Research on the Relationship between the School-Running Characteristics of Private Colleges and Universities and the Development Objectives of the Government

The development objectives of the Chinese government have a guiding effect on the school-running characteristics of private colleges and universities.This paper explores the relationship between the characteristics of private colleges and universities and the development objectives of the provincial government,using Jiangsu Province as a case study.All the schools have the consciousness of fully considering the development objectives of Jiangsu Province when formulating the school-running characteristics.Their characteristics all contain some training methods,training courses,or institutional construction aiming at the development objectives.Most universities can support the government’s objectives on employment and innovation.Only a third of the schools provide government support for science research.Private colleges and universities should make full use of the free and flexible advantages of private education,combine them with the continuous changes of policies and markets,and create clear,scientific,and dynamic school-running characteristics,in order to achieve long-term development.

Characteristic Changes Defined via Comparison of the Big-Five Personalities in Japanese University Freshmen from Years 2000 to 2016

Introduction: With the arrival of the 21st century, drastic worldwide changes to natural, economic and social events have occurred. These include the Great East Japan Earthquake, and the global financial crisis. Furthermore, Japan experienced the introduction of a specific education system. In this study, we traced and compared the psychological characters of university freshmen for 16 years (years 2000-2016) using Big-Five personalities inventory (Japanese version). Methods: A total of 1189 physically and mentally healthy university freshmen participated in this study. They were divided into four groups according to the year they entered university. They completed a self-filled questionnaire, Big-Five personalities inventory, which consists of Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism, Conscientiousness and Openness. Result and Discussion: Compared with the year 2008, Extraversion nominally increased in 2012, however, it statistically significantly decreased in 2016. Agreeableness notably decreased from 2000 to 2008, then showed an increase in 2012. Compared to 2000, Neuroticism was statistically significantly lower in 2008 and 2016. Such statistically significant differences were not observed in the other two personalities. The personalities of university freshmen have changed in the last 16 years, which may be been caused by drastic changes. However, further research (e.g., larger-scale studies or studies including other university students) is required to support the current findings.

Reflections on the Cultural Ecology of University Classrooms in the Perspective of Postmodernism

The cultural ecology of university classroom has been influenced by postmodernism and has shown complex and variable characteristics.Specifically speaking,it tends to be both conflicting and interactive in terms of subject relations in the classroom,fragmented and diversified in terms of classroom teaching,and redundant and dynamic in terms of classroom assessment.In order to further harmonize and develop the cultural ecology of university classrooms,it is necessary to expand the space for communication and interaction between teachers and students,improve the overall professional quality of faculty members,and perfect the management and assessment system for university teachers and students.

Master Plan of Characteristic Towns from Universal Viewpoint:A Case study of Guzhu Town

Characteristic town has became an important carrier for urban-mral integration. Based on the multiple compounding of the charactemtic town planning, it is significant to combine tiie universal viewpoint widi traditional small town planning. This paper by combining with “universaT viewpoint introduced the transformation of traditional small town planning in theory and practice, and combed the planning stategies from the 4 a^ects of “all level”,“all space”, “all element^,and “all dimension”. Based on the master plan of Guzhu Town in Heyuan, specific strategies were put forward from the 6 dimensions of resoutce analysis, spatial layout, industtiai construction, traffic connection, ecological control and system update, to provide references for the planning of characteristic towns.

Analysis of the Characteristics of Campus Landscapes

Through analyzing the construction and present situation of campus landscapes in China, primary issues to be focused in the construction of campus landscape system were elaborated, and 6 dominant factors in constructing characteristic campus landscapes were proposed from the perspectives of regional characteristics, characteristics of the times, cultural context, characteristics of humanity, ecological characteristics and school-based features.

Reaching for the Gold Standard: Metaphors and Good University Teachers

This article considers "good" teachers in the context of current developments in universities in China to reach a "gold standard" of considerably higher and more challenging levels of teaching and learning. We outline this context and consider concepts of good teachers in classical Chinese traditions and more recent Western thinking as a possible dialogue within and between cultures of learning. Using cognitive and cultural linguistic perspectives, we analyze metaphorical concepts of "gold" in "the gold standard" as related to teachers. We report our applied metaphor research which analyzes Chinese students’ expectations, values and beliefs about good university language teachers;this presents a rich picture beyond developing knowledge, skills and understanding to include strong social and moral characteristics. Other aspects which recognize the complexity of "good" teachers show a student appreciation of teachers’ tireless effort, devotion and selfless sacrifice: these aspects are absent in many discussions of good teachers. The participant-centered picture from elicited metaphor analysis is part of students’ "cultures of learning," but this should be developed culturally for the gold standard through further teacher development and student engagement. In line with interaction in cultures of learning, we indicate some classroom ways to extend students’ thinking through scaffolding teacher-student interaction based on textbook activities.

Relationship between Students’ Personality and Mental Health at University of Guilan (Faculty of Humanities)

The main goal of this research was the scrutiny of relationship between students’ personality characteristics and mental health at the University of Guilan. The population was the students of the Faculty of Humanities in 2009 with 3000 which 196 were selected using Kerjeci & Morgan table and stratified sampling method. They answered to the NEO and GHQ questionnaires. Results showed that there was relationship between personality characteristic of neurotic, openness, extraversion and being conscionable with mental health. Meanwhile, openness had the highest and extraversion with the lowest correlation scale and most of students (65%) had low mental health. Also, there were no significant differences among students with respect to different courses but significant difference with respect to gender and age.

Research on the Traveling Characteristics and Comparison of Bike Sharing in College Campus-A Case Study in Hangzhou

Bike sharing emerging from college campus in China's Mainland has become a major part in the daily traveling of Chinese urban residents.It changes the traveling behavior of urban residents,and simultaneously,raises higher requirements on urban transportation facility construction and management.However,the return of bike sharing to college campus causes more troubles to schools.The fundamental cause is the closed peculiarity of campus traveling comparing with city traveling,and also the discrepancy between college campuses of different types.This paper investigates the traveling characteristics of bike sharing in college campus in three different locations in Hangzhou City,Zhejiang Province of China in the questionnaire,and compares the discrepancy with urban bike sharing traveling characteristics and the discrepancy in bike sharing use between college campuses of different types.From the perspective of parking,maintenance and operation,and hardware design,the paper eventually raises suggestions to optimize independent college campus bike sharing service facility and management consistent with urban system.The research may also offer beneficial reference to the release of bike sharing facilities consistent with urban system in all sorts of independent parks,especially college campus.

新时代法学基本范畴的重构——构建中国自主法学知识体系要论

在新时代背景下对法学基本范畴的内涵和体系进行重构,是构建中国自主法学知识体系的“成事之要”。“政治新时代”和“科技新时代”的到来,为法学基本范畴的重构提供了背景和动因。法学基本范畴从法学学科体系看构成了近代法律科学的“通用语汇”,从法学学术体系看可谓是法学理论创新的“思想芯片”,从法学话语体系看形塑了中国法学对外传播的“基本语法”。为了重构法学基本范畴,一方面要进行理论上的融会贯通,即贯通马克思主义、中华传统优秀法治文明和西方优秀法治文化三个传统,另一方面要对历史和当下的法治实践予以归纳提炼,并通过建构性解释上升为法学概念和范畴。重构的核心任务在于构筑兼具普遍性与中国性的法学基本范畴体系,为此既要加强对原创性概念和范畴的研究,也要加强对普遍法学概念和范畴的新内涵的研究,并按科学严密的内在结构构筑起以“法”和“法治”为核心、兼具静态性和动态性的二元法学基本范畴体系。

A Research on Management of High-level Talents in Colleges and Universities of ZUNYI Normal University

High-level talent is an important part of the university talent strategy,how to effectively manage high-level talent is the most important issue at present.Especially located in the western mountainous area“ZUNYI Normal College”such as colleges and universities,funding sources,poor research conditions and other disadvantages led to the poor attractiveness of the university’s talent,the phenomenon of serious brain drain,high-level talent management systematic research has a greater theoretical significance and important practical significance.This paper combines ZUNYI Normal College’s own schooling characteristics,summarizes the ZUNYI Normal College high-level talent management problems exist in the main social factors,school factors,the talent’s own factors and other factors in three major aspects,respectively,from the government,schools and talents from the individual three perspectives to propose management strategies and countermeasures.

四凸极液冷电磁缓速器数值模拟与实验研究

为解决中重型车辆长下坡时因主制动器频繁工作导致其制动效能严重衰退问题,提出一种四凸极液冷电磁缓速器结构。建立车辆下坡动力学模型分析制动需求,采用等效磁路法对其制动力矩进行计算,使用有限元法对其制动特性进行数值分析。利用分级变论域模糊控制策略结合缓速器进行车辆下坡时的制动控制,使用MATLAB/Simulink建立控制器和整车长下坡制动模型并进行联合仿真。设计了2100 N·m样机,通过台架实验和车载道路实验对样机制动特性进行测试,实际测量值与分析计算值基本一致,平均误差在5%内,在转速为1250 r/min时制动力矩可达2200 N·m,满足中重型车辆制动需求。
