparison with previous approaches that the suggested method not only successfully removes strip noise but also preserves image details. 展开更多

In this paper,we propose a modular multilevel converter(MMC)with a wireless magnetic power decoupling approach suitable for medium-voltage high-power variable-speed machine drives.Our proposed power decoupling approach is independent of the operating frequency,which solves the issue of wide fluctuations of low-frequency voltage ripple components in submodule(SM)capacitors,especially at low-speed operations without using any ripple power capacitor.Employing wireless magnetic elements reduces the amount of high-voltage insulation between the transformer windings,resulting in a significant reduction in the overall size of the system.The basic idea of our proposed approach is to magnetically couple the instantaneous three-phase ripple power of each of the three adjacent-arm SMs.The proposed MMC is free from low-frequency capacitors,resulting in enhanced system reliability,volume,and lifetime.The operation principles of the proposed MMC are explained,and a control design is introduced.The performance of the proposed scheme was verified via simulation and experimental tests. 展开更多

A new algorithm was developed for arcing fault detection based on high-frequency current transients analyzed with wavelet transforms to avoid automatic reclosing on permanent faults. The characteristics of arc currents during transient faults were investigated. The current curves of transient and permanent faults are quite similar since current variation from the fault arc is much less than the voltage variation. However, the fault current details are quite different because of the arc extinguishing and reigniting. Dyadic wavelet transforms were used to identify the current variation since wavelet transform has time-frequency localization ability. Many electric magnetic transient program (EMTP) simulations have verified the feasibility of the algorithm. 展开更多

A new method of depositing an insulating multifunctional oxide coating on metal particles was developed.Such coatings increase corrosion resistance and insulate metal particles from each other.On base of capsulated by oxide coating water-atomized iron powder ASC100.29,new composite soft magnetic materials were synthesized,which are able of replacing electrical steel in devices.Structural,electromagnetic properties and corrosion characte-ristics of the obtained composites were studied.It was found that the synthesized composite materials have low elec-tromagnetic losses,high values of magnetic induction(up to 2.1 T)and good corrosion resistance.The results demon-strate that the use of such materials in power supplies,c hokes,transformers,stators and rotors of electric machines and other products ensures their stable operation under various conditions. 展开更多
