The proposed control strategy is developed on the basis of integral sliding mode philosophy, which combines conventional sliding mode control and a linear quadratic regulator over a finite time interval with a free-final-state and allows the finite-time establishment of a high-order sliding mode. Firstly, a second-order sliding mode attitude controller is designed in the proposed high-order siding mode control framework. Then, to address the control chattering problem, a virtual control is introduced in the control design and hence a third-order sliding mode attitude controller is developed, leading to the chattering reduction as well as the control accuracy improvement. Finally, simulation examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.展开更多

In order to analyze the dynamic property of roll system's flexural deformation, it is necessary to consider the transverse periodic movement of stock in the rolling deformation area which is caused by the flexural deformation movement of roll system simul- taneously. Therefore, the displacement field of roll system and flow of metal in the deformation area is described by kinematic analysis in the dynamic system. Through intro- ducing the lateral displacement function of metal in the deformation area, the dynamic variation of per unit width rolling force can be determined at the same time. Then the coupling law caused by the co-effect of rigid movement and flexural deformation of the system structural elements is determined. Furthermore, a multi-parameter coupling dynamic model of the roll system and stock is established by the principle of virtual work. More explicitly, the cou- pled motion modal analysis was made for the roll system. Meanwhile, the analytical solutions for the flexural defor- mation movement's mode shape functions of rolls are discussed. In addition, the dynamic characteristic of the lateral flow of metal in the rolling deformation area has been analyzed at the same time. The establishment ofdynamic lateral displacement function of metal in the deformation area makes the foundation for analyzing the coupling law between roll system and rolling deformation area, and provides a theoretical basis for the realization of the dynamic shape control of steel strip.展开更多

This interaction is found to be relatively long range in wave-number space and also it acts in both directions, i.e. short wavelengths affect long wavelengths and vice versa. There is no simple equivalent transformation from a band of similar modes to one mode representing their effective amplitude. Three distinct stages of interaction have been identified.展开更多

This current study utilizes the relationship between the vibronic coupling and the degree of charge-transfer to explain the differences of Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) enhancements. Our study shows a direct correlation between the degree of charge-transfer and vibronic coupling. This relationship suggests that charge-transfer between the N-719 dye and TiO2 due to vibronic coupling plays a fundamental role in SERS enhancements. Furthermore, this study shows a strong dependence of the enhancements of the N-719 dye molecular modes to that of the surface modes. This indicates that the mechanism that governs the enhancements of the surface modes in TiO2 crystals most likely also dictates the enhancements of the N-719 dyes.展开更多

文摘The shear failure of intact rock under thermo-mechanical(TM)coupling conditions is common, such as in enhanced geothermal mining and deep mine construction.Under the effect of a continuous engineering disturbance,shear-formed fractures are prone to secondary instability, posing a severe threat to deep engineering.Although numerous studies regarding three-dimensional(3D)morphologies of fracture surfaces have been conducted, the understanding of shear-formed fractures under TM coupling conditions is limited. In this study, direct shear tests of intact granite under various TM coupling conditions were conducted, followed by 3D laser scanning tests of shear-formed fractures.Test results demonstrated that the peak shear strength of intact granite is positively correlated with the normal stress, whereas it is negatively correlated with the temperature. The internal friction angle and cohesion of intact granite significantly decrease with an increase in the temperature. The anisotropy, roughness value, and height of the asperities on the fracture surfaces are reduced as the normal stress increases, whereas their variation trends are the opposite as the temperature increases. The macroscopic failure mode of intact granite under TM coupling conditions is dominated by mixed tensileeshear and shear failures. As the normal stress increases, intragranular fractures are developed ranging from a local to a global distribution, and the macroscopic failure mode of intact granite changes from mixed tensileeshear to shear failure.Finally,3D morphological characteristics of the asperities on the shear-formed fracture surfaces were analyzed, and a quadrangular pyramid conceptual model representing these asperities was proposed and sufficiently verified.

文摘A novel high-order sliding mode control strategy is proposed for the attitude control problem of reentry vehicles in the presence of parametric uncertainties and external disturbances, which results in the robust and accurate tracking of the aerodynamic angle commands with the finite time convergence. Finally, simulation examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

文摘The existence of rolling deformation area in the rolling mill system is the main characteristic which dis- tinguishes the other machinery. The establishment ofdynamic lateral displacement function of metal in the deformation area makes the foundation for analyzing the coupling law between roll system and rolling deformation area, and provides a theoretical basis for the realization of the dynamic shape control of steel strip.

文摘The bearing is described by constrain matrix, and the spindle system of a NCsurface grinding machine is simplified as elastic-coupling beam, then modal synthesis method is usedto establish the dynamic model of beam. Moreover, the response of the end of rotor is analyzed, andthe natural frequency, principle mode and other dynamic characteristics of the coupling system arestudied, the law of bearing stiffness to coupling frequency and amplitude of rotor is also found. Finally, according to the actual condition, a dynamic absorber is designed. The simulation andexperimental results show that the amplitude of spindle can be declined effectively when the dynamicabsorber is attached.

文摘Gearbox is a key part in machinery,in which gear, shaft and bearing operate together to transmit motion and power. The wide usage and high failure rate of gearbox make it attract much attention on its health monitoring and fault diagnosis.Dynamic modelling can study the mechanism under different faults and provide theoretical foundation for fault detection. However, current commonly used gear dynamic model usually neglects the influence of bearing and shaft, resulting in incomplete understanding of gearbox fault diagnosis especially under the effect of local defects on gear and shaft. To address this problem,an improved gear-shaft-bearing-housing dynamic model is proposed to reveal the vibration mechanism and responses considering shaft whirling and gear local defects.Firstly,an eighteen degree-of-freedom gearbox dynamic model is proposed, taking into account the interaction among gear, bearing and shaft.Secondly, the dynamic model is iteratively solved. Then, vibration responses are expounded and analysed considering gear spalling and shaft crack.Numerical results show that the gear mesh frequency and its harmonics have higher amplitude through the spectrum.Vibration RMS and the shaft rotating frequency increase with the spalling size and shaft crack angle in general. An experiment is designed to verify the rationality of the proposed gearbox model.Lastly, comprehensive analysis under different spalling size and shaft crack angle are analysed. Results show that when spalling size and crack angle are larger,RMS and the amplitude of shaft rotating frequency will not increase linearly. The dynamic model can accurately simulate the vibration of gear transmission system, which is helpful for gearbox fault diagnosis.

文摘Calcareous sand is typically known as a problematic marine sediment because of its diverse morphology and complex inner pore structure. However, the coupling effects of morphology and inner pores on the mechanical properties of calcareous sand particles have rarely been investigated and understood. In this study, apparent contours and internal pore distributions of calcareous sand particles were obtained by three-dimensional(3D)scanning imaging and X-ray micro-computed tomography(X-mCT),respectively.It was revealed that calcareous sand particles with different outer morphologies have different porosities and inner pore distributions because of their original sources and particle transport processes. In addition,a total of 120 photo-related compression tests and 4923D discrete element simulations of four specific shaped particles,i.e.bulky,angular,dendritic and flaky, with variations in the inner pore distribution were conducted. The macroscopic particle strength and Weibull modulus obtained from the physical tests are not positively correlated with the porosity or regularity in shape, indicating the existence of coupling effect of particle shape and pore distribution. The shape effect on the particle strength first increases with the porosity and then decreases. The particle crushing of relatively regular particles is governed by the porosity, but that of extremely irregular particles is governed by the particle shape. The particle strength increases with the uniformity of the pore distribution.Particle fragmentation is mainly dependant on tensile bond strength, and the degree of tensile failure is considerably impacted by the particle shape but limited by the pore distribution.

文摘A fast self-adapting high-order sliding mode(FSHOSM)controller is designed for a class of nonlinear systems with unknown uncertainties. As for uncertainty-free nonlinear system,a new switching condition is introduced into the standard geometric homogeneity.Different from the existing geometric homogeneity method, both state variables and their derivatives are considered to bring a reasonable effective switching condition. As a result,a faster convergence rate of state variables is achieved.Furthermore, based on the integral sliding mode(ISM)and above geometric homogeneity,a self-adapting high-order sliding mode(HOSM)control law is proposed for a class of nonlinear systems with uncertainties. The resulting controller allows the closed-loop system to conduct with the expected properties of strong robustness and fast convergence.Stable analysis of the nonlinear system is also proved based on the Lyapunov approach. The effectiveness of the resulting controller is verified by several simulation results.

文摘This paper investigates the interaction of a small number of modes in the two-fluid Kelvin-Helmholtz instability at the nonlinear regime by using a two-dimensional hydrodynamic code. This interaction is found to be relatively long range in wave-number space and also it acts in both directions, i.e. short wavelengths affect long wavelengths and vice versa. There is no simple equivalent transformation from a band of similar modes to one mode representing their effective amplitude. Three distinct stages of interaction have been identified.

文摘We report the SERS enhancements of Raman forbidden surface modes of TiO2 in different sized TiO2 crystals. This indicates that the mechanism that governs the enhancements of the surface modes in TiO2 crystals most likely also dictates the enhancements of the N-719 dyes.
文摘Excess loss on the short wavelength side of the Bragg resonant wavelength caused by cladding mode coupling limits wide use of grating in the fiber communication system, especially in densed wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) system. A novel photosensitive fiber design that have depressed cladding and photosensitive inner cladding in the same fiber is proposed, which can suppress cladding mode coupling greatly. Using MCVD method B/Ge codoped fiber with depressed cladding was fabriceted out, which was also doped in boron and germanium and had the photosensitivity. Finally, the transmission spectrum of written grating in this fiber by phase mask method verified its larger photosensitivity and greatly suppression of cladding mode coupling.
