We have introduced a new approach to calculate the orbital angular momentum(OAM)of bound states in continuum(BICs)and below-continuum-resonance(BCR)modes in the rotational periodic system nested inside and outside by transforming the Bloch wave number from the translational periodic system.We extensively classify and study these BICs and BCR modes,which exhibit high-quality(high-Q)factors,in different regions relative to the interface of the system.These BICs and BCR modes with a high-Q factor have been studied in detail based on distinctive structural parameters and scattering theory.The outcomes of this research break the periodic limitation of interface state-based BICs,and realize more and higher symmetry interface state-based BICs and BCR modes.Moreover,we can control the region where light is captured by adjusting the frequency,and show that the Q factor of BICs is more closely related to the ordinal number of rings and the rotational symmetry number of the system. 展开更多

Fractal Characteristics and Main Controlling Factors of High-Quality Tight Sandstone Reservoirs in the Southeastern Ordos Basin

Due to the complex conditions and strong heterogeneity of tight sandstone reservoirs,the reservoirs should be classified and the controlling factors of physical properties should be studied.Cast thin section observations,cathodoluminescence,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and high-pressure mercury injection(HPMI)were used to classify and optimize the reservoir.The Brooks-Corey model and stepwise regression were used to study the fractal dimension and main controlling factors of the physical properties of the high-quality reservoir.The results show that the reservoirs in the study area can be divided into four types,and the high-quality reservoir has the best physical properties and pore-throat characteristics.In the high-quality reservoir,the homogeneity of transitional pores was the best,followed by that of micropores,and the worst was mesopores.The porosity was controlled by depth and kaolinite.The model with standardized coefficients is y=12.454−0.778×(Depth)+0.395×(Kaolinite).The permeability was controlled by depth,illite/montmorillonite,and siliceous cement,and the model with standardized coefficients is y=1.689−0.683×(Depth)−0.395×(Illite/Montmorillonite)−0.337×(Siliceous Cement).The pore-throat evolutionary model shows that the early-middle diagenetic period was when the reservoir physical properties were at their best,and the kaolinite intercrystalline pores and residual intergranular pores were the most important. 展开更多

The method of terahertz(THz)resonance with a high-quality(high-Q)factor offers a vital physical mechanism for metasurface sensors and other high-Q factor applications.However,it is challenging to excite the resonance with a high-Q factor in metasurfaces with proper sensitivity as well as figure of merit(FOM)values.Here,an all-dielectric metasurface composed of two asymmetrical rectangular blocks is suggested.Quartz and silicon are the materials applied for the substrate and cuboids respectively.The distinct resonance governed by bound states in the continuum(BIC)is excited by forming an asymmetric cluster by a novel hybrid method of cutting and moving the cuboids.The investigation focuses on analyzing the transmission spectra of the metasurface under different variations in structural parameters and the loss of silicon refractive index.When the proposed defective metasurface serves as a transmittance sensor,it shows a Q factor of 1.08×10^(4)and achieves an FOM up to 4.8×10^(6),which is obtained under the asymmetric parameter equalling 1μm.Simultaneously,the proposed defective metasurface is sensitive to small changes in refractive index.When the thickness of the analyte is 180μm,the sensitivity reaches a maximum value of 578 GHz/RIU.Hence,the proposed defective metasurface exhibits an extensive number of possible applications in the filters,biomedical diagnosis,security screening,and so on. 展开更多

By using the integrated methods includingsandbodies modelling of the outcrops, sedimentary facies ofthe cores and well logs of the drilled wells, and the reservoircorrelation of interwells, it is thought that the sandstone res-ervoirs of Kela-2 gas field are a suit of high-quality naturalgas reservoirs with great thickness, extensive and continuousdistribution, high porosity and permeability, and a few bar-rier beds. Sedimentary facies and microfacies are the mainfactors controlling the reservoir distribution and interiorheterogeneity. Based on a great deal of data of rock’s thinsections, porosity, permeability, and the parameters of capil-lary pressure, the reservoir diagenesis, controls, mechanismand evolution of pores have been studied. It is consideredthat compaction in the early stage and diagenetic dolomiteand calcite cements have effect on the decline of reservoirsproperty. Now compaction is chiefly middle to weak. Thebetter reservoirs have no or a few calcite cements. In theearly of deep buried stage, there are still mainly remainderprimary intergranular pores. The authigenic kaolinite ofreservoirs is the production of the dissolution of feldsparsand lithic fragments. The dissolution results in the partlymodified and broadened secondary intergranular pores. Inthe late of deep buried stage, structure fissures and over-pressure were in favor of improving and preservation ofthese pores. 展开更多

Weiyuan shale gas play is characterized by thin high-quality reservoir thickness,big horizontal stress difference,and big productivity differences between wells.Based on integrated evaluation of shale gas reservoir geology and well logging interpretation of more than 20 appraisal wells,a correlation was built between the single well test production rate and the high-quality reservoir length drilled in the horizontal wells,high-quality reservoir thickness and the stimulation treatment parameters in over 100 horizontal wells,the dominating factors on horizontal well productivity were found out,and optimized development strategies were proposed.The results show that the deployed reserves of high-quality reservoir are the dominating factors on horizontal well productivity.In other words,the shale gas well productivity is controlled by the thickness of the high-quality reservoir,the high-quality reservoir drilling length and the effectiveness of stimulation.Based on the above understanding,the development strategies in Weiyuan shale gas play are optimized as follows:(1)The target of horizontal wells is located in the middle and lower parts of Longyi 11(Wei202 area)and Longyi 11(Wei204 area).(2)Producing wells are drilled in priority in the surrounding areas of Weiyuan county with thick high-quality reservoir.(3)A medium to high intensity stimulation is adopted.After the implementation of these strategies,both the production rate and the estimated ultimate recovery(EUR)of individual shale gas wells have increased substantially. 展开更多

This paper estimates the size of the digital economy in 38 countries between 2005 and 2018 and conducts an empirical study on this foundation.The results show that the digital economy has a significant role in promoting highquality economic development,primarily through industrial digitalizaion.Further research shows regional heterogeneity in the impact of the digital economy,which is greater in developed countries.Analysis of the underlying mechanisms shows that the digital economy promotes high-quality economic development in both developed and developing countries by improving technological eficiency and technological progress.However,the effect of technological progress in developing countries is clearly weaker than that in developed countries.In addition,scale efficiency in developing countries are not strengthened by the digital economy.Therefore,high-quality economic development requires the digital transformation of traditional industries and promoting their integration with digital technologies. 展开更多

Although total factor productivity(TFP)is a common concept in mainstream Western economics,its origins are actually embedded in Marx's understanding of improving labor productivity.As an important element of labor productivity under socialized production conditions,TFP is further reflected in the category of"socially necessary labor time"in two distinct senses.Re-examining TFP from the perspective of Marxist political economy and incorporating it into the theoretical system of political economy of socialism with Chinese characteristics vividly illustrates the essence of"adhering to original principles,assimilating foreign concepts,and embracing a forward-looking vision"within political economy of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In practice,it is necessary to start with Marx's theory of productive labor and delineate the sectors involved in productive labor so that TFP and its fluctuations can be measured in a more relevant way.In the context of the new era and the new journey,as the key to achieving high-quality economic development in China,efforts are needed to increase TFP.This requires balancing economic factors such as the long term and short term,supply and demand,and gross quantity and structure,and promoting transformative changes in the quality,efficiency,and dynamism of economic development. 展开更多

The entropy method is used to measure the high-quality economic development levels of 30 provinces(autonomous regions,municipalities)in China from 2011 to 2020,and the impacts of factor price distortion,technological innovation,and their interaction terms on high-quality economic development are analyzed based on Tobit regression.The results show that highquality economic development of 30 provinces(autonomous regions,municipalities)in China is on the rise;factor price distortion has an inhibitory effect on high-quality economic development,while technological innovation has a promoting effect on high-quality economic development,and both of them have a lag effect;technological innovation level can help alleviate the negative impact of factor price distortion on high-quality economic development;and sub-regional research shows that the inhibitory effect of factor price distortion on highquality economic development in the east is significantly higher than that in the central and western regions,but the positive effect of technological innovation and the interaction terms between the two on high-quality economic development is significantly lower than that in the central and western regions.Accordingly,it is proposed to optimize top-level design for the two-wheel drive for high-quality economic development,strengthen the primary role of enterprises in innovation to promote high-quality economic development,and optimize the market-oriented allocation of factors to improve the efficiency of resource allocation. 展开更多

Designs and experiments on infrared two-dimensional silicon photonic crystal slab devices

Photonic crystal (PhC) has offered a powerful means to mold the flow of light and manipulate light- matter interaction at subwavelength scale. Photonic crystal (PhC) has offered a powerful means to mold the flow of light and manipulate light- matter interaction at subwavelength scale. Silicon has a large refraction index and low loss in infrared wavelengths, which makes it an important optical material. And silicon has been widely used for integrated photonics applications. In this paper, we have reviewed some recent theoretical and experimental works in our group on infrared two- dimensional (2D) air-bridged silicon PhC slab devices that are based on both band gap and band structure engineering. We have designed, fabricated, and characterized a series of PhC waveguides with novel geometries, PhC high-quality (high-Q) cavity, and channel drop filters utilizing resonant coupling between waveguide and cavity. These devices are aimed to construct a more flexible network of transport channel for infrared light at micrometer/nanometer scale. We have also explored the remarkable dispersion proper- ties of PhCs by engineering the band structures to achieve negative refraction, self-collimation, superprism, and other anomalous dispersion behaviors of infrared light beam. Furthermore, we have designed and fabricated a PhC structure with negative refraction effect and used scanning near-field optical microscopy to observe the negative refraction beam. Finally, we have designed and realized a PhC structure that exhibits a self-collimation effect in a wide angle range and with a large bandwidth. Our works presented in this review show that PhCs have a strong power of controlling propagation of light at micrometer/ nanometer scale and possess a great potential of applications in integrated photonic circuits. 展开更多
