Talent management(TM)is the current buzzword for organisations that want to attain competitive advantage globally,including Saudi Arabia.The present study explores the status and the emergence of TM in Saudi Arabia in...Talent management(TM)is the current buzzword for organisations that want to attain competitive advantage globally,including Saudi Arabia.The present study explores the status and the emergence of TM in Saudi Arabia in the last few years based on reviewing the pre-existing literature.In addition,an insight into the challenges specific to the management of talent in Saudi Arabia is discussed.Due to the traditional and conservative society of Saudi Arabia,along with its governmental policies such as Saudization and the Nitaqat system,it has become extremely challenging for private organisations to employ TM practices.This study provides insights into various TM practices employed in Saudi Arabia;however,none of the studies have provided any information about the types of TM practices to be employed for a better and more efficient organisational performance in the context of Saudi Arabia.It is concluded that the practice of TM in Saudi Arabia is extremely selective in private organisations and can be considered to be in its infancy.Moreover,the gaps in the research in these areas are identified,and based on those,recommendations are made for the scope of future work.This study contributes to a critical understanding on the suitable TM practices that can be applied in Saudi Arabia as well.It provides insights assisting to further research and practical applications.Our study finds its relevance among TM academicians,human resource(HR)departments,policy makers,government agencies,talent managers,and employers who are either already functional in Saudi Arabia or are planning to open business processes in Saudi Arabia in the near future.This can act as a strategic development when collaborated appropriately with the government authorities.展开更多

The discussion about the relation between HRM, talent management/talent pool, training and development, and HR preparation for leader's candidates (succession) required by every organization to maintain its existence and competitive advantage, is raised in this paper, using literatures/content analyzes and descriptive explanation. Based on the analysis, HRM in the future should be involved more directly in overall people-related business process in order to support the competitive advantage of organization. The role of HRM is no longer limited to the administration, but has shii^ed into a strategic partner and change agent. Talent management can be applied to the fields of business and education in order to achieve superior performance. Appropriate talent management can be used as a strategy to improve organizational performance. Talent management application that is consistent with the goals, strategies, and values of the organization will provide a positive impact on organizational performance.

文摘At the end of 2021 to create a new model of characteristic software talent training for independent and controllable key software fields,the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly approved the establishment of the first batch of 33 Characteristic Pilot Schools of software.As a member of characteristic software schools,the HIT School of Software has been approved and will focus on the construction of 2 characteristic directions,which are large-scale industrial software and industrial professional application software.In order to achieve the goal,it is urgent to develop a comprehensive management platform to control the entire process of talent training,so that we can standardize,modelling,and digitized the entire process of characteristic software talent training.By relating all aspects of student training with and implementing the ability-index mechanisms,we will continuously collect big-data of the entire process of student growth,and generate multidimensional student ability portraits for evaluating the effect of talent training,and adjust as well as optimizing the growth path for students themselves during their studying.Employers will be able to identify talents accurately and provide effective reference for colleges to adjust training plans.This paper will analyze the needs of the platform,provide demand analysis of the platform,extract the correlation model between training,conclude the relations between ability-index activities and ability indicators,and give a reasonable overall system design scheme.
文摘Talent management(TM)is the current buzzword for organisations that want to attain competitive advantage globally,including Saudi Arabia.The present study explores the status and the emergence of TM in Saudi Arabia in the last few years based on reviewing the pre-existing literature.In addition,an insight into the challenges specific to the management of talent in Saudi Arabia is discussed.Due to the traditional and conservative society of Saudi Arabia,along with its governmental policies such as Saudization and the Nitaqat system,it has become extremely challenging for private organisations to employ TM practices.This study provides insights into various TM practices employed in Saudi Arabia;however,none of the studies have provided any information about the types of TM practices to be employed for a better and more efficient organisational performance in the context of Saudi Arabia.It is concluded that the practice of TM in Saudi Arabia is extremely selective in private organisations and can be considered to be in its infancy.Moreover,the gaps in the research in these areas are identified,and based on those,recommendations are made for the scope of future work.This study contributes to a critical understanding on the suitable TM practices that can be applied in Saudi Arabia as well.It provides insights assisting to further research and practical applications.Our study finds its relevance among TM academicians,human resource(HR)departments,policy makers,government agencies,talent managers,and employers who are either already functional in Saudi Arabia or are planning to open business processes in Saudi Arabia in the near future.This can act as a strategic development when collaborated appropriately with the government authorities.

文摘The structural scarcity of international talents in tourism industry has become the bottleneck restricting tourism cooperation community of“the Belt and Road”countries and regions,and“the Belt and Road”regional tourism cooperation community has forced the cultivation and promotion of tourism management professionals.Therefore,the research on cultivation and promotion path of international tourism management professionals in“the Belt and Road”regions has become a hot topic in theoretical and practical circles.“The Belt and Road”initiative is put forward to force the innovation of international talent training mode of tourism management major.After investigation,the existing problems in the development of tourism management undergraduate major in colleges and universities are accurately grasped.Eventually,the international talent training mode of tourism management major in“the Belt and Road”regions is innovated from the following aspects:reforming mutual recognition credit system and international enrollment system,innovating the concept of personnel training,reforming practical talents system,innovating curriculum system,and establishing cultivation and promotion path platform for international talents.
