High-pressure veins are extensively developed in this HP belt. Compared with normal mid-ocean ridge basalt(N-MORB), the high-pressure veins and host rocks are enriched in light rare earth elements(LREE) and incompatible elements. But high-pressure veins show a larger variation than host rocks in total REE abundance. On the trace element spidergram, all the samples are enriched in incompatible elements and show strong positive Pb anomaly relative to N-MORB. The array tendency lines of plots of the HP rocks have apparent slopes on diagram of m(Sr) vs m(Sr)/m(Zr), m(Li) vs m(Li)/m(Y) and (m(Ce)) vs m(Ce)/m(Pb), which indicates that the enrichment in LREE and incompatible elements relative to N-MORB of the HP-metamorphic rocks from western Tianshan is not attributed to magma evolution process of the protolith. High field strength elements, such as Nb, Ta, Ti, Zr and Hf, do not show negative anomaly relative to N-MORB, which is dissimilar to that of island arc basalts. Therefore, the enrichment in LREE and incompatible elements of the HP rocks is not attributed to the enrichment of the source of the protolith. The mass ratios of Rb to Ba, Ce to Pb, Nb to U and Ta to U of high-pressure veins and host rocks are intermediate of mid-ocean ridge basalt or oceanic island basalt and continental crust. The fluids in western Tianshan paleosubduction zones are mixtures of two sources, dehydration or devolatilization of host rocks and of subducted sediments.展开更多

In the operating room, fluid administration based on PPV monitoring helps the physician in deciding whether to volume resuscitate or use interventions in patients undergoing surgery. Propofol is an intravenous induction agent which lowers blood pressure. There are multiple causes such as depression in cardiac output, and peripheral vasodilatation for hypotension. We undertook this study to observe the utility of PPV as a guide to fluid therapy after propofol induction. Primary outcome of our study was to monitor PPV as a marker of fluid responsiveness for the hypotension caused by propofol induction. Secondary outcome included the correlation of PPV with other hemodynamic parameters like heart rate (HR), systolic blood pressure (SBP), and diastolic blood pressure (DBP);after induction with propofol at regular interval of time. Methods: A total number of 90 patients were recruited. Either of the radial artery was then cannulated under local anaesthesia with 20G VygonLeadercath arterial cannula and invasive monitoring transduced. A baseline recording of heart rate (HR), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and PPV was then recorded. Patients were then induced with predetermined doses of propofol (2 mg/kg) and recordings of HR, SBP, DBP, and PPV were taken at 5, 10 and 15 minutes. Results: Intraoperatively, PPV was significantly higher at 5 minutes and significantly lower at 15 minutes after induction. It was observed that there were no statistically significant correlations between PPV and SBP or DBP. PPV was strongly and directly associated with HR. Conclusion: We were able to establish that PPV predicts fluid responsiveness in hypotension caused by propofol induction;and can be used to administer fluid therapy in managing such hypotension. However, PPV was not directly correlated with hypotension subsequent to propofol administration.展开更多

(1) In the simulated ultra-deep layer with a burial depth of 6000-8000 m, the mechanical compaction under overpressure reduces the remaining primary pores by about a half that under hydrostatic pressure. Overpressure can effectively suppress the mechanical compaction to allow the preservation of intergranular primary pores. (2) The linear contact length ratio under overpressure is always smaller than the linear contact length ratio under hydrostatic pressure at the same depth. In deep reservoirs, the difference between the mechanical compaction degree under overpressure and hydrostatic pressure shows a decreasing trend, the effect of abnormally high pressure to resist the increase of effective stress is weakened, and the degree of mechanical compaction is gradually close to that under hydrostatic pressure. (3) The microfractures in skeleton particles of deep reservoirs under overpressure are thin and long, while the microfractures in skeleton particles of deep reservoirs under hydrostatic pressure are short and wide. This difference is attributed to the probable presence of tension fractures in the rocks containing abnormally high pressure fluid. (4) The microfractures in skeleton particles under overpressure were mainly formed later than that under hydrostatic pressure, and the development degree and length of microfractures both extend deeper. (5) The development stages of microfractures under overpressure are mainly controlled by the development stages of abnormally high pressure and the magnitude of effective stress acting on the skeleton particles. Moreover, the development stages of microfractures in skeleton particles are more than those under hydrostatic pressure in deep reservoir. The multi-stage abnormally high pressure plays an important role in improving the physical properties of deep reservoirs.展开更多

To improve the accuracy of geopressure prediction in HTHP hydrocarbon reservoirs offshore Hainan Island, we made a comprehensive summary of current PPTs to identify existing problems and challenges by analyzing the global distribution of HTHP hydrocarbon reservoirs, the research status of PPTs, and the geologic setting and its HTHP formation mechanism. Our research results indicate that the HTHP formation mechanism in the study area is caused by multiple factors, including rapid loading, diapir intrusions, hydrocarbon generation, and the thermal expansion of pore fluids. Due to this multi-factor interaction, a cloud of HTHP hydrocarbon reservoirs has developed in the Ying-Qiong Basin, but only traditional PPTs have been implemented, based on the assumption of conditions that do not conform to the actual geologic environment, e.g., Bellotti's law and Eaton's law. In this paper, we focus on these issues, identify some challenges and solutions, and call for further PPT research to address the drawbacks of previous works and meet the challenges associated with the deepwater technology gap. In this way, we hope to contribute to the improved accuracy of geopressure prediction prior to drilling and provide support for future HTHP drilling offshore Hainan Island.展开更多

This paper examines temperature effects on the rheological properties of two types of high-density water-based drilling fluids (fresh water-based and brine-based) under high temperature and high pressure (HTHP) with a Fann 50SL rheometer. On the basis of the water-based drilling fluid systems formulated in laboratory, this paper mainly describes the influences of different types and concentration of clay, the content of a colloid stabilizer named GHJ-1 and fluid density on the rheological parameters such as viscosity and shear stress. In addition, the effects of aging temperature and aging time of the drilling fluid on these parameters were also examined. Clay content and proportions for different densities of brine-based fluids were recommended to effectively regulate the rheological properties. Four theological models, the Bingham, power law, Casson and H-B models, were employed to fit the rheological parameters. It turns out that the H-B model was the best one to describe the rheological properties of the high-density drilling fluid under HTHP conditions and power law model produced the worst fit. In addition, a new mathematical model that describes the apparent viscosity as a function of temperature and pressure was established and has been applied on site.展开更多

This property is often used as a pressure gauge in high pressure experiments with the hydrothermal diamond anvil cell (HDAC). Since the system of fluid inclusion is similar to that of HDAC, it can also be used to determine the internal pressure of fluid inclusions. Sphalerite is a common daughter mineral. In this study, the frequency shift of the 350 cm-1 peak of sphalerite has been studied from 296 to 523 K and from 0.07 to 2.00 GPa using the HDAC. The global slope of the isotherms (V350/p)T is 0.0048 in the studied pressure range. No significant variation of the slopes with temperature has been observed. The correlation between the frequency shift of the 350 cm-1 peak of sphalerite and pressure and temperature is constrained as P=208.33(△ Vp)350+3.13T-943.75. This relationship may be used to estimate the internal pressure of the sphalerite-bearing fluid inclusions.展开更多

文摘Polymer flooding in fractured wells has been extensively applied in oilfields to enhance oil recovery. In contrast to water, polymer solution exhibits non-Newtonian and nonlinear behavior such as effects of shear thinning and shear thickening, polymer convection, diffusion, adsorption retention, inaccessible pore volume and reduced effective permeability.Meanwhile, the flux density and fracture conductivity along the hydraulic fracture are generally non-uniform due to the effects of pressure distribution, formation damage, and proppant breakage. In this paper,we present an oil-water two-phase flow model that captures these complex non-Newtonian and nonlinear behavior, and non-uniform fracture characteristics in fractured polymer flooding. The hydraulic fracture is firstly divided into two parts:high-conductivity fracture near the wellbore and low-conductivity fracture in the far-wellbore section.A hybrid grid system, including perpendicular bisection(PEBI)and Cartesian grid,is applied to discrete the partial differential flow equations, and the local grid refinement method is applied in the near-wellbore region to accurately calculate the pressure distribution and shear rate of polymer solution. The combination of polymer behavior characterizations and numerical flow simulations are applied, resulting in the calculation for the distribution of water saturation, polymer concentration and reservoir pressure.Compared with the polymer flooding well with uniform fracture conductivity, this non-uniform fracture conductivity model exhibits the larger pressure difference, and the shorter bilinear flow period due to the decrease of fracture flow ability in the far-wellbore section. The field case of the fall-off test demonstrates that the proposed method characterizes fracture characteristics more accurately, and yields fracture half-lengths that better match engineering reality, enabling a quantitative segmented characterization of the near-wellbore section with high fracture conductivity and the far-wellbore section with low fracture conductivity. The novelty of this paper is the analysis of pressure performances caused by the fracture dynamics and polymer rheology,as well as an analysis method that derives formation and fracture parameters based on the pressure and its derivative curves.
文摘Background and Aims: Pulse pressure variation (PPV) is a reliable and predictive dynamic parameter presently being utilized for fluid responsiveness. However, PPV was not directly correlated with hypotension subsequent to propofol administration.
文摘Central venous pressure(CVP)serves as a direct approximation of right atrial pressure and is influenced by factors like total blood volume, venous compliance, cardiac output, and orthostasis.Normal CVP falls within 8-12 mmHg but varies with volume status and venous compliance.Monitoring and managing disturbances in CVP are vital in patients with circulatory shock or fluid disturbances.Elevated CVP can lead to fluid accumulation in the interstitial space, impairing venous return and reducing cardiac preload. While pulmonary artery catheterization and central venous catheter obtained measurements are considered to be more accurate, they carry risk of complications and their usage has not shown clinical improvement.Ultrasound-based assessment of the internal jugular vein(IJV)offers real-time,non-invasive measurement of static and dynamic parameters for estimating CVP.IJV parameters, including diameter and ratio, has demonstrated good correlation with CVP.Despite significant advancements in non-invasive CVP measurement,a reliable tool is yet to be found.Present methods can offer reasonable guidance in assessing CVP,provided their limitations are acknowledged.

文摘Considering the action mechanisms of overpressure on physical changes in skeleton particles of deep reservoir rocks and the differences in physical changes of skeleton particles under overpressure and hydrostatic pressure, the sandstone of the Jurassic Toutunhe Formation in the southern margin of Junggar Basin was taken as an example for physical modeling experiment to analyze the action mechanisms of overpressure on the physical properties of deep reservoirs. The multi-stage abnormally high pressure plays an important role in improving the physical properties of deep reservoirs.

文摘Decreasing the risks and geohazards associated with drilling engineering in high-temperature high-pressure(HTHP) geologic settings begins with the implementation of pre-drilling prediction techniques(PPTs). In this way, we hope to contribute to the improved accuracy of geopressure prediction prior to drilling and provide support for future HTHP drilling offshore Hainan Island.

文摘Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS) has been proven to be an attractive technique for in situ oceanic applications. However, when applying LIBS into deep-sea,the pressure effect caused by different ocean depths is inescapable and could have great influence on the LIBS signals. In this work, spectral characteristics of underwater LIBS were investigated as a function of pressure in the range of 0.1-45 MPa.A high-pressure chamber built in the laboratory was used to simulate the high-pressure deep-sea environment.Optimal laser energy and detection delay were first determined under different pressure conditions and were shown to be independent of the external pressure. The increase in pressure has a significant impact both on the peak intensity and line broadening of the observed spectra. The peak intensity of Na,Li and K lines increases with the increasing pressure until a maximum intensity is reached at 12.5 MPa.Above this value, the peak intensity decreases gradually up to 45 MPa.For Ca line, the maximum intensity was observed at 30 MPa.The line broadening keeps constant at low pressures from 0.1-10 MPa,while it increases linearly at higher pressures, indicating a higher electron density caused by the compression effect of the high external pressure. We also compared the spectral data obtained from the high-pressure chamber and from the field sea trials, and the good consistency between the laboratory data and sea-trial data suggested the key role of pressure effect on underwater LIBS signals for practical deep-sea applications.

文摘In-situ pressure-preserved coring(IPP-Coring)is considered to be the most reliable and efficient method for the identification of the scale of oil and gas resources.During IPP-Coring,because the rotation behavior of the pressure controller valve cover in different medium environments is unclear, interference between the valve cover and inner pipe may occur and negatively affect the IPP-Coring success rate.To address this issue,we conducted a series of indoor experiments employing a high-speed camera to gain greater insights into the valve cover rotation behavior in different medium environments,e.g.,air,water,and simulated drilling fluids. The results indicated that the variation in the valve cover rotation angle in the air and fluid environments can be described by a one-phase exponential decay function with a constant time parameter and by biphasic dose response function, respectively. The rotation behavior in the fluid environments exhibited distinct elastic and gravitational acceleration zones. In the fluid environments, the density clearly impacted the valve cover closing time and rotation behavior, whereas the effect of viscosity was very slight. This can be attributed to the negligible influence of the fluid viscosity on the drag coefficient found in this study;meanwhile, the density can increase the buoyancy and the time period during which the valve cover experienced a high drag coefficient.Considering these results, control schemes for the valve cover rotation behavior during IPP-Coring were proposed for different layers and geological conditions in which the different drilling fluids should be used,e.g.,the use of a high-density valve cover in high-pore pressure layers.

文摘Wave reflection and refraction in layered media is a topic closely related to seismology, acoustics, geophysics and earthquake engineering.Analytical solutions for wave reflection and refraction coefficients in multi-layered media subjected to P wave incidence from the elastic half-space are derived in terms of displacement potentials. The system is composed of ideal fluid, porous medium, and underlying elastic solid.By numerical examples, the effects of porous medium and the incident wave angle on the dynamic pressures of ideal fluid are analyzed. The results show that the existence of the porous medium, especially in the partially saturated case, may significantly affect the dynamic pressures of the overlying fluid.

文摘To maintain tight control over rheological properties of high-density water-based drilling fluids, it is essential to understand the factors influencing the theology of water-based drilling fluids. In addition, a new mathematical model that describes the apparent viscosity as a function of temperature and pressure was established and has been applied on site.

文摘Raman frequency of some materials, including minerals, molecules and ions, shifts systematically with changing pressure and temperature. This relationship may be used to estimate the internal pressure of the sphalerite-bearing fluid inclusions.

文摘The rheological properties of two kinds of oil-based drilling fluids with typically composition were studied at pressures up to 138 MPa and temperatures up to 204 ℃ using the RheoChan 7400 Rheometer. The experimental results show that the apparent viscosity, plastic viscosity and yield point decrease with the increase of temperature, and increase with the increase of pressure. The effect of pressure on the apparent viscosity, plastic viscosity and yield point is considerable at ambient temperature. However, this effect gradually reduces with the increase of temperature. The major factor influencing the rheological properties of oil-based drilling fluids is temperature instead of pressure in the deep sections of oil wells. On the basis of numerous experiments, the model for predict the apparent viscosity, plastic viscosity and yield point of oil-based drilling fluids at high temperature and pressure was established using the method of regressive analysis. It is confirmed that the calculated data are in good agreement with the measured data, and the correlation coefficients are more than 0.98.The model is convenient for use and suitable for the application in drilling operations.
